This spot is easy to miss because it's so tiny. The cafè is nice inside with a cozy atmosphere. There are only a few tables so I wouldn't plan on going in to sit there during peak lunch hours. All of the coffees and teas that I've tried here have been excellent. Although it could be a tad expensive for some, it's absolutely worth it- the quality is great. I come to Stamford pretty regularly for work and this is the best part of my visit. I always go in the morning before court and enjoy a delicious latte - or sometimes the London Fog, which is a tea latte made with Earl Grey - and a pastry, usually a muffin but the yogurt parfait with granola and raspberry preserves is also very good. Limited seating but good wifi and easy parking. An indie highlight in an otherwise dismal town. read more

Great little cafe in Stamford. The Coffee is delicious and sure beats all the Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks that clog up the streets. Nice cozy space sit. I have not tried the food yet, so I cannot comment there. read more

You want churros, hot chocolate or deep rich coffee? This is the place. Don't tell your doctor, but that's not the point. They make the most out of tight space; clientele polite enough to tolerate uber proximity. Electronic billing/tip adding just a tad precious, but so are super rich baked products and whipped cream on hot beverages. The place is what it is and does a good job at it. If you want kale and quinoa, look elsewhere. read more

Excellent beans that are turned in to delicious drinks by friendly and talented baristas. Small space with four two-tops, a larger table, and some bar stools - but was so crowded on a Saturday afternoon I struggled to stand with a drink I ordered to stay. Favorite Breakfast Spot in Stamford. I Heart Churros!!! Soooo good here. And their Pan Tomaca sandwich - NOM NOM NOM! Try to get there early b/c there isn't much seating. Great service and friendly people. The coffee and other drinks are good, but I have had a cup or two of the unique and different daily coffees that weren't to my taste. Lorca is the gem of Stamford cafés. Locally owned, Lorca takes coffee and service seriously. Baristas are very knowledgeable about the roasts served and are always very friendly to guests. I highly recommend Lorca! read more

Latte was mediocre at best. OK, so I'm an espresso snob from Manhattan, La Colombe, Cafe Noii etc but still. Food was good as was the friendly service. St James muffin and egg sandwich were really good. Very nice decor and atmosphere. read more

Churro heaven. Don't even think you tasted a churro until you tried one here. Small place but easy to get in and out of, the staff is there to help you select the trio of sauces for your churro experience. I love the dul le leche and chocolate best but try them all. Super cute coffee shop in downtown Stamford. Espresso was very good, but the avocado toast was a little weird. It was some sort of avocado whip or purée - not just avocado. I wouldn't order it again, but I will visit again next time I'm in the area for the coffee and pastries. read more

Amazing cortado and mocha. Super crisp, warm, and tasty churros (Mexican chocolate sauce was awesome). But, the best part is the service (on the level with the quality of the coffee). Always and incredible cup of coffee! Expertly prepared hand crafted coffees and Quiches. Seriously, I am a coffee lover and this place is my go to. I drive past many other coffee spots to get to this one and its worth it every time. I often get piece of their daily quiche as well that is prepared with fresh ingredients and is just delicious. Lorca makes a great cup of coffee, great pastries, and now I've discovered they have breakfast sandwiches, which are also amazing. They are still working out some quirks with logistics of ordering etc., but the customer service is great and the woman who runs the place is a nice gal. I was given vouchers for 2 free cups of coffee when my order took awhile. It's not cheap but it's worth it to pay a few extra bucks more than Dunkin for the quality you'll get. I hope this place makes it and stays around. read more
