This was my second time taking my Yorki to Styled Pooch. The first cut by Amber was awesome. When I called to book my second appointment, I was told she left for personal reasons. I was assured Sevyn could be groomed wit the same results. while there were good intention, Sevyn looked like a dog given a bAl cut. You know like mom' use to do. He is u even and definitely not a Yorki cut. They said I could bring him in for a touch up. I said yes, but Bah, I think I'll pass. I guess it's back to Indian Trail. I was trying to patronage local. My dog came home with a fractured pelvis after getting groomed there. Debbie is a horrible business owner and I tried to be fair with her and allow her to make things right. She doesn't have cameras, and she would not own up to anything. Her insurance would not cover it because there were no witnesses and no camera footage in her business for an instance like this. She initially offered to pay my vet bill, but once I told her there would be more vet bills bc there was a minimum 8 week recovery period and my dog would need follow up xrays, she then changed her attitude and wanted to speak with my vet and she told me she would call me back. My vet spoke with her, and told her and I that this type of injury comes from trauma and not old age. Debbie never called me after she spoke with my vet like she said she would. My 15 yr old deaf and partially blind Yorkie was walking around the back yard just fine before I took her there. Debbie gently handed my dog to me when I picked her up, my dog cried when I sat her down in the car and once we got home she would not stand or walk and she started urinating in her dog bed. She blew off my phone calls several times with excuses and promised to get back to me. The only way I could speak with her was to go there in person. On my 2nd visit to discuss things, since she wouldn't call me back, she said she was going to get a polygraph test (what a joke)This went on for months after she then turned it over to her insurance which was a waste of my time and a stall tactic on her end. I finally went in to confront her about it for one last time. It was a Monday, the place was empty except for her and the dog she left unattended to come up front to greet me. Once she came around the corner and saw it was me and spoke, she then said I'll be right back. My mother and I literally followed her around the corner and watched her secure a dog to the table! We immediately confronted her about the unsecured dog and she lied, telling us we were wrong and we just couldn't see that the dog was harnessed. It makes no sense she would walk back to the table if the dog was harnessed. I was so patient and tried to be understanding and all I got in return were her lies and excuses for months. She then had the nerve to tell me my dog was already injured when I brought her in. My intentions were to not blast her on social media bc I'm an understanding person and I realize mistakes happen and I'm not out to hurt her business, but after this last visit I assured her I would tell every person I knew. I wanted to support a local business and it was my second time taking her there, and I regret leaving Petsmart. Petsmart has cameras and I was always happy and my dog was happy there too The rehabilitation process was a lot of work on my end and I had to take time off work and pay to have her medically boarded at my vets office thru the day while I was at work. She peeed and pooped on herself the first two weeks, and I worked with her around the clock to get her to stand and walk again. It's been 9 months since this happened and I'm finally getting around to posting this bc I get so upset every time I think about this nightmare. Please don't take your pet to this place! read more

I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone! They made my aussiedoodle feel so welcomed and comfortable she didn't want to leave! She looks so cute and I knew nothing about grooming aussiedoodles because this was her first haircut and they recommended their professional opinion just for her because of her puppy coat with her only being 5 months old, they even sent her home with a bow!! Grooming was good but I don't feel comfortable leaving my dog here. When I came to pick her up the older lady, Debbie I believe her name was, walked away from the grooming table and left a small dog alone still attached to the neck restraint. I highly recommend A Styled Pooch. They do an excellent job on my Sheltie and that credit goes to Niya. I took him to a different groomer and they hacked his fur something awful. No idea what they were thinking but Niya has fixed it. My dog starts barking blocks away when he realizes where we are going and can't wait for me to open the door so he can go inside. The staff is very loving to all the animals in there and they definitely know what they are doing. You won't be disappointed. read more

If i could give 0 stars and middle fingers up i would. A styled pooch is highly unprofessional. Not only do they have cages stacked on TOP of each other where they place dogs but they leave dogs on groom tables by them selves??? To top off my experience me and my sister in law droppeD her dog off for a nail trim and when we picked him up they said that we should learn how to do nails due the 3 people had to hold a 14 month old puppy down just to do his nails. Not only was the job done poorly but we paid $15 for a half ass job?! Pathetic work. read more

I've been taking my Wheaten to South Charlotte for 5 years because I could not find anyone to cut her breed. I stumbled on these guys this week and made an appointment. They did a great job and I no longer have to make that 45 min minimum drive each way. I'll miss the great groomers she has had but will love having a local groomer. read more

We were trying to find a groomer that would provide a precision cut for a multipoo. The cut was mediocre and it appears the tail was not even touched. I did not see anything special about this cut. read more

This place was absolutely AWFUL! Without a doubt the WORST cut our Shorkiepoo has EVER had. He still had eye goo stuck under his eyes. He wasn't bathed properly, if at all, & they had so much stinking cologne on him that he had to be rewashed when we got him home. We showed the woman the goo & the dirt on his face & she acted like IT WASN'T THERE!! His hair is gapped, uneven & WAY too short. He looks terrible! They make you pay before they bring your dog out so that was a wasted $50.oo. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I drive from Harrisburg to this salon because of the consistent good work this salon does on my goldendoodle. It's not easy to find a place that can groom your doodle and leave him looking like a doodle instead of a poodle. They keep it clean, which is hard to do, and my pet is never held for an entire day, and seems calm when I pick him up. I'm happy. read more
