I cant believe I haven't reviewed riverside yet. This by far is my favorite pizza place in amsterdam. If you live in amsterdam you know you have a lot of pizza to choose from. If you haven't tried their pizza yet, give it a shot. It is rare that we get pizza from any other spot. They are just take out or delivery. No eat in and no slices to go. They do have a place to wait and a tv if your order isn't quite ready yet. We are regulars here so the staff is always nice to us. I could see on a 90 degree day in the summer if they seem a little grumpy. It is HOT in there. Keep up the good work. read more

I've only ever had good experiences here. This is the pizza place of choice for the Amsterdam Fire Department whenever I've been around, and I think probably for good reason. The pizzas are huge; some of the biggest I've seen from a local restaurant. The crust tastes delicious (I guess because it's hand tossed, but I can't say for sure), and even just plain cheese tastes almost like a specialty pizza. We've rarely ordered from here personally, but only because we have our own rotation of pizza places, and in a large group, change is tough. I'm going to try to slip this place in every now and then in the future, and I'd generally recommend them if you're looking for a good place in the area. read more

This pizza is literally the best reason to go to Amsterdam. Outside of the wonderful walking bridge that should have an exit for RiverSide Pizza. My mom and dad understand when I'm home it's for pizza and wings from Riverside. They get it, they order from there too. They didn't realize I was gone for 5 years because they could get the best evenly spaced pepperoni pizza in all of upstate. 4 per slice it is PERFECTION. It's how I learned to count. Best pizza in the county! Crust= hand tossed, chewy and cooked to perfection. Sauce= Slightly bitter but just enough, plenty of tomato taste here. Cheese= they don't cheat you on cheese. Good quality mozzarella and plenty of it. Get a square cut large pizza here, it is a great buy. read more

We stopped here on our way on 90. We were treated like an inconvenience when we ordered our food. The slice of cheese pizza we got was thick and doughy like a gas station slice. While we waited we saw one person after another get treated poorly. An elderly lady was snapped at for asking a question. Unacceptable. Best pizza in Amsterdam! Prices are reasonable and pickup is always easy. Pizza has lots flavor and the wings are outstanding never fatty or small! I suggested calling earlier then later cause they are always busy Thursday thru Sunday and you might have a long wait or get a busy tone if you call at prime time! read more

Excellent pizza! Crust: chewy with crisp exterior on bottom and edge, some medium bubbles. Sauce: savory and flavorfuln crushed tomato consistency, generously applied but not soggy. Cheese: salty and cooked to a perfectly golden brown cheetah print pattern. Toppings: generous, veggies are fresh, even mushrooms. Service: efficient.
