LOCALLY OWNED- SUPER SERVICE!!!- You cannot find better customer care anywhere. These folks are always friendly and helpful. These are the kind of people that will give you "old fashioned" courtesy and care. There still exists a plce that will put something behind the counter for you if you call in about a product. They will help you load your order in your car and sincerely thank you for comin' by. I love being able to support a local business as opposed to a corporate giant. I visited pet supplies plus today to grab my dog, some dog food. While I was in there shopping for dog food, I saw that the Halloween costumes were on sale. It was a cute pumpkin costume that was marked down to $3.98 so I decided to purchase it. In the process of me checking out my doggie had an accident on the floor so I asked for some wipes so that I could clean it up. I didn't really pay any attention to the total. I paid with my phone and we were out of the door. When I reviewed my receipt, I realized that I was charged $12.98 for the costume versus the $3.98 that it was marked down for so I went back inside. The cashier merely told me that it was a mistake and that someone printed the wrong price on the costume. All of the cashiers were friendly and professional, but I don't agree that their mistake should have cost me. The tag was marked at $3.98 and that is what I should have paid for it. I Do not have a picture of the tag because the cashier peeled it off while I was inside the store. I have made purchases at the store before and I have even used their grooming service. If I see a price, then that is what I believe the price is and if their employees made a mistake, they should be trained versus the customer having to pay for it. I kept the costume because it is cute and I know that my dog will look cute in it! read more

My dog went in looking one way and came out looking totally different. She gave him a poodle cut and that is not what I asked for. Though he is mixed with toy poodle and she felt like he looked more poodle than Pekingese, did not give her the liberty to cut him like a poodle. It's absolutely terrible and I hate it! read more

We took our boxer, Jax, to them for a nail trim. The groomer, Rita, is excellent & very professional.

I am very disappointed. MY Shi-poo Mr has been groomed here for 2 years and this was the worst experience He was completely shaved down. He's usually left with fluffy ears and tail and a rounded mouth . It's awful and there's nothing I can do to change it read more

The lady in the grooming room is fantastic--knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly great with animals. I always feel confident bringing my dog here, and he absolutely loves his spa day! read more

The staff at this location are outstanding! Excellent customer service. I have never had a negative experience at this store and have been shopping here for at least 7 years. We have a multiple pet household and Pet Supplies Plus really helps to keep their needs affordable. I use the website for rewards and discounts and it makes a difference. I just wanted to write a review to acknowledge a business that has consistently provided excellent customer service on a regular basis over many years. Even after any staff turnover and changes, this store remains excellent. read more

My pups had the honor of being groomed at this location and we are very satisfied. My oldest is a 6 year old German Shepherd who doesn't like the groomers. He rarely makes it through the whole appointment without them calling me to say he broke out of the dog cages and was whining. So when I brought him here and they said it would be 4 hours until I could pick him up, I panicked. But not once did they call. My second dog is a silver lab who is hyper and loves a bath and rub. They treated my dogs like their own. They took their time and the dogs look and smell amazing! First time customer who also received a discount for both dogs. I was surprised and happy with their appointment. Picture below of my fur babies after their appointment. read more

Waste of time to shop here. No customer service, no one offers to help with heavy items anymore, and they do not honor customer rewards earned through purchases. Tried to use a $15.00 reward and a $10.00 reward and was told they can only take 1 at a time. Prices here have steadily increased since the pandemic and who can afford to shop without coupons. Will be heading to Tractor Supply for better pricing and outstanding customer service. read more

Great service and such a friendly staff who treats our pets like family. Prices are great and sales all the time on favorite brands.

I have never been so disappointed with my dogs hair cut as I was today. My groomer wasn't there so I had to tell the other groomer what I wanted. He wasn't cut the way I said, my groomer then told my husband that I didn't know how I wanted him cut and they did a standard cut. read more

Pet Supplies Plus Concord - They did way better than the competition that we had been going to for 9 yrs! - Pet Stores Near Me - Concord, North Carolina

We went here to get our dogs groomed and they turned us away because we didn't know the date our dogs got their rabies shots even thought the tag said 2021 1 year. The tags weren't even removed from the paperwork we got from the vet and had their name and breed on their and we're still told we could be lying. We came with their rabies tags and all their paperwork and they still said it wasn't valid and that we could've stolen someone else's tags which was extremely rude. We've been going here for a long time and the groomers were just plain out rude. On their site it says proof of rabies which is why we brought their tags and paperwork but clearly they were lazy, because they also changed our appointment time, and turned us away for the tags not being valid even though they were given by a veterinarian. We've taken our dogs to different groomers with no issues. That's fine though because we took them to petsmart and they got groomed with no issues I'll no longer be coming here for anything. read more

Do not work here!!!! They are two faced and rude as hell!!! They will talk about you behind your back calling you lazy and saying that you don't do anything. I've worked there for a month now and I regret even going to the interview. I didn't think that they would be two faced and rude. They will write you up for the stupidest reason (example: they wrought me up because I left without saying anything to anyone.... ummm I'm not going to be respectful to someone who's not respectful to me. Also wrought me up because I "didn't do call backs for the next day" ummm good try but I did autumn and Sara) autumn and tyreese will sit in the groom room and argue the whooooole day if you'd let them . Also tyreese and autumn will sit on their phone all day long and take forever on a dog that should only take 2-3 hours to groom they take 4-5 hours sometimes because there always on their phone. Also when I have my days off (Thursday and Sunday) the next day that I come in either one of the groomers that worked that day did not clean after their self I have to clean up after them. I am not anyone's bitch and I will not be ran over like this. These people that work here just does not deserve an employee that is kind and does everything for everyone! Back stabbers, two faced and rude!!!!! Again I would not work here if I was you! I've had to bite my tongue multiple times! Like today 11/26/19, tyreese was on the phone with some person that I had called earlier from a voicemail, tyreese puts the lady on hold and asks autumn and my self if anyone's talked to so and so and autumn says no I haven't talked to anyone today and I was getting a dog out of the kennel and autumn says " Alexus did you call them" I say yes she says " DID YOU NOT HERE HIM(talking about tyreese)". One you are not my mother and two you will not run all over me like that. ‍ like I said bad company to work for!! read more

My friend went in to get crickets. He has a disability, and the manager never spoke to him or said anything. This has happened previously with this same manager. Also, there was a cashier there who was extremely rude. My friend and I did alert another manager who was very kind, and helped us remedy the situation. However, the atmosphere has changed drastically. My friend has been coming here for years, and it used to be a much more cheerful experience, and animal friendly. It was noticed that a golden tree frog was kept with fire belly toads, as well as a green tree frog. These three breeds are NOT compatible in the same tank. There needs to be more training and education about reptiles and fish, as well as people with disabilities at this location. read more

Billy was super helpful with my newly rescued Bearded Dragon, even looking her over for me and give me some info on her color and morph. I wish they'd start to sell hornworms so I never had 5k shop anywhere else for my pets and rescues! Ashleigh, was an amazingly helpful and friendly cashier even giving me a sample and putting in some buy 1 get one coupons on the Kitten food I was buying! I've currently got, 2 beardies, 2 aquatic turtles, a fishtank, 3 regular cats and 2 rescues I am rehabilitating and 2 older beagles... not to mention the chickens! I can't say enough about the knowledgeable and helpful staff here! read more

I'm a big fan of pet supplies plus & when we visit our son in NC we always bring his labs for a 'spa day'. We did this time too. And I also brought my 6lb Maltipoo to have the hair between her pads shaved. What a mistake! I could've done it myself and I will in the future. I spent $150 between bathes, grooming and nails and she had the nerve to charge me $10 for my 6lbs's pads. Was very disappointed and disgusted. But you live and you learn! read more

I've been coming here for ages to grab cat supplies as I live two minutes down the street. I love the convenience, and they always have great sales just when I need a giant bag of cat food and a million cans of wet food. Well, today I went in for one thing and happened to notice the grow-your-own cat grass. A nearby employee, Kenneth, wandered over and asked if I needed help, so I asked if they sold any pre-grown cat grass. Well, ten minutes later, he had a little slip written up for me special ordering a pot of cat grass for my fur babies. He said he'd Just started, and honestly he did such a great job and totally made my day. THANKS KENNETH :) read more

This was the best experience I had in a pet supply store! I was given a recommendation from another pet store in Huntersville to come here ( they didn't know much about fish). I went in looking for information on fish since the two I got died withing days of me bringing them home. I went out to get fish and get answers on what I need to do so that this doesn't happen again. I believe his name was Ryan (deemed him "the fish guy") he was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about fish and so so helpful, had a sense of humor and was quick and efficient. He got me the right type of fish, walked me through the transition for the fish. Overall great experience, Thanks Ryan!! read more
