Delicious food and awesome service. We went with a party of 16. They accommodated us very well. It was a Sat evening, so the place is packed. Food came out hot and fresh. The table had a variety of foods of salads, pizzas, pastas and appetizers. The chicken and ahrimp portions are huge!!! Wonderful place for groups or just a date. Nice wine and beer selection.

Last night, we had a reservation for a group of friends (6 couples). We were sat in the lower area that was ready when we arrived at 5. We ordered our meal with separate checks for each of the couples. Cassandra was our server who took our drink order and brought the beverages, gave us time to look at the menu and later she came to take our food order. Once she placed the order with the kitchen, she brought baskets of their freshly baked bread, what a treat with some olive oil! My wife ordered their bean Insalata di Lusso and I ordered the Aglio e Olio Linguine that was plenty and delicious. The busser assisting Cassandra was on top of the service, refilling iced water and tea, retrieving empty dishes and bringing more bread baskets. The service and the food were outstanding. Surprising, the checks did not have a gratuity included, which is nice for customers to write it down as we pleased. It was my first time there and I will definitely will recommend it and I will be back. By the way, they sell bottles of their marinara sauce.

This was our second hear to visit Lorenzo's to carb up before the Bataan Death March out at White Sands Missle Range. The service was excellent and each of us enjoyed our dish! We will be back next year .

Raviolis

A few years ago I found this little gem. I immediately fell in love with the lobster ravioli. Unfortunately they discontinued them a few years back but they still offer plenty of other phenomenal dishes. I always buy the sauce to take home. I live 4 hours away but when I crave Lorenzo's, I will drive here because every time it has been worth it! The warm bread is so good.

This was my first visit to Lorenzo's even though I have driven by it many many times. We had a wonderful waiter. "Feddie" He said like Fettuccine! He gave us lots of time to contemplate what we wanted to try, he gave us some suggestions and let us taste the homemade bread -- yum. With a side of Pesto! I ordered the "Naples" tour that had spinach ravioli in a white sauce, Rotini noodles with their house marinara red sauce, and fettuccine carbonara . Each pasta and their sauces were exceptional! It came with either a choice of soups or a salad, that I upgraded with meats and cheeses and a house Italian dressing. The salad was fabulous also. My friend got a combination of stuffed pastas, a mushroom ravioli, a cheese tortellini and one other ( I forgot-but it was good!) - all in their house white sauce. The restaurant has a good amount of patrons for early on a Monday evening. The decor was pleasing and it was an average size. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I'm anxious to go back and try some of their other dishes!

This dinner was a 12/10. Wine was amazing and well priced. The pastas were to die for. The bread is homemade and delicious. We had great service and enjoyed the cozy ambiance in our stop in Las Cruces. We will definitely come back!

I left this restaurant a poor review on Google due to the bad service that I received and the fact that one of their workers was being forced to work instead of taking his school exam. The reason for the review was to alert the owner of the situation, and I would have happily taken the review down once I was comfortable that the owner had seen and acknowledged my poor experience, and hopefully done right by the server who had to skip an exam to serve pasta. Instead of simply apologizing, the owner decided to post a half hearted apology and proceed to call me a liar about my experience. As if I don't have better things to do than lie about a one off experience at a restaurant that's in a city that I do not even live. So now, instead of having the review taken down, the owner has earned another bad review on a different site. I am also attaching my original review as a photo so that people can see what my experience actually was. Thank you.

Fettuccine with Chicken and Broccoli

When you see line forming before the restaurant opens, it's a very good sign. Service was little slow, but they had a crowd of about 30 enter all at the same time so it was understandable. Their bread basket we started with was so yummy. Perfect texture, flavor and crunch! We tried their combo pizza, which was loaded with toppings and chewy crust. The dough was thick so this was very filling. The fettuccine with chicken and broccoli was also very good. All the entrees had big portion size, so everyone had leftovers. Highly recommend!!

Chicken fettucine, cheese tortellini, and meatballs and spaghetti

We were carb loading for the Dead Running Half Marathon, and we were so happy to stop by here. The service from everyone we interacted with was very pleasant both on the phone and in person. There was ample food, and it was GOOD food! The chicken on my fettucine was huge and not overcooked. My husband took some of his yummy tortellini home, and my friend really enjoyed those meatballs. They are a little sweet, and she said her pasta sauce was not too tangy (I don't eat red sauce because I'm worried that it'll be too sour for me).

Warm basket of bread.

Quick service and great food! Portions were good and great price for lunch. The warm bread that was brought before our meal was to die for!!

They also have a great selection of ice cold local beer, which makes it even better. The service is always friendly and welcoming. Even when they are busy on the weekends, the staff does a great job keeping things moving. During the weekdays, it is much more relaxed and not too crowded, which makes it a great spot to sit and enjoy your meal. The booths could definitely use some updating, but the quality of the pizza and the excellent service more than make up for it. If you are in Las Cruces and want solid pizza with a laid-back vibe, NYP Slice House is worth a visit. My only suggestion is instead of charging for ranch dressing, build that into the cost of your pizzas and customers will never know the difference and they'll be grateful thinking the condiments are free!

At 10:30am, before they even opened, I prescheduled my order for 12pm. 20 minutes before my pickup…read moretime, I got a text saying my order has been rescheduled for 12:40. I go at 12:30 and try explaining to the lady at the counter, I don't know her name but she had long braids and glasses as was rude in the micro aggressive ways while still pretending to be polite. I guarantee that every rude behavior I list here, she will have some dumb excuse for. She interrupted me while I was asking about why my order was delayed and said "I just need a name." Didn't even acknowledge what I was saying. I asked again why it was delayed, and she wouldn't even look at me while she talked about some nonsense about how they add 19 minutes to the time. That's what I gathered from what she was mumbling, and that doesn't make a lot of sense to you or me. I restated that I scheduled my order and asked her to explain why it was 40 minutes delayed, and she said that they got 6 tickets at the same time so they had to add time to every ticket. This also doesn't make sense- because I ordered before they even opened. Unless 6 tickets were placed at 10:30am, then I think she's full of crap. Never offered even a lame excuse for an apology; not once, not for anything. I don't even care about the longer wait time as much as the rude behavior. I want to support small local businesses and am willing to restructure my errands to accommodate their needs- but at least be kind? I've worked in the service industry for the better part of 10 years. I've worked with people like her and the sour attitude that working with customers can foster. I hope she has a better rest of her day and can find joy in her work, and positively impact the rest of NYPs customer base instead of this "f the customer" attitude that just seeped out of her. Either way, I won't be back to find out.
