Pizza perfection! THIS is the pizza I grew up with. The old school way. Everything made from scratch. YUM! I am going to need an account just for this place. And more exercise gear! It was on my to do list, to try this place out. Living in the states so long, finding amazing pizza in the land of tacos where I was, was tough. Lorenzo's nailed everything for me. Quality cheese ON TOP of the fresh ingredients! Great dough, zippy sauce, great toppings. I got a combo, great choice. But why, did I order a small??? Not enough. It's the type of pizza that reheats well. I had amazing service and when they knew it was my time in, they threw in 2 Garlic aoili sauces. I tried it but I'm just not a mayo person. I do love garlic though! The pizza to me, just didn't need a thing. Perfectly cooked. Needless to say, I'm in love with it and I've already raved about it to others. Haven't been back here in 15 years, had it everyday in middle school and where I fell in love with Pizza. Recently visited whilst back in town on Vacation with my wife and kids. felt very welcomed walking through the doors at 11am ordering a custom pizza. I would like to take the time to really praise this location. They deserve a big shout out and I can't say enough great things about them. I had a really great experience overall with this restaurant. Initially, we had a hiccup with our order. Not only was this resteraunt so quick and attentive to a customer reaching out, they went above and beyond to make it up to us and have us happy and feeling like valued customers. I really have to praise this level of customer service and care for customers. You don't always encounter that with some resteraunts in my past experience, so it was such a pleasant surprise. A big shout out to Younis and his team for working hard and being dedicated to what they do and serving their customers. We loved the food and service. The pizza's come with good fresh toppings and a good helping of cheese! Delivery was quick as well. We will definitely be repeat customers as we feel we found our new pizza place! This place is unassuming. It's in a little strip mall at the corner of Castlefrank and Abbeyhill Dr. in Kanata. We happened upon this place by accident. We are of the big pizza chains in Ottawa and were looking for good pizza in our area, a simple Google search and all signs pointed to Lorenzo's. This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. The dough was cooked to perfection, the sauce had flavour, the ingredients were abundant and fresh, there was a lot of cheese. It was an incredible pizza! This will be our new go-to spot for our Friday night family pizza nights! Also, the restaurant is very COVID conscious. They set up plastic sheet barriers between the kitchen and customers, the chefs wear masks, and the debit machine is disinfected after each use. Keep up the good job guys! read more

Let me begin by saying this may be the best pizza in Kanata -- I've tried them all, and only Tommy's Restaurant comes close. For me, it's all about the dough and the sauce, sometimes the cheese, but you can usually tell when things are homemade, and this is authentic, and they are ALWAYS busy. However, the only reason I failed to credit them 5 stars is due to a recent order of an all-dressed pizza which included 3 unnecessary green olive pits -- not fun to bite into... if the owner happens to read this, you need to reconsider your olive supplier... no one, particularly a child, should be put at risk of choking or dental work. **UPDATE** The owner reached out to me within a day and informed me that he had disposed of the olives, and contacted the supplier to cancel the product. At least one other complaint had been reported for this, so he took immediate action. He said they rinse the sliced olives and make an effort to sift for pits, but this batch/supplier had been particularly poor, so they'll be more vigilant and source them elsewhere. read more

I love the walk in pizza deals where a medium pepperoni pizza is $9.99 and a large pepperoni pizza is $12.99 but I also love the poutine from here which is so good that it is like eating heaven and the price isn't so bad either like a small is$5.99 and a large is $7.99 but I have to admit that there garlic cheese bread is quite tasty. I'm not going to lie I had a bad first experience with Lorenzos, I almost didnt go back, I made the mistake of ordering chicken on my pizza and it was... well Ive tasted rubber with a more enjoyable texture and flavor...ditch the processed chicken guys. BUT I gave them a second chance because they have a great rating and low and behold, my double bacon pepperoni pizza may have been one of the most glorious pies I have ever had the pleasure of devouring. crust is thick and perfectly cooked, bacon strips leave nothing to be desired in their thick crispy wonderfulness and oh so much cheese. this is the way pizza was meant to be made folks! read more

We have ordered pizza from this location many times and unless you are ordering a small, forget about having much cheese on anything larger. Most of the time (as I think only one time the medium we ordered actually had any cheese on it) there is hardly any. They use shredded, which I am sure most places do, and you could see each piece of individual shredded cheese with the sauce being the main "topping" on the top of the pizza. I mean I know too much cheese isn't good for you and that it can be expensive, but when you order a pizza you aren't thinking about things like that and you expect a reasonable amount of cheese on it, not scattered in spots here and there.
