The services has been great, there is an auto text message that reminds me of appointments and when they are on their way. When they arrive they park in front of the house and come to the door to get Paris. Paris gets a full groom in about a hour and I do not even have to leave home and she does not have to be away from home all day like her old groomer. Paris comes back smelling great, her fur is soft and fluffy and she has a cute bow for her top knot. I am so glad to have found Loyal Friend, quality service and so convenient for my busy schedule!

That is what I usually pay for her after he arrived and she was in the grooming truck. I got a phone call from someone at the company made a mistake. It's $210 not 120. That's like a bait and switch. I have never paid $210 for this dog to be groomed and she's three years old. I told I like him, but I am not coming back to a you because you work for a company that is dishonest and I think I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well that's how upset I am. I live in a more upscale community and you gotta wonder whether in a nice house like what's what I don't understand I've never had this happen to me before so this company will never ever get anything from me but a bad review and I've never bad reviewed anyone.

She pays special attention to the areas we request, dogs look and smell fantastic and are super happy when we get them back. Overall convenient and friendly service that has done well for my dogs!

My pup's sanitary area/back legs/behind her ears was a disaster-despite my best efforts and regular brushing. Holly was late for our scheduled time BUT she made up for it. She spent at least two hours working on her. My girl looks like a new pup, smells beautiful, no more matting, and seemed to have a great time w Holly. Holly was friendly, professional, and I'm very happy with the experience. My Jolene looks and feels better, and that's what matters most. I think a lot of these negative reviews are due to lack of communication/scheduling. Which is understandable. By the time she showed up, I was no longer expecting her to come. Please take into consideration she is traveling all over the area, and often taking clients without knowing what state the dog is in, or how long it will take. English is (presumably) not her first language, but I am happy with the service overall, and I plan to schedule again.

Extremely Rude and Arrogant…read more Wrote a review back in February and gave the place high marks. They still do a great job on grooming but at a price and I don't mean financial. Biggest problem we have had is the length of time it takes to get Watson groomed. Can take up to 5 hours but they swear it was only 4 but still 4 is a bit long. Normally my wife will drop Watson off and either she or I will pick him up. First a bit about Watson. Watson is a 18 months old this next week and loves people. He is what is called a "fluffy" which means he has a recessive gene and rather that have the soft silky inner coat and a course water proof coat on top, he has little of the top coarse coat. Coat is very silky and soft but somewhat long and still needs to be brushed out and like all Corgi's they shed a lot so they have to have the long hair combed out. It does take time and in addition, Corgi's grow lots of hair between their toes which needs to be cut out and we also pay extra to trim his nails. He's not low maintenance but we've always paid extra for that level of attention and as mentioned, the outcome has always been excellent. My wife mentioned that she thought the 4 - 5 hours seemed a bit excessive and it ended up with us sitting around the house, waiting for a call or going up at around 3 after dropping him off at around 10 or 11 am and still not ready. Susan, my wife when she addressed this, was told they have an Express Service where you drop the dog off at an appointed time and they the call you 10 minutes before they are finished with grooming. When my wife called to make the appointment and gave the information, someone in the background called out a warning " It's the Corgi" alerting everyone that this was going to be a high maintenance appointment. My wife booked an appointment for 8:00am which we thought was odd because they do not open till 9:00am. Still she showed up at 8:00 am along with three other patrons and 4 other dogs. None of the three groomers showed up till 8:05 am or later. Several hours later, we did get the call to pick him up. My wife left the house shortly thereafter and rather than leave Watson in the car while she went into Walgreens, she stopped on the way and picked up one item and then to PetSmart. She walked in and told the people at the front that she was there to pick up Watson and while she was waiting, she asked the manager about dog food. We are changing Watson's Dog Food in light of recent FDA findings and they did not carry or only carried larger bags of the new food recommended by our Vet. Susan has asked before and was told they were working on it. About that time, someone came from the back with Watson and we were told not to bring Watson back for Express Grooming because we had failed to show up within the 10 minute window of the call. At no point was it communicated that the "we will call you 10 minutes before" was a line in the sand and if you did not respond, we would be penalized. Someone later tried to explain that Express was generally used for Service Animals where time was limited but personally I think this was someone trying to make excuses. Susan looked at the receipt tonight and we were charged $11.00 for the Express Service but this was never a charge explained upfront. Not that that is a big issue because there would have been no problem with the $11.00 if we had got what we needed without the drama of "you can't bring Watson back" etc Grooming is excellent but the attitude and arrogance nd the way customers are treated is unacceptable. We will not be back and are currently looking for a groomer in the North Mecklenburg area. Susan is afraid to take Watson back here of a fear of retaliation for this review.

Whenever petsmart is full we make the trek to Huntersville to board our 2 dogs. This last visit was a total nightmare. Our French Bulldog went in feeling happy with no marks or injuries, however he came out with a bloody face , When I picked him up he was having a panic attack and when he got home he vomited all evening into the next day. By day 3 he still has not been himself. I positivey 100 percent know my dog went in there with ZERO injuries. He has a pretty significant mark on his face as you can tell by the photos. I am not a person to complain, about anything but this upset me so much.My dog will be scared for life. I inquired about this and was told, "nothing happened" They said, "Per your request we let him play with your older dog, Teddy and no other dogs. I said Teddy had to be kept separate, not Simba the French bulldog and all I know is I came out of there with an injured, bloody dog and I know for a fact he didnot go int like that. The manager was rude and told me it didn't happen there. Sorry but it did. I also asked for a treat for my 13 year old Corgi to lure him into the car and the girl behind the counter said, "we can't give him a treat, as that will take away from other dogs. Really? I just spent over $300,00 and you are telling me you can't give me a little treat to help me get my elderly dog in the car? wOW I said I will pay for the treat, do you want 25 cents for it, or a dollar perhaps. She said, "no it will still take away from another dog" wow, mind boggling. Don't they have a little box of treats back there, was she for real? Finally I got one for the manager (the same guy that told me absolutely nothing happened to my dog) which is a total lie and I wish I could get my hands on some video.I told him I just wanted to know what happened and he was in total denial. When I picked the dogs up they were traumatized and when I asked how they did their response was, "fine? Never, ever again do I take my dogs here or anywhere for that matter as it left a terrible taste in my mouth. I will hire a dog sitter to come to my home in the future. I haVe no reason to slam Happy Paws, I am not a cruel human being but this is the truth of what happened. Don't bring your dog to this establishment, NOT SAFE! Seriously my dog was traumatized all the way home and for the next 3 days, bleeding, I am so upset.
