Very friendly staff, good food, excellent portions and reasonably priced. Separate dining area from bar area family friendly.

I love the Brick Oven Pizza! The Meatballs are also fantastic. Love seeing the live bands come around too.

A total great experience!!…read more Welcomed upon arrival and seated promptly with a reservation (suggested). Welcoming decor and staff was friendly throughout visit. The food! Meatball appetizer, big and rich in flavor with meatballs not too soft or hard. Great with warm bread that was provided. Main course was beyond big and easily two meals on each platting. Chicken parm was tender and nicely seasoned with pasta side. I had a special of peppers and onions in a spicy red sauce with crumbled sausage and bucatini as the pasta. It was cooked well and had a nice warm spice, but not over powering heat, easily two meals. Drink prices were market priced with a wine $ 8.00 for a good pour. Server was personable and attentive throughout our visit. It would appear the kitchen is small and staffed accordingly. I hear they limit take out orders when very busy and best to call ahead for complete info on a weekend. Overall great experience and will visit again.

It's a big open room with a moderately sized and full-service bar. The food is well-made traditional Italian with generous portions. We've tried a lot of the menu and haven't been disappointed. The meatballs are great. The wait staff are attentive, conscientious and clearly care about your experience. This is a family place, but dress appropriately and only bring your kids if they're well behaved. This isn't a place for unruly toddlers or crying babies. Make a reservation a few days in advance and show up 15-20 minutes early. You'll be happy you did and happy you came here.

Also they have parking in back (easier) or across the street. Sat at bar w/ Bartender Brian & many locals & regulars. All super friendly. Nice large bar area & lots of dining space. Heard lots of stories on the original family who started this business & the new owner. There's a picture of them by the bar. 5/5 House Salad Bleu Cheese Dressing, if I knew it would be so crisp & the homemade dressing so delish I would have ordered it as an entree! Next time. 4/5 Steak Pizzaiola, NY Strip medium covered in onion, marinara, cheese & side of spaghetti! I didn't care for the onions & steak was good, but a little chewy. Sauce is absolutely amazing! Wish they sold it! 5/5 Pasta Fazool, soup special & fan amongst the regulars. 5/5 Turkey Club, huge! Many recommended the Manicotti, Baked Ziti & Lasagna. All sharable! 2/5 Tiramisu not at all traditional! Basically just a piece of cake. Definitely recommend this Italian joint. We will be back!

Ava just…read morehappens to be the daughter of the owners and exemplified exceptional service with a great smile and personality. We started with a Blood Orange Martini and a vodka drinks. We ordered the Arugula Roasted Beet salad. The arugula was super fresh and good, however, it overpowered the beets which were thin and underrepresented. We also enjoyed a shrimp cocktail which was very good. For mains we had the roasted duck breast and the braised short ribs. The duck breast was a bit more well done than we normally have preferred, but was delicious, tender and moist. The short ribs were melt-in-your mouth perfect. We both accompanied the mains with a glass of red wine (one of the Hout-Plaisance and one of the Pessac Leognan). For desert we tried the carrot cake and the peanut butter pie. The carrot cake was good but the peanut butter pie was heavenly. In all a very well prepared dinner. However, we expected more creativity from the chef compared to other meals we have enjoyed in the region. Pricing was on the high side.

I said you browse; I'll stand out here in the shade. Then I spied the sign for Chateau on the Lake, which said they were open for Happy Hour between 2:00pm and 5:00pm. So, I sauntered down Allens Alley towards the Chateau. Place was empty, except for the bartender. I announced I was here for Happy Hour, but was informed it's not really a Happy Hour, it's just that bar is open for business. Okay, I'll have a Heineken ($8). Then I went out back, sat in the shade, enjoyed my beer, looked at beautiful Lake George, and waited for the wife to call and say she was done browsing.
