A high quality Italian restaurant. Excellent food with friendly and efficient service. It has a comfy warm atmosphere and ambiance. A great place to bring the whole family.

Our waitress was friendly and the service was great! The ambiance is good and looked very clean. Some of the food was good. Some of it was just a bit underwhelming. The fresh fried mozzarella has "spicy vodka sauce" on top, but there wasn't much of it, and it didn't taste like much of anything. I tried their home made spinach ravioli and they were just kind of bland, however the walnut cream sauce the ravioli was served with was tasty! The free tomato bread topped in sauce was probably my favorite though.

Well to tell you the truth we were disappointed. It looked to be a popular restaurant but the culinary experience wasn't that great. There was confusion about seating to start. But once seated our waitress brought us complimentary pizza pieces. It was more biscotti. Stale and hard. I ordered a house salad which came out looking like it should have been from a diner not a fine dining restaurant. And the pizza was just so so. The pasta dish flavor was mediocre but worse was the pasta was over cooked which I consider a Nono. So yeah it was gonna be just a one time visit. I try to write at least some positive things but sorry not here.

I just asked the waitress what she recommended and this was bomb!!!

OK, we're from California and we are total foodies. This is probably one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever eaten at! proportions are huge. All of the sauce and marinara are delicious. Even their signature house dressing is to die for.!! All the servers are great and on point asking if you needed to box up food or grab checks, making sure you never waited for anything! Water always full! I give this place a 20 out of 10!! Absolute fire! I just told the waitress I want it really good fruity wine and she delivered on point! My husband got some sort of margarita drink and it was absolutely delicious. Brittney was our server and she is just adorable and honestly super good server.! I paid $132 for dinner, two appetizers, two entrées, four drinks! And we still have enough food for lunch tomorrow!

I've been wanting to visit Lorenzo's Southside for a long time, and let me just say, it absolutely lived up to the hype! I visited on a Saturday evening around 7:30pm and figured there would be a wait, but fortunately, the place is massive, and we were seated inside right away. There are ample places to sit, including on their covered porch, expansive indoor and outdoor bar, as well as inside. Our server came over to greet us and take our drink order. They have a lot of different wines, cocktails, and craft beers to choose from. My boyfriend opted for the Italian Pilsner, which is a collaboration between the family who owns the restaurant and Artisinal Brew Works in Saratoga Springs. He said it was good! For our entrees, we shared the Americana Pizza, which was fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, pepperoni, and Mike's Hot Honey drizzle. It was incredible! So fresh tasting and the pepperoni were delicious. We also split the Stracciatella Pasta, which was homemade garganelli pasta with vodka sauce, grilled chicken, and stracciatella cheese. I could eat this for the rest of my life - it was unbelievable! It's so creamy and delicious. I noticed they offer a dessert pizza, so of course, I had to try it! It came with Nutella, berries, and powdered sugar. It was fantastic! Overall, our experience was A+ from start to finish. The waitress was so attentive, and the food was incredible. I will absolutely be visiting again soon!

We made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner and were seated right as we arrived. They have a great patio and outdoor bar, but we sat inside at a comfortable booth. Service right from the start was excellent and friendly. We shared a Neapolitan pizza as our starter, absolutely perfect way to kick off the meal. For our entrees we had the Chicken Parmigiana and Veal Milanese. Both generous portions served with pasta and a salad. We were stuffed, but after tasting such delicious food we had to try dessert. We took home a cannoli and Italian rainbow cake. Truly appreciated how nicely our server wrapped up our leftovers and dessert. We already can't wait to return.

Great food, service and ambiance! Waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable about the food. Complimentary bread and butter was delicious. The meals that came with salad came with a whole container of their homemade Italian dressing that you could take home with you! It was delicious. Chicken parm and pizza were both cooked to perfection and super flavorful. Drinks were delightful and reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back!

Expensive and food inconsistent. Do not recommend as a destination restaurant. If it's convenient, then it's ok.

So I went on a Sunday afternoon during the middle of an event in the mall next door. I know there…read moreare very few places to eat in the mall... only a Chinese takeout place... so I expected a lot of the vendors/exhibitors in the mall would wander over here for lunch. When I went in, there were probably 15-20 people sitting at 4-5 tables and another elderly couple in line waiting to be seated. They had one waitress/hostess for the whole restaurant, and it was her job to seat people, take their orders, get their food, ring them up, and handle any people who wanted to grab slices from the counter. She was completely slammed, but never once lost her temper. The "manager" came out once to tell tell the waitress that she had to call a customer back because they were out of something. Then, I watched the manager retreat back to his hole and just stand around. At the same time, the waitress was literally helping 25+ customers by the time I left. The manager should be ashamed of himself, and the waitress deserved all the tips she got. I forgot to mention the food! She recommended the eggplant/red pepper pizza and I ordered a slice. Once heated, it was good but not great. I imagine having it fresh out of the oven would have made a big difference. But, it was a good taste combination to remember for the future. There aren't a lot of food options near the mall and this place is just okay. The "Fresh" in the name is somewhat misleading in my opinion. Perhaps I came on a bad day, but it is what it is. It really deserves 2 stars but the waitress' attitude made me bump it up one.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I spent 50$ on dinner for my family tonight and ended up…read moreeating cold food because the delivery driver never called. He just left my food on the porch in 35 degree weather and I didn't notice until 40minutes later when I was wondering why the food hasn't came yet. The manager isn't doing anything about it even though I sent proof that I did not get a phone call. We were regular customers but they just lost us and I csn not recommend them to anyone. Especially because most people order food and want HOT fresh food, not food that was sitting in the cold for almost an hour. Employees and manager, both rude.

Since this internet reviewing service was initiated, people tend to disparage something or someone…read morejust because they disagree with or don't like someone and their product. These reviews of Bottisti's are a case in point. As we residents of Amsterdam know well, there are many ways to prepare pizza. Some like crispy crusts with a lot of sauce, some like their pizza thick and "bready" with less sauce , and so forth. From what I've read in these reviews, what is being presented are the reviewers' likes and dislikes for a particular style of pizza. Bottisti's chooses to make pizza in a certain way, which is to my liking. Other pizza places in town make pizza in a different way, so I don't tend to buy from them. If you are from Amsterdam, you know who makes the kind of pizza you like. What is so nice about living here is that we have these many choices. So, please, be careful in your denunciations of the eateries, not just here in Amsterdam, but in other places as well. They have established a style of food preparation that is enjoyable to some, but not to others. It is okay to say that a particular restaurant's food is not to your liking, but don't use words like "garbage" and the like in these reviews. It is not helpful to me or others trying to find a restaurant to our liking. Say why you dislike the food and why a certain preparation does not appeal to you. In that way, we readers can make a more informed decision. By the way, my wife and I like Bottisti's pizza because we like the thinner crust and their particular way of making sauce and its flavor (the combination of seasonings is to our liking). At one time Bottisti's bottled their sauce, and we readily purchased it. Go to Bottisti's once to try their pizza - if you like it, you'll keep coming back, like us. If you don't like it, you can always go to one of our other fine pizza parlors. They are all good, in their own way of preparation. If these places were't good, the discerning "pizza people" of Amsterdam would not patronize them, and they would fail.

Favorable score for it being a nostalgic pizza but it quite expensive, we paid $100 for 3 pizzas,…read morewhich are generally a bit undercooked and with a flavorless crust, plus this time we were told it would be a 65 min wait for pickup which then ended up being 95 minutes without so much as an apology or discount.

There were trains outside the window and a kid's menu for him; there were sit down tables and a limited dinner Italian menu for the wife; and there were trains, college football on all the TVs, and the menu for me. Score! I had their veal parm. (with light sauce) and it was absolutely fantastic. Cooked perfectly, flavorful, not tough at all, and the sauce in its limited capacity was very nice. My wife had some pasta/eggplant dish and she seemed to enjoy it though she had the regular amount of sauce and it pooled with a lot of water on the bottom of the plate. Not as nice. Our son's "chicken fingers and fries" turned out to be two separate plates: one with a huge amount of fries, and one with breaded chicken cutlets cut into strips. Apparently, that is how they make "chicken fingers" now. He wasn't really into that, but man let me tell you they were great! I know only kids can order this but PLEASE tell me that adults can get this too. They were so much better than frozen, breaded chicken fingers. I'm calling my shot here: the next time I am here I am going to order Buffalo wing sauce on those chopped up chicken cutlet strips and create a NEW variation of boneless chicken wings!

Not bad, an interesting idea. Jughead ordered a burger as usual, another ordered the ravioli, chicken parm and for me the drunken chicken. Everything was decent, but lacked a lot of seasoning, especially salt. I'd try it again but am skeptical.
