He listens to his patients and is very empathetic. He truly cares for his patients. When I first…read moremet him, he had read my medical history, but he wanted to hear my story. My husband and I met Dr. Potolicchio almost 15 years ago, after having seizures for 38 years. After extensive testing, I had my brain surgery. I have been seizures free for over 14 years. He changed my life.

Being a good doctor is a collaborative affair between him and his practice. Doctor Potollicio has…read moreover forty years of experience. I knew him in the mid point of his career when he saw my wife for a seizure disorder. He outright cured her through dogged determination. She was referred to him when he was at Georgetown University Hospital after many other failed attempts at diagnosis. The difference was the collaborative approach between he and the hospital where he served both as a teaching professor and neurological specialist. He was a top doctor then at the top of his form. The hospital did not rush him and he took advantage to serve his patients based on need. He went on to transfer to George Washington Hospital. Though his tenure was exemplary there he suffered from the rigours of the timeclock manner of appointments. After he left GW I understand he has set up his own practice. I trust that he has the same deliberative, thoughtful and insightful approach that I saw in him years ago. ....CEB

Dr. Hashemi has treated my peripheral nerve injuries following my motor vehicle accident in 2013…read more He is always caring, compassionate and knowledgeable. He is respectful and spends much time evaluating and explaining everything we discuss. His team is attentive and considerate. I have had multiple surgical and non surgical interventions by other doctors as well as Dr Hashemi. I think Dr Hashemi has been the most thorough and knowledgeable. He brings research and experience to each discussion and interaction. In my opinion, he is one of the best hand and nerve surgeons I have ever encountered. As a nurse, having worked in emergency and orthopedic clinical roles, his manner and expertise are beyond any others I have worked with. Highly recommended.

Few months go buy then there loud music playing. Assuming someone complained about the wait in silence. My mother n law came with me and she was annoyed by this as well. Then he failed to add a drain after surgery leading to another surgery a week later to then drain the fluid and put a drain. Pushing me out of work for 8 not 4 weeks as promised. Always spoke quietly using medical terminology. I was paying out of pocket 415 for 15 minutes only to discover he was still billing my insurance. Can we say fraud!!! He harassed me repeatedly for days, personally sending me threatening emails over $300 when I caught on to his scam. And just to think I almost let him convince me that i needed another surgery. I've found a new Dr who says the surgery he wanted to do on me was unnecessary and not even my issue. . Save yourself. I wish I would have read the reviews before I went. And he was as referred to me by my spinal surgeon whom I adore. I told him not to send anyone else to this guy. Hopefully he didn't. If I could give No stars I would

Please be advised: he is evaluating you as a whole, so he will make suggestions about your diet and supplemental vitamins to take, as those things can assist you on your health journey, along with any medication prescribed or in office procedure. If you try the regimen, and it needs any adjustments, feel free to tell him about your progress, and he will make the necessary adjustments. Hope this helps!

I saw Dr Tsai today and hopefully will not ever have to see him again. I told him I was i excruciating pain after waiting 5 months to see a Physiatriast and also doing a ton of physical therapy which was a failure, he just printed out a list of vitamins to take for SEVERE NECK PAIN, told me to stop taking the only inflammation medicine that helps me when I am flared up, and told me to go back to physical therapy, after physical therapy told me they think I have nerve damage. VITAMINS FOR NERVE DAMAGE? Oh he also told me I am getting headaches from the medicine that helps me (which I was having these headaches before I even started this medicine) AND THEN he had the audacity to say "I believe you" and made comments about my pain possibly just being psychological. Please do not see this provider especially if you're waiting months to get an appointment. Go anywhere else. I told him when I had a different diet when I was in Europe most of my symptoms were better and he told me it was because on vacation people feel happier. I can not stand doctors who don't even try. I told him my quality of life is so low because of my pain and wanted to brainstorm options of what could be happening and he tells me to take vitamins. What an embarrassment. Im going to contest this even being charged by my insurance. I have endured severe physical injuries that were not resolved at the time or treated and now I'm being told it's all in my head? My physical therapist and neurologist and primary care have alleged this could be nerve pain and I wanted his opinion. I'm met with "take vitamins"? Avoid this man and anyone else who gaslights you into thinking everything is all in your head.
