Fantastic coffee! Its refreshing to see baristas passionate about the coffee they are serving. The layout of the shop is a little cramped which made it difficult to fully relax. read more

Awesome Churros fresh and made to order! Can't bit that at all. My kids love it here and I'm glad we have it here in Stamford.

I like the cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and dedication to coffee making. I wish the place was a bit bigger though! Stamford needs 10 more coffee shops like this. I don't know what's wrong with this place! read more

What can I say about the coffee!! Amazing. This is the coffee which makes me get out of my bed, walk a mile! Lovely coffee, breakfast options and awesome staff. Love you Lorca read more

This is a great coffee shop. Everything from the normal coffee to the fancier pour over. I'm also a big fan of the beans they get from Counter Culture. Will update to 5 stars when they start sourcing and roasting there own beans! read more

Best coffee spot in Stamford for anyone who really cares what infused hot water they drink. If I want a better coffee, the only place I know of os down in the city. That's a little much for coffee...even for me. read more

I only give this place two stars because of the service I got today from the barista. I've been a couple of time before and really liked it but today the barista basically refused to make my coffee the way I like it - which is with one shot only. Apparently, their machine can only pull double shots so I asked why she just couldn't pour half out, I was told "we don't do that!". ie take it or leave it. I guess the "integrity" of the coffee-making is more important than giving the customer what they want. Interesting business model. She did, however, give me the extra milk I requested. Since there is a dearth of good coffee shops around here I'm sad to give this place a miss from now on. Thank goodness there is still Neat Espresso in Darien where what the customer wants still matters and the coffee is better. read more

Great cute spot for a quick grab or a sit in. Staff is friendly, coffee bar environment, great place to bring a laptop or ipad and do work. The drink menu is delicious. I recommend trying a panini. Each time I go I try and order something different. Definitely a hole in the wall spot. read more

Great coffee/espresso/capachino and tasty baked goods. Place can get a bit tight at times but not a big deal.

Amazing Churros. If you're looking for a quick snack in a cute, very hipster, vibed place, check out Lorca! Would definitely recommend!

This coffee shop is by far the best coffee shop in town... And maybe even my favorite coffee shop overall. Love their Nutella latte and their chocolate croissants. The manchego sage sandwich is also amazing. A little pricy.. But so worth it! read more

Nice place. There coffee was good, but Their pastries are extremely sweet. I tried the alfafores and the caramel in between was not good and it was cover witth alot of powder sugar! read more

I'm so happy to have such a wonderful local coffee shop in downtown Stamford! The service is always wonderful and the coffee is always interesting and new. I love how their espresso beans rotate! The lattes are delicious and the iced tea is the perfect pick me up. read more

Churros Churros Churros Churros! Leyla is wonderful and I'm happy to support her and her amazing little place.

This is such an amazing local coffee shop with quality food and great coffee. However make sure you have at least 25 minutes to wait if you order a breakfast sandwich. I've been here when it's crazy busy, dead, weekends and weekdays and it is always a long wait for food. The prices aren't cheap, so consistently slow service is disappointing. read more

A small gem of a coffee/tea house right in downtown Stamford. Been here quite a few times and their drinks are outstanding and freshly brewed. Churros are quite a treat with the different dipping sauces and a nice quiet atmosphere to hangout and even sit outside at one of their two tables. For the size and prices of the place, a true luxury here! read more

Lorca is my go to Coffee Shop. Anything other than a 5 star review isn't doing it justice. On a daily basis I will get the mocha which is amazing. Service and hospitality go hand in hand here and working in the restaurant business as a host and a runner is something to appreciate. read more

Best coffee shop around....oh yea and don't forget the Churros. Wish they had a few more seats but the coffee is SOLID.

I travel quite a bit and am always looking for great local places to grab coffee, avocado toast and work. This place was great, delicious food and beverages, service was quick and friendly! read more

Such a cute spot! It is absolutely adorable and the food and coffee are amazing. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the size. It is very small, but the service and churros definitely make up for it! read more

Delicious fresh food, friendly staff, great coffee and yummy dessert. If I lived in Stamford I would go every day. read more

Lorca - Manchego breakfast sandwich with pistachio pesto. Amazing. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Stamford, Connecticut

I really like the food here!!! The breakfast and lunch is really good! There's also really good churros which are a lot better than the churros you get at Disneyland or like Costco ... Cuz they're like different. The prices on the food are good but the coffee and beverage prices are a little bit high and the coffee doesn't really wake me up... But that's just me.... I like this place a lot though. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff is hella nice hmu if y'all hiring.... Also real talk they have milk substitutes read more

Love this place! Amazing food, atmosphere and coffee. The Alfa jores are my favorite.

My husband and I came here after a little wonderful restaurant named Bartaco and we loved the coffee. We are new from China and it is much different than we are use too. We love it. read more

Best place in Stamford!! The coffee is incredible and the sandwiches are out of this world! I order from here every weekend at work and my god it's such a treat. The prices are a bit high but worth it in every aspect. I will never stop recommending Lorca to patrons at my job and all of my friends. read more

Best coffee place in Stamford. Best churros in the entire Fairfield area, when I say churros I mean real, crunchy churros. Also love their matcha lattes! read more

Great place for coffee and mostly churros. The best churros in CT. Great staff, clean environment, cozy, easy access, terrific cappuccino.

Was not impressed at all. The cappuccino was disgusting/ the churros were over priced/ salted caramel sauce was just OK

So here's my update. I called to order something last minute. I knew this. They knew this. I fully expected two answers: Either "We're about to close, so sorry!" or "Sure! Just come in at X time and we'll have it ready." Standard, right? Not for me, I guess. Instead it went like this. I called, some female answered and started huffing and getting distraught. I could hear it. Her voice began to quiver, and she began to WHINE while explaining it was getting close to closing. I said "Ok, I understand, thanks for explaining. I'll just order another time." Mind you, this was 20 minutes before they closed. I was preparing to hang up my cellphone, but then little Ms. Exasperated said "Oooooook, we caaan do it. But be here within 5 minutes of closing." Cool. I get there 5 minutes before closing. Good on me, right? Apparently not. Another couple's standing there as I walk in, giggling and laughing, and I sh*t you not, they spend the next 10 minutes shooting the sh*t with the flabbergasted woman I spoke to on the phone. While I stand there, meekly waiting for my order, 5 more minutes pass, and I check the time. Now we're 10 minutes AFTER closing. I remember the exact time because it was raining and SO ridiculous. I laugh to myself at this point, and get ready to just leave. The couple and woman notice this, and the couple scamper off after quickly gathering their things. Now it's just me and the woman and some dude in the back who hands her a soggy, greasy bag. Instead of just handing me my food, she berates me while holding it. Tells me to call "EARLIER" so they have more time to "PREPARE" the food. I laugh and act all friendly and like it's my fault, but I'm pretty sure I was the one who told her I understood and I was good and didn't even need to order? And she told ME they can do it? Why on earth are you berating me? Like, do you want to waste more of your own time? Is time something that even matters to you? I assume she's a manager there, or was just closing, but really? Shouldn't you set an example for the rest of your employees? So.... whatever. I rarely come to Lorca now. Clearly they favor *certain* customers. Oh, PS. My food wasn't seasoned at all and was overly greasy and severely underdone. I couldn't eat it. ;) read more

THE BEST! My favorite coffee shop...probably ever. Try the London Fog or an Iced Almond Chai!

Superb coffee and tasty sandwiches. The marzipan latte during the holiday season was a delicious treat. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Could definitely hand out here for an afternoon. read more

I ordered a very DRY cappucino... and was handed a latte. I will say, however, that their treats were delicious! It is a shame that with such a nice espresso machine and great tasting coffee, they can't get their milk right... read more

Great Coffee, great Breakfast Sammiches, amazing Churros! What else is necessary?

Hands down one of the best cups of coffee in CT. Friendly and thoughtful. Can't ask for more.

Teeny tiny coffee spot! Staff is incredible to work with. They suggested I try oat milk (delicious) in my London Fog latte (also delicious!), and when picking up coffee for holiday gifts, they gave me a free coffee. The prices are on the high side, but it's worth it for the exceptional quality of the coffees and service. Even with the small space and long lines, they move fast and turn orders around quickly. Their churros are made to order and large. Dining in is good, especially during the warmer months, when they set up a few cafe tables outside. read more

Everyone I know loves to go to Lorca. Their staff is sweet and very pleasant, the wall decor is very aesthetically pleasing! The churros are great and as is the coffee, however my only complaint is that the space is far too small for the number of people who like to go. Expand !!! read more

Very, very cozy coffee shop sandwiched between the bars of Bedford Street. Definitely a perfect pit stop for your afternoon or morning walks. The coffee is worth the price, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the deserts are worth trying. Take a break from Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts and try this local spot, you won't be disappointed! read more

The iced chocolate coconut macaroon latte and almond croissant are out of this world!

Slow service.!!!!!! To tight! Is this place trying to copy Starbucks concept. People are hanging out with their laptops not allowing others to enjoy their orders. Can someone tell me what is this place about. Considering their menu I think it's a little pricey. I don't think will ever go back in there. read more

Good alfafores cookies the best i ever had, i recommend this place for the sweet-tooth
