Whoever the doctor was on Labor Day was a joke. Rude, scoffed at our questions and was not helpful. Coming here was a waste of time.

Never heard from them again. Talked to people and found a much better alternative with the Herndon Medical Center.

I used to take my daughter there to see Stephanie Jennings. I did like Jennings. She…read morewas....assertive. I didn't mind it because I can be too, but my duaghters mom did. You can imagine why. Anywho, I'm upset and annoyed that SFP stopped accepting insurance. My first reaction was to leave a one star review, but that would not be fair. I believe they have their reasons. Many insurance companies do not align with, or support the type of care SFP provides. I do. After reading the negative reviews, I noticed a consistent theme: people felt disrespected, inconvenienced, or emotionally frustrated. That reaction is understandable. No one likes wasted time, and appointments should be honored. Personally, I have not experienced delayed appointments. What has changed is that appointments are harder to get, and that is worth asking why. Some reviewers were upset about receiving results over the phone. I actually prefer that. Preferences differ, and that matters. Could bedside manner improve? Yes. I agree with that criticism, and I won't defend it. There is room for improvement. That said, let's consider the nature of this practice. Imagine a doctor telling patients that improvement requires an alternative protocol: supplements, timing, lifestyle changes, and long-term commitment. No magic pill. No instant results. Some patients respond with "that's too much," "that's too expensive," or "I can't do that." If a practitioner truly believes in their protocol and practices with integrity, it is reasonable to say: if you are unwilling to follow it, this may not be the right place for you. Health requires time, effort, and maintenance. Proactive care is very different from reactive care. That difference often separates one star reviews from five star reviews. So ask yourself: why do people choose this practice? Is the alternative better, or simply more familiar? Where do your values lie? Are you proactive about your health, willing to research and participate in your care, or do you expect doctors to have every answer while making you feel comfortable along the way? This is an alternative practice for people who are dissatisfied with mainstream medicine. It is not for everyone. No doctor, primary care provider, alternative practitioner, or specialist has all the answers. That is precisely why SFP blends approaches, though it clearly leans more alternative than conventional. Choose wisely. Do your research. Think critically. As for service: service is declining everywhere, not just here. Expectations are high, patience is low, and social media amplifies dissatisfaction. Criticism is valid when it is constructive, but perspective matters. This practice works for people who understand what they are signing up for. If you do, you may find real value here.

This place comes highly recommended... people absolutely love them. Then they stopped taking…read moreinsurance. Which I get , insurance puts up too much of a fight, they lose too much money. So now, you're paying out of pocket. But they are still trying to run like they take insurance. Ridiculous long wait times. Like insanely rude long wait times... online tele visits... Dr was over 30 minutes late and didn't even apologize. Every time I've been in that office, ppl are pissed, asking how much longer. You have the front desk girls loudly gossiping, then when someone gets upset about waiting they shift to talking in Spanish. They do actually take their time, you don't feel rushed, they listen... But I think they need a system and put the patient first, our time is valuable.... Our money is precious!

Place was clean, not overly busy when I arrived. Was in-and-out within a little over an hour. Staff are courteous, professional, and efficient. I just wish I could access visit documents and blood test results with an online account. I had to go back a few days later and receive paper copy, which I then had to scan to provide to my primary care Dr. All in all, if I get illin' like that again, I'd go back here for care.

The receptionist was less than helpful and said care now told her to charge the full amount. Some bs thing they do. They charged us for the full visit of $206. It did go through insurance and sure enough it should have been $50. I do hope that I get back the $156 they overcharged us. But what a pain it is for me to chase after the overpayment. As of now, I have not been refunded the overcharge. I do hope I will get the overcharge back. I told him to go to his doctor from now on or an urgent care that honors insurance. I would rather use the ER than deal with this place again. Should have walked out and gone to patient first. Live and learn.

Dr. Fletcher does not wear a mask, offered to shake my hand, and I had to ask her to stand away from me. She volunteered that she currently takes Hydroxychloroquine (which she says is proven to work against COVID-19 in studies) and that she would prescribe it to my daughter once she gets COVID-19. Dr. Fletcher told me that 70 percent of us will get COVID-19 and that it would be better to get it over the summer, even for me, an asthmatic. She also gave my daughter a sheet of recommended vitamins, herbs, and supplements to take which include elderberry among other things. Dr. Fletcher's approach and advice is in direct contrast to that of the CDC. And I believe she is a danger to the public in advising people to actively get a disease that spreads so easily and has killed so many. I personally thought she was a f***ing kook and I told her so.

When I called to inquire about walk-in availability, the male receptionist who answered sounded as if he was half-asleep and was very difficult to understand. I genuinely could not make out what he was saying, so I politely asked him to repeat himself. Instead of clarifying, he responded in a blunt and dismissive tone. The whole interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. To top it off, right as I was wrapping up the call and saying "okay thank you," he hung up on me before I even finished my sentence. That lack of basic courtesy left a really negative impression. Again, I have no complaints about the doctors or the actual care, but the attitude of the person answering the phones makes a huge difference in how patients perceive the office. First impressions matter, and this one was disappointing.

I have been a patient at LSFP for 25 years. This practice is a shadow of what it once was. The…read moredecline has been gradual, but steady, and has reached a point where I can't recommend avoiding this practice enough. Appointments now consist of basic questions and exams that barely touch the service of issues. My last physical didn't even include a hernia exam, and I'm a 39 year old male with a history of hernias. The nurse practitioners they have on staff are under-qualified at best. The front desk staff are rude, and the intake nurses are also unprofessional. This practice has lost any idea of what customer service means and seems to now be an appointment mill that bills your insurance for telling you to buy some Motrin and get some bed rest. Today was the last straw for us. My wife recently gave birth naturally and our OBGYN recommended we see our PCP for a referral for physical therapy for a month from now to help get her back on her feet and speed her recovery. We called and scheduled an appointment for this specific purpose with the front desk who confirmed that they could give a referral for PT. After waiting for an hour, my wife was seen by a family nurse practitioner that took her temperature and blood pressure, checked her height and weight, eyes and ears, and listened to her breathing. Then, without any examination of her pelvic floor muscles, said that PT 'wasn't indicated' at this time and we should come back for another appointment after our 6 week checkup with our OBGYN for ANOTHER appointment. She explained that we had been sent by the OBGYN to get a referral but the FNP refused to issue the referral and sent her packing. I went in to address this with the front desk and they gave me the run-around, then brought out a 'provider' who first said she had seen my wife but after having me explain the whole situation told me she was just the intake nurse, then asked me to re-explain the situation, then laughed when I said I didn't want to explain myself again and wanted to talk to the actual nurse that had seen my wife. All in all it was a nice hour and fifteen minutes absolutely wasted by the front desk and clinical staff because of their inability to listen and/or be upfront about what services they are willing and able to provide. To LSFP - if you can not or will not offer a service then perhaps your front desk staff shouldn't confirm the appointment for it. Your practice used to be great, and now it is a terrible place to go for care and competent customer service. I've had better customer service at McDonald's. Your front desk staff especially leaves a lot to be desired in the professionalism department. 25 years as a patient and I have never been treated the way I was treated today. We won't be back. Get it together.
