We had an employee take our food order as soon as we sat down (get there a little early if you're really hungry). I had the ahi tuna salad... I was apprehensive about ordering a salad from a movie theater... but it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The kids had burgers and chicken strips with fries. Husband went with a burger too. Burgers were tasty. Fries were good. Chicken strips were a little dry. We sat in row c because I wanted my kids to remain engaged through a 2.5 hr. This used to me my go to movie theater when it was SMG before the pandemic. I was sad when I saw that they closed so recently after they had just remodeled. Luckily for Look cinema thought, who took over. While the features of the business is the same as before, the service and quality doesn't match anymore. The quality of the food isn't as good. They also became more pricy and do not offer the daily specials that the previous business had. One thing I was really annoyed about was that they didn't honor their Tuesday discount tickets for a movie as it was released that week. They informed me that it was only allowed after the movie has been out awhile, which makes no sense. No where does it say that there are exemptions to the deal. First time here and it disappointed from the moment we walked in. It hard a strong stench as we entered (similar to throw up). As we walked into the movie room, the seats are horrible. They are ripped, worn out, dirty and extremely uncomfortable. Let me also say the way you have to recline the seat out is very questionable. I enjoy date night here. The food is good, the customer service is great, and the bartenders serve good drinks. The only reason why I won't give a 5 star rating because of the restrooms. The restrooms are atrocious. The floors are always filthy. The trashcan is always overflowing. The sink is nasty and the soap pump is nonexistent. I feel like the restroom are never checked. I usually come to this movie theater because my experience has always been excellent. But today they had the worst service ever. My order wasn't delivered to me until halfway through the movie. And of course, it was missing the candy (sour patches). I asked for assistance several times but, nobody responded. Now I have an upset kid and ruined our experience at the LOOK Dine-In Cinema. One and done...my niece was in town for the weekend and really wanted to see Barbie in the midst of luck, everything was sold out we usually go to the Cerritos (Harkins) let's just start by saying as soon as you walk in this place, it has the weirdest stench to it like I was so confused on what that place was I felt like I was walking into a casino. We walked inside the movie theater, and the seats were so dirty, full of sticky spills from soda and people's leftover trash from the previous screening. The menu there was super bar finger foods, which I knew immediately to order popcorn. I hate the concept of this all. Great experience! Bought our movie tickets online for an easy process instead of buying at the spot. You go to your assigned seats, and there's a QR code you can scan on your table. You're able to order food through the phone or with the server that's available near the entrance! Food was good food, it was typical movie theater food. We ordered the special for two people where we each got our own entree, an appetizer and a dessert which comes later at the end. If you're looking for a different experience than a typical movie date, or can't choose between going out to eat or watching a movie, I'd recommend coming here. read more

Very disappointed in all the money I wasted, waited a while for food to come almost to the ending of the movie, when it arrived popcorn was cold. This was my second time giving this theater a try because my first experience was terrible. I'm never the ones to give a review, but this theater deserves a 0 if that were to happen. First of all, the SERVICE. Right as we ordered from the "server" (the girl with the bangs and glasses), she said we can only order the Combos since that's what the kitchen is making because they are backed up. Ummm... how does that make sense? Okay we ordered combos with the entrees since it was the entrees that we wanted. Got our popcorns and I got my drink, but they never gave my boyfriend his drink. We got our foods 20 min later, yet still no other drink, so my boyfriend let the one who dropped off our foods know he didn't get his drink. At least 45 min passed by and not a single person brought his drink (the movie was just reaching its climax). My boyfriend decides to go out of the theater to grab his drink with no problem. This is unacceptable customer service over a fucking drink. The fries as well were barely half way cooked. As a server, I know when to not serve unacceptable food to customers and making sure they are notified of the situations, plus appropriately apologizing for the inconvenience. Lastly on the service, the same server came up to us letting us know that they are out of popcorn so if we wanted to sub the popcorn for nachos instead? Was this a joke?? So we didn't have to get combos in the first place or what? Because the same row as us ordered last minute and we're given just the entrees. This to me seems shady as hell and sure thing they ripped us off. Second of all, throughout the whole movie, there were a bunch of people talking in the back of us and laughing. One person was so inconsiderate of everyone's time to enjoy the movie by taking multiple flash pictures of his stupid food and drinks. People putting on their flashlights from their phones and you'd see their shadows on the screen. Every server and food runner were passing by saying NOTHING to these people. Staffs were really nice and the seats were super comfy. But only one thing that made me put 4 stars was "coconut shrimp roll". I think someone who doesn't like sushi rolls made this. So I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this horrible experience. The sound quality was garbage, it was muted and low. You could barely hear the characters speaking and explosions/sound effects were muffled and barely audible. The screen was blurry, everything was out of focus and there were times where you would get a glimmer of focus then it would all just dissipate back into a blurry mess. My girlfriend and I ordered two cocktails and they were room temperature and disgusting. The only saving grace was that the drinks were brought to us. I would steer away from this theater at all costs. There's tickets available here for a reason... no one wants to be a repeat customer. Thanks LOOK Cinema for making Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse into a horrible experience. Not impressed with the quality here. Saw 'Silence Of The Lambs' tonight and I guess the screen masking wasn't working so they took a Flat 1.85:1 aspect ratio'd film and presented it in Scope instead. What the fuck am I talking about, you - the average movie goer - may ask? It means these dudes cut part of the image on screen and showed us a zoomed in version of the film. At one point, the image was so zoomed in, all you saw was Anthony Hopkins' nose on screen and nothing else. The seats are aiight, didn't try food since it looked like crap you'd get at TGI Fridays, just slightly more overpriced. Never thought I'd say this but just go to AMC instead. read more

I live a few blocks away from this theater so naturally, I frequent it often. The theater has been refurbished since the Krikorian days and it's clean, seats are wide & comfortable. There is plenty of parking in the structure and on the street around the theater. The bar area is great for those that want to drink and hang out but a bar is really bizarre in the middle of a family theater. My issues are really with service and food. I understand the pandemic has messed with staff retention. The servers are very friendly but there were times during the summer that they did not have enough personnel and the food took long to be delivered. I just hate when they deliver once the trailers start. It's super distracting. And it's especially bad when we only ordered popcorn & drinks long before the trailers started. Now for the food. I've had a variety of things. Some ok, some bad. Popcorn & sodas are fine. The chicken tenders tasted like they were frozen, barely warm and tasteless. I couldn't finish them. And the food is priced like a restaurant. Not at all affordable. If you're going to do dinner food & charge like it, then make sure it's delicious. The pizza was meh. The nachos are not concession stand nachos but fancier. "Homemade" style chips and "queso". Nice, but they are pricey and there could be more chips on that tray. I'm a senior companion and what we do is take elderly out. This is a place that I used to come to all the time . Not only can we get a little exercise here in an air-conditioned place but we could also do a movie and have lunch at the same time. Plus it also gives a housekeeper a good time to clean an empty house. Before Covid I would come here at least two times a week. During Covid I'm sure they close down and they switched owners . I was eager to return and see the change that they made under the new ownership. Everything looked the same the place is beautiful. I was anxious to see the food since the advertising showed new options.I was very excited to get the ahi tuna salad . Unfortunately I could not find it. The menu. The prior menu had lots of non-meat options. So I will say that the food Quality is not as good. Before a waitress used to come and order your food . Giving you the option to pay cash or card . Today they're only except cards and you have to do it online yourself which could be distracting if you come in late to your movie. A couple changes but it's definitely not gonna stop me from coming here again . Just make sure to get there early to get yourself situated. Whatever you do don't order the Mediterranean bowl. It's not a bowl, there's no quinoa like it says there is on the description. Absolutely disgusting meal.. no dressing, seasoning, nothing I was starving and paid TWENTY TWO DOLLARS for this God forsaken meal, I'll never come here again, I mean why is it even called a bowl if there's no quinoa, rice or cous cous? Call it what it is, a salad. I only got through a third of it before I had to give up. No napkins either. Also, their reclining seats aren't adjustable like the ones at other reclining chair theaters, you just scoot back and it has one setting for reclining. read more

We picked our seats but someone was in one of our two seats,no worries. It wasn't packed so we sat were we wanted. The workers walk around and in front of you while watching the movie to serve customers, that was a bit irritating and distracting,especially when they walked right in front while the movie is playing. My family and I went to a movie here tonight. Needless to say the place is over priced and not maintained. First suggestion, hire more than two adults to work. The kids working there were all standing around talking. Not one employee greeted us while walking to our theater. The place was dirty and the service and food were bad. The only adults I saw working were making drinks at the bar. Tonight I spent $160 and didn't even get a full cup of cheese with my nachos and chips were all broken into little pieces. The food was cold when it came out. No utensils came with the food. I asked the boy that delivered the food to us for a fork and he looked at me like I was dumb. I waited 15 minutes and no fork. So I went out to the food station where the kids employees were hanging out and had to interrupt their conversation to ask for a fork and some catsup. The waitress had to go back to the kitchen to get my items. She came back after almost 5 minutes with a cup of catsup that was 1/4 full and looked like it came off is a dirty plate. The seats were dirty. The runner lights for the steps were pointed towards the seats shining in my face while watching the movie. The screen was dark. The bathrooms were disgusting. People spend a lot of money to come here for the convenience of getting their food at their seat and sitting in the "reclining" seats. It's not worth it. Never again. read more

I typically go to Cinemark. The movie I wanted to watch was sold out. I decided to give Look a try. Horrible!! Seats are dirty and the service is trash. I ordered popcorn 2 sodas and a pizza. Popcorn came first, NO Napkins. I expected the pizza to take some time.. we got our drinks 10 minutes into the movie, both sodas hot, no Ice and flat. I returned them, 40 minutes later, no sodas. I flagged down a girl who said she would bring them.. she apologized and said sorry, the other waitress forgot. Never again. If you're going to promote "Relax and we bring your food to you" then have the staff be more attentive. Have them check in with their section. It's like they do the bare minimum. read more

I was disappointed with my experience here. I do enjoy the fact that you can have food and drinks delivered to your seat, but that does not outweigh the discomfort of the theater. My husband and I were the first in the theater and the lights were still on. We found our seats and immediately saw the crevices were stuffed with popcorn. I cleaned up our seats as best I could and we sat and looked at the menu. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced ( esp for a movie theater) but that's about all I enjoyed. This theatre is not really busy so there's plenty of options when purchasing tickets. Generally a good turnout when we go to see a movie here. Parking is generally ok unless you go during a busy time. If so, there's a parking structure next door. The food and drinks are good but as expected a bit over priced. The loaded fries were crispy and had enough of all the toppings, a good balance. They also have a full bar available. You can order with an employee or thru your phone using a QR code found at all seats. You'll have to enter your card info and you can opt to keep a tab open. Unfortunately, the last time I went I attempted to order using my app... it was towards the middle of the movie on the last show. I waited for my order and nothing. I checked and it appears that the kitchen was closed but there's nothing that lets you know when to make your last order or if your order went thru. While this is one of my go to theaters. I was a bit disappointed because the seats and tables were dirty. There was trash in the floor and it appeared that the tables were not cleaned throughly. They need to make sure they keep up with it because maybe this is why less and less people are coming here. read more

Was kinda shocked we got 3 middle back seats in this theater to see Dr. Strange (great viewing seats!). Especially since it was the second wknd it came out. That should have been the tip off that it was too good to be true - I understand why people are not coming here. So many empty seats in the theater. 1. One of the seats was broken and the other two seats were mislabeled. We ended up just sitting else where in the row. Management was aware but didn't really do anything to rectify the situation except reassign our seats. The broken seat was then sold to someone else...they opted to see the next viewing lol. 2. The bathrooms are as described in prior reviews: only one stall out of 3 is functional (see pictures) for the womens bathroom. We came around 7 on a Friday night... why does it look like a 4am night club bathroom? 3. I think the concept of ordering food from your seat is good but it's overall executed poorly. People are allowed order food while the movie is running. This causes distractions during the movie as you just see people bob in and out of the rows. Isn't the point of a movie to immerse you? Kinda hard to be immersed when you're constantly being interrupted by people walking around. They should only allow food to be ordered 30 mins prior to the movie starting and then have a hard stop when the movie starts or something. Overall, very disappointed. Will be spending my money at the Downey landing theater next time. read more
