After reading the negative reviews, I noticed a consistent theme: people felt disrespected, inconvenienced, or emotionally frustrated. That reaction is understandable. No one likes wasted time, and appointments should be honored. Personally, I have not experienced delayed appointments. What has changed is that appointments are harder to get, and that is worth asking why. Some reviewers were upset about receiving results over the phone. I actually prefer that. Preferences differ, and that matters. Could bedside manner improve? Yes. I agree with that criticism, and I won't defend it. There is room for improvement. That said, let's consider the nature of this practice. After the tests, they said I needed to go in person to talk about my results, even though I asked if that's even necessary and I'd prefer to be sent my results. When I go in for my results, I sit in the patient room for like 45 minutes. When I walked in, there was maybe one other person, not sure who else in the back. So it didn't seem busy. He finally comes to talk to me for like 10 minutes and the things mentioned are things I could've seen off the results of the tests. They charged my insurance for a "long" visit. $160. Apparently, it's based on when I walk in, even if they take forever to see me. I called about the $200 in claims and say I didn't want to go in the office, if I didn't have to, and I asked for what's covered. They didn't budge on the charges. I called my insurance and they called the office directly. Luckily, the insurance representative got some of it waived. Summary... I go in for an insurance covered physical. They end up charging me over $200 in claims.

Despite the facility being in-network with my insurance, they submitted the claim as out-of-network. Since January, I have called their billing department more than six times and spoken with multiple representatives--Keywana, Cynthia, Trajdtta, Tressa, and Angela. I even had my insurance company join the calls to walk them through how to properly file the claim. Unfortunately, it was still submitted incorrectly. As a result, instead of the expected $50 emergency visit copay, my Explanation of Benefits shows a patient responsibility of $801. What's especially frustrating is that I took my daughter to the same facility the week prior for the exact same issue (at a time when their X-ray machine was working), and her claim was processed correctly. Despite repeated guidance from my insurance company, the billing department has been unable to follow the proper procedures. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and I will not be returning to this facility. I even asked for the manager of the billing department and they refused to put me in contact with them. Apparently, the way they submitted the claim for my daughter who has the same insurance as me and had the same exact reason for visit (fractured bone/X-Ray) was different that the way they submitted mine and I am very disappointed that they are not willing to follow the direction they were given by CareFirst insurance company. This place is in network with my insurance and they could choose to file it as in network, but when I tried to give my daughter's name to Angela today, she was not even willing to get the info and rejected it. The office manager was not empathetic to my concern and is the final reason for my departure. She does not care for the practice and will be the reason for other patients to leave. Dr. Fletcher told me that 70 percent of us will get COVID-19 and that it would be better to get it over the summer, even for me, an asthmatic. She also gave my daughter a sheet of recommended vitamins, herbs, and supplements to take which include elderberry among other things. Dr. Fletcher's approach and advice is in direct contrast to that of the CDC. And I believe she is a danger to the public in advising people to actively get a disease that spreads so easily and has killed so many. I personally thought she was a f***ing kook and I told her so.

I wasted my time for over a month with this office expecting to be seen and then wasted 4 hours on the phone trying to get it sorted out. I would not recommend this office to anyone, I even did the leg work to insure that my insurance was in network. The only helpful person I spoke to on the phone was Gabriella with central scheduling find a doctor. I can only imagine that the quality of care is no better than the front desk.

I tagged along to my friend's first appointment thinking I might go there myself, but knew immediately to steer clear based on the 8 foot ad for hormone replacement therapy in the waiting room (see pic). Endorsed with a photo of Coleman, herself, it essentially promises to take twenty years off your body. All of its statements are outlandish. It's scary that a physician would push expensive drugs with very serious potential side effects to this degree. Hormone replacement therapy is something a lot of women struggle with, and the risks are very real, and include strokes and cancer. Sometimes HRT is absolutely the best way to go, but it should only be used if medically (or mentally) necessary. In the actual exam rooms, Coleman has more ads--videos for the latest name-brand (and expensive) drugs. At the end, they all say, "Ask your doctor if you might be right for X drug." Advertising drugs directly to patients in your office by video when you haven't even seen the patient yet is a horror I've never seen anywhere else. A physician should not be under the thumb of pharmaceutical companies. It only results in inaccurate--and expensive!--prescribing. If you want a doctor who prescribes based on symptoms and what drug will most effectively and inexpensively solve the problem, do not go to Coleman.

I always feel like I'm in a cattle line being herded to the next location, but not with Dr. Coleman. I made my appointment and went in to see her. Her office's appearance was clean and organized which is always a plus when dealing with the medical profession. I was seen within about 5 minutes of my arrival. I had my vitals checked then was immediately placed in a waiting room where I waited for Dr. Coleman for about 2 minutes. Talk about FAST Service. Her bedside manner is impeccable and she knows her stuff. Once I began discussing my issue she made me feel like she REALLY cared and was REALLY listening. She's very down to Earth and knowledgeable. I have lived in this area for 35+ years and am so sorry that I had not been to her before but I promise she will be my GP until she retires or I die. Whichever comes first. If you are looking for a competent physician that doesn't just care about the bottom line but actually has a genuine interest in your overall health. Dr. Linda Coleman CAN'T BE BEAT!!!!! Wish I could give 100 stars!!! Well worth it.
