Awesome selection of beer both on tap and their can/bottle selection. It's quite a big space with a lot of tables/booths for groups of different sizes. My partner and I got a couple of rounds while waiting for a nearby reservation and enjoyed each beer we tried - we plan on coming back soon to try more! Service was quick and friendly, and everything reasonably priced. If you're a beer aficionado, you've got to check it out!

This place is awesome! The service, the drinks, and the food were all great. Very reasonable prices, the bartenders are super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is really chill. I really like that they have a water station so that folk can pace themselves and stay hydrated. They welcome groups as well which is a plus. All in all, would definitely recommend and will be back!

I thought I came here for their Happy Hour deals but it was no where to be found until we asked the waitress. It was a very limited Happy Hour menu which included beer and shot combo, well drinks and selected draft beers. Food prices were decent. I ordered a margarita which came out to be $12, not bad but it was worst when it came out to be super sweet. My heir chicken tenders and fries basket were super fresh and nachos were mediocre. It tasted good while it was hot on the plate. Waitresses were talking about their personal business in front of customers and did not offer water to anyone. Typical bar in the west village if you want to pre-game or waiting for friends in the area. Only 1 bathroom available for each gender.

One of those great NYC bars with a superior beer list, Peculier is a must visit for professional barfly's and beer drinkers. Not too touristy for locals, not too local for tourists. I love this place! Great bartenders as well!

Look at that wall of spirits!!

My new favorite spot. The Bartenders are great, the selections are great, and the food is amazing. ( I love Ginger and Jen. ) It's hard to find a place in the city where they can do all three. They have such a homey and welcoming vibe. I'm not surprised that I find myself coming here every week to enjoy a nice drink and foods. I can't believe the amount of beer varieties they have as well as their wall of spirits. If I was in the mood for anything, they can accommodate.

Covid 19 update: Outdoor Seating only. Closes at 11pm (Saturday night) If you love beer and don't wanna travel the world(or all over NYC) , this is the spot to be! They have a great selection of local as well as international beers and a decent list of ciders. They've also got some local beers on tap. If all of this doesn't excite you, there's also a cocktail menu and an open bar. So basically if you drink , I'm sure you'll find something. They have outdoor seating only now because of Covid. But the inside looks pretty huge. Would definitely come back just to sit in one of those booths when it's finally allowed. Tried the Margarita Sour from the tap menu which was definitely very sour but something different . Also had the Swedish Pear Cider which had a funky initial smell but actually tasted pretty good! The price for most beers were in the 6-10$ range. Tried the Mojito and a Rose based cocktail( don't remember the name but was different and tasted great) . The cocktails are not too strong but for the $8 price tag, you get what you pay for. The staff was really sweet and helped us order some of the drinks. This is my new favorite spot and will definitely be back soon!

For the absolute love of G*d teach your bartenders to pour a Guinness. I'm not a Guinness snob, but at least teach them the basics.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

I found the hodgepodge of old-timey decor to be a bit kitsch, but to each their own. I came with a group on a weeknight with no reservation. We were seated immediately on a high wood table. Although the bar wasn't busy (there were plenty of empty spaces, small groups scattered throughout the area), the service was quite slow. The server was inattentive and took a while to take our orders. We had to ask her for water three times, searching for her across the room in an attempt to catch her attention. She was a bit absent during the two-ish hours we were there. On the bright side, the drinks were fairly good. I ordered this strawberry vodka cocktail topped with whole mint. I'm wary of vodka for its harsh, unpleasant taste, but I found this drink to actually be very pleasant, tasing like a fruit smoothie you'd get from a local juicer. There was also a burgundy drink served on a wine glass that tasted like the holidays. I liked that one quite a bit. Overall, Oscar Wilde was an okay experience. It's certainly a bar for a certain type of crowd, and the service was lacking, but maybe we went on a bad night. Maybe if you're lucky, you'll be served better than we were.

Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas.
