This was the perfect to set the mood of the holiday seasons. The backyard is heated and it is the perfect place for groups, place to start off the night or just enjoying Lower East Side. I have seen this places being decorated for fall and Halloween so I am glad I finally got to try it. I had the Rudolph ornament ($22) and my partner had their Cider Espresso Martini ($22), they have many variations of the Espresso Martini. The drinks were good but I really couldn't wrap my head on the price point. We chowed on the Chicken Schnitzel with Fries it was very good. Overall I love the holiday decoration. Not so much the prices and I actually wish they played Christmas music outside (they do play it inside.)

Super cute beer garden with fun holiday decor. They have fun seasonal cocktails like boozy hot chocolate, spiked eggnog, and a drink that came in a Christmas ornament. Standard pub fare was pretty satisfying. I liked the tater tots, curry sauce (in the currywurst), and fried ice cream. We walked in Thursday a little after 7 and they just had a table open up for 6, although the bar area was pretty crowded!

I enjoyed my experience at Loreley Beer Garden. Came here after a show with friends and sat outside under the heaters until they closed the patio at 11pm Saturday. We got a hot chocolate (which normally comes boozy but asked for no alcohol) and it was delicious! A cute place to sit and chat with friends. It was busy but there were still enough seats. Pro tip: I joined their WiFi which had you input an email, but later I got an email with a free beer/wine for the next visit

Love this place for holiday drinks. The decorations are so cute. The peppermint espresso martini was very strong but tasted very good. Service was good. Bathroom was disgusting.

Came here to catch up with my girlfriends but it was sweltering hot outside so we forgone the patio seating. Inside was equally as cute without the heat. Drinks: The rose spritz was refreshing and strong. The frozen rose was perfect on a hot day albeit too sweet for my liking. We followed up with a pitcher of sangria which was tasty. Food was fine, nothing to rave about. The pork schnitzel sandwich was crispy but lacked flavor. The fries were really crispy and tasty. The sausage platter was alright, could skip this. Yes it's pricey overall but you're paying for aesthetics and ambiance.

Visited this place yesterday and it was great! My friend made a reservation and we were seated immediately in the outside patio area which had heaters! It was great. The decorations were very festive and cute. The drinks were so delicious and the food was amazing! The schnitzel was our favorite as a collective so we ordered three lol! Would definitely visit again! Cupcakes were so delicious.

I came here for a friendsmas and the decorations definitely give holiday cheer. We had the buffalo wings and sliders and they were very good, loved the pretzel bread on the sliders. I was in the mood for something warm and the bourbon hot cider was perfect for this weather. It warmed me up. The staff was very attentive from the minute we sat down. We were also not rushed which was nice. Definitely recommend, I would get a reservation if you want to sit and eat

YES! If you're thinking of coming here, go now. Drinks were made perfectly. Food is, fresh and tasty. The servers treat you like you have been friends for years. However, it is a small space. Tables are close together and seating in the back garden you may share a table with another group. lt's very aesthetically pleasing great for photo ops.

Came in for the first time for their weekend brunch. Really tasty menu. A lot of brunch options along with regular lunch and German options. Chill spot with a laid back vibe. The service was great.

I stopped by Loreley German Beer Garden to check out their Espresso Martini Festival and had such a great time! I've been here about 3-4 different times. This time, I tried a few different martinis: the red velvet (my favorite by far), the Oreo, hazelnut with a Ferrero Rocher on top, and the s'mores espresso martini. They were all delicious, but the red velvet really stole the show, and the Oreo one was a lot of fun with the bits of Oreo mixed in. While enjoying the drinks, I snacked on the pork schnitzel and sausage platter, which definitely kept me full. The wings here are spectacular, and I don't say that much! I usually go for the buffalo, but I decided to try the BBQ wings, and they were just as delicious. The winter lodge was heated and made for a super cozy vibe perfect for hanging out with friends. The service was quick too! Definitely a spot I'd recommend!

Lorely's out door space is very pretty and flowery. The service was slow and it was not busy. Their frozen aperol spritz was perfect on a hot day. I had the eggs Benedict on potato pancakes and it was very good. I mainly went for the espresso martini but I did not enjoy the drink.

We came by for some drinks after lunch and it was so festive. Such a great spot to come during the holidays. I hear they decorate for all the seasons, but I came right after Christmas and it was so festive with all the decor. There's a number of Christmas bars in town, but this one seems the most chill as it's a beer garden. Maybe if you came before Christmas, it's a lot busier, but coming here between Christmas and NYE wasn't busy at all while also getting the festive decor. The seasonal cocktails were $20-25, which were decent for Manhattan although on the smaller side. I had the Boozy Black & White Hot Chocolate ($25), which was perfectly Instagrammable with the marshmallows, chocolate drizzle, and mini candy cane to top it off. The rest of my party had the draft beers, which everyone enjoyed as well. Unfortunately, they were out of many of the seasonal selections that we wanted though. It's a bit pricey and gimmicky, but it's all in the Christmas spirit. Cool spot to grab some drinks and hang with friends. It's your typical beer garden, but fun to bring guests for the holidays.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and there were plenty of seats in both the indoor and outdoor sections. Stop in early if you can! As a tourist, I would say this is a great spot to get that Christmas in NYC Instagram shot, but also a good spot for locals to bring a group and enjoy a beer with great service in a fun environment. Opted to sit outside where the garden is kept nice and warm. The inside is also festive and cozy! I believe they decorate for every season and you'd be surprised how large the space is looking in from the outside. Reasonable prices when you go for happy hour and opt for beer or wine as opposed to the somewhat gimmicky holiday-themed cocktails in ornaments. A place I will return to when I am in the neighborhood!

I am interested in coming here with friends during the holidays- do we need reservations ? Or can we walk in and be fine?…

Can I bring stroller aged children?

    Do they have non-achololic drinks?

Its a bar so I dont think recall seeing mock tails on the menu but I'm sure someone can whip up a Shirley temple for you by request

Are they still taking reservations or only walk ins?

I made a reservation for a large (12 people) party in mid-July 2021. Not sure about a couple of people coming in.

Since it's outdoors, is it dog friendly?

You have to walk through the inside to get to he outside so dogs are not really allowed. I have seen someone sneak in a dog before in a carrier. It was pretty packed so I am not sure anyone knew. It is not really a bring your dog place

I have a friend who is not of legal age to drink. Will she be allowed in?

Yes. We had two kids, 12 and 9.

Would you bring your family/children here to eat or is it mostly beer drinking/happy hour type crowd?

I saw all sorts when I visited. Tours and a family gathering too alongside some getting a drink.

He gave me a very large amount (much higher than marked price) and explained that you must take that away - they have to cover cost. So we purchased one beer, inserted in pocket, and ordered two drafts. Took a seat at the long table with benches - decorated well for the holidays, and looked through the menu. We weren't hungry, but we did inquire about the pimento cheese hot dog. Sadly, they were out of cheese. Maybe next time! Staff was friendly. Seems like a nice place to snuggle up and enjoy a chilly night. Later, my wife shared an IG feed that showed one of their sandwiches was a top 10 choice (#9). So lots of tasty looking things for next time.

Interestingly, it looks like you can reserve on either Resy or OpenTable? Also, there was a pescaterian in our party, and La Contenta's menu seemed to offer several meatless dishes which was also a point in their favor.  I walked in and found La Contenta to be cozy-sized with a bathroom to match. We were the only diners for a little while but then the space filled up. Our server was pleasant and checked on us regularly. She also offered options for things which I appreciated. We ordered the guacamole ($17) to start. As my main, I picked the chilaquiles verdes o rojos con huevo ($19) with chicken for a few extra bucks. The dishes were actually bigger than I expected, always a nice surprise in Manhattan. The chilaquiles were fantastic. Several of the entrees sounded delicious but I was content with the chilaquiles. There were a lot of customizations available for 'em: you could get tomatillo sauce instead of the chipotle-tomato red, you could add steak, your egg was cooked any way you wanted. Regarding beverages, some folks ordered cocktails and mocktails. They were beautiful to look at!
