Churros
Gloria M.

The food was very average but I did enjoy the churros a a lot. The coffee was not very good. Super milky and the large has the same amount of espresso as the small so you're just paying for more milk. The inside is a great work from home spot and is very vibey. The staff was also super friendly and attentive.

Oat milk latte-perfect :)

Love this local spot with vibrant, eye catching art. My oat milk latte was perfection. They do offer one vegan "chia bite" which was tasty and a pretty classic energy bite. Would have loved to see more vegan pastry options. This would be my go to coffee spot if I'm ever back in Stamford!

That extra special touch! (Thanks, Andres!) fantastic coffee, yummy treats, and great vibes. Love this local spot.

Highly disappointed with this place. My BFs birthday was today and what an awful start of the day. We wanted to try this place, as we have heard great things about it. We ordered a 20oz iced Lorchata and was shocked when we arrived to see a half filled cup with our name on it sitting on the "pick up table" I asked the barista if this was how the Lorchata came (as it was our first time here) and was utterly shocked when she said yes. I'm no mathematician but how are you going to charge us extra for a large and only give me 1/2 a cup size of the drink?? If this was the proper size (which it's not) why would you put it in a large cup? It looks like someone drank half of it and left the rest for us. It was straight up just cold brew. Nothing added to it, no horchata. We also got the Tres Leches Iced coffee (which was filled to the top correctly) however we weren't a fan. The place does has some charm, however we were highly disappointed, wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Menu

Pleasant & hardworking staff. Busy place on the weekends but well worth the wait. Pictured is a large tres leches cold brew along with a large hot latte with almond milk w/their house-made tres leches flavor. Both 10/10. Smaller shop but picture worthy vibe for any coffee junkies.

The $7.09 "large" vanilla chai

Lorca has a lot going for it. I like the atmosphere. It's trendy. It's cute. It's LGBTQ+ and BIPOC affirming. I was greeted by a friendly cashier. And what's not to love about coffee and churros? Here's where Lorca missed the mark for me. The vanilla chai was a bit too spicy for my taste, which I can forgive because they made it with skim milk as requested and it still had a nice froth. But here's what I simply won't forgive: a medium-sized (which they touted as "large") beverage that cost almost $7.00, and they didn't even call my name when ready. I'm sitting there, they see me, and my cup is waiting down the other end of the counter. How would I have known it was there? Telepathy? Lorca seems to cater to hipster patrons, which might explain (but in no way justifies) their prices and so-so service. I wouldn't not go here again, but I might find another place to enjoy my chai for a better price and experience.

Coffee was good, but smaller and not superior to the big chain, for the same price. Inside aroma is amazing.

I'm so glad I did! I picked up an olive loaf, and since their famous cinnamon rolls were sold out (I've tried them before and they're amazing), I opted for a lemon blueberry scone while my partner chose a berry and white chocolate scone. My daughter was thrilled with a chocolate croissant, and we snagged a shareable apple danish too. Per Tom tastes great warmed up with a scoop of ice cream. They proudly craft their breads and treats from scratch daily, never frozen. Their dedication to quality ingredients and traditional artisan techniques shines through in every crumb. Tom at the counter was outstanding; his warm, welcoming approach and detailed product knowledge made our visit even better. He patiently walked us through their selection and helped us make great choices, all with a genuine smile. There's a great selection with a wide variety: artisan bread loaves, bagels, rolls, and pastries including danish (apple, berry, custard) and crowd‑favorite cinnamon rolls. It's a one‑stop shop for both everyday bread and indulgent treats. I appreciate that unsold baked goods aren't wasted; they're donated daily to local charities through the End of Day Giving program. It's great knowing my purchase is supporting a business that's committed to community and sustainability. COBS Bread in Stamford delivers on freshness, flavor, service, and community values. Whether you're after a hearty loaf, a decadent pastry, or simply a smile from friendly staff like Tom, this bakery hits all the right notes. Highly recommended!

Both were soft fresh and delicious. We also got a loaf of olive oil bread. It was ok just biting into it. But would love to have that with some fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and olive oil drizzle. I tried the apple danish too. Super soft and had perfect sweetness. I would come back here. Especially since the service was really nice and helpful on the kinds of breads and pastries they have.

I was happy about the place as soon as I laid eyes on it I was drawn to the kawaii all pink very girly aesthetic, the ambiance feels like a well lit all pink "Alice in teddy bear land" experience. I love that all deserts sold here are Brazilian in origin. They taste very good and some of them have the baker`s own twist and interpretation. The staff was very friendly, helpful and provided great assistance displaying very extensive knowledge of the sweets in display and made sure to let us know of their Savory options that are also available at selected times in the bakery. COCONUT CAKE- This is a well sized little to go tin cake. It has plenty of shaved coconut to give the cake the perfect coconut texture to the cake while at the same time having this moist cake with a nice well balanced body, creamy yet firm.
