Is it cheap, even for a small? No. nothing is anymore but the quality is there. Th crust is fresh, plenty of sauce, quality toppings. I veer to the combo often as it is what I grew up with. (mushroom, pepp, green pepper) I have had pizza all over the world. Ottawa has the best but that's just my opinion, my taste.

The place is bigger on the inside than I expected, bright and clean. And it smelled great, starting outside! So inviting.., However, their version of a special is to add extra pizza, and/or drinks, and/or chicken wings, etc. We were looking for a once-off single pizza (after all, I'm trying to watch my food intake, not blow it all to hell for good!) The clerk was not very accommodating, and seemed befuddled by our request for a special on the price. We will wait until another time to try Jo-Jos pizza - like when we have a big group to feed. Points today were for the potential of the place, based on the wonderful aroma and how bright and clean it was. Will update this review if and when we come back. Oh, and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for advertising coupons!!

We had the online supervisor look into it but the store relayed that this is the normal amount of meat and we should have hit the add more meat button. Really? It's definitely a popular place for breakfast and we were surprised to see that many tables already taken up so early in the morning. The booths are separated by the plexiglass/plastic dividers. My husband already knew he was going to get the meat lover pizza frittata. It was a 6" breakfast pizza with bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, and a hollandaise sauce base instead of tomato sauce. It also came with home fries and fresh fruit. The pizza was just as expected, very filling, and he ate most but not all of it. I wasn't super hungry, so I got the sunrise special, which comes with one egg, homefries, toast, and choice of three slices of bacon, three sausage links, or two slices of ham. I got my egg poached medium with sausage and rye toast. It was $11.50, which I found to be a little high for only one egg and no fruit, so maybe it's a bit cheaper at other places, but not a big deal. I was happy that the egg was actually poached rather than the time I had a sort of steamed egg at a Gabriel's years and years ago. It was a nice medium, two slices of rye toast were lightly toasted and buttered, sausage was great and there were plenty of crispy home fries. I also had a hot water with lemon and shared the little fruit bowl that my husband got with his meal. No complaints, though the folks in the booth in front of us had plenty, not about the food or service, but about other people haha. It seemed like there was a certain demographic at that time of day, possibly regulars, and plenty of hot gossip to go around. Made for an unexpected, very entertaining morning!

TLDR: Usual chain restaurant pizza if you just get regular pizza. Their specialty is Indian-fusion…read morepizzas. Their schtick is sesame seed crust, but you can ask for no sesame seeds. Not sure why the reviews are so bad. It's a pizza chain, on par with the likes of Domino's and Little Caesars. For what it is, it's good. I do like that it's a Canadian chain (from Saskatchewan). Red Swan is a bit more unique since it's known for its Indian-fusion pizzas. Their Butter Chicken pizza is amazing. I haven't had it at this location, but I've had it at other locations. I'd say their Indian-fusion pizzas are what sets them apart from the rest. Their regular pizzas are unremarkable (which is not a bad thing, just nothing too special), oh other than their sesame-seeded crust schtick. That being said, I got their Hawaiian pizza because it was BOGO on UberEats ($10.99) for a personal sized pizza and I like Hawaiian pizza (#TeamPineappleonPizza). This location dices their ham instead of slicing their ham like the other Kanata location near the Centrum. They bake their pizza a little more well-done and their pizza is a bit saucier. Nonetheless it was still good. I asked for no sesame seeds on the crust and I only found one rogue sesame seed on one of the pizzas, which for me was fine, since I can handle mild contamination, but I would not recommend for those with severe allergies. I ordered on the UberEats app and picked up. Service was neutral. There are a few seats to eat in, but it's mostly a takeout joint, so that's the ambience, lol. Lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. (47)
