    Never been to this location. Found it through my Cinemark app. I enjoyed myself very much on June 27. Decided to go 4pm in the evening. The theater was very clean, spacious and orderly. What I was impressed by the most is the way the concession stands were situated. I can't help but to feel that it puts more work on the staff to keep it organized though. You're able to fill your own slush and drinks. The register to pay for your selections is separated. I thought it was outstanding organization. The team members were friendly and accommodating as well. I also love the props that they have up promoting different movies. Very nice for making photogenic memories. I would definitely come back to this theater. I had a good time.

    Thanks to the LB Grand Prix we couldn't get to our usual Cinemark at the Pike. We visited on a Thursday night and if it wasn't for the sucky old style seats, this would be our new go to. Snack buffet. Fresh popped popcorn. Friendly team members. No kids without an adult. Great experience.

    Coming here for the sixth time, it's wonderful to come here to see a movie right on time for the holidays.

    Older movie theaters, seats do not lean back but are still comfortable. There are restrictions in place so no free refills on popcorn or drinks, and no butter stations either for your own use, to slather popcorn! I was part of a group watching Jokoy's movie feature, someone had basically organized the event and bought out the whole theater - and there were zero empty seats It was maybe about 70 total in this smaller venue. Am sure there are larger theaters for major releases in this multiplex but the small space worked fine for us. It never got too cold either for the duration of the movie. The movie itself " Easter Sunday " will never win any awards, but we showed up to support a movie with American Filipino culture being represented - it somewhat was teetering between a really bad movie and a movie with many of Jokoy's comedic bits. So fair warning!

    The seating in the XD is plush, they currently don't have a self checkout kiosk for tickets and the front ticket booth is closed so for some reason you need to buy tickets inside at the snack booth. The price is average for tickets.

    horrible service. little boys serving food are rude & do not listen. they are too busy yapping & walking around paying no mind to guests.

    No, the seats are rockers. They are slightly more comfortable than standard theatre chairs but not recliners

    Contract. The owner started off really nice and…read moreprofessional. I understand that the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel for your reason. But if there was a change in the contract by the business owner, your refund should be returned. The owner of Posh Place change the location of the venue due to not wanting to renew her lease due to complaints with her business neighbors. She moved the venue further out. My contract was based on her Carson location. The reason I choose this venue is because of the location. It was local for my guest. Not only did the owner make the decision to change the location due to her reason but she did not notify me until I contacted her regarding the party planning. The owner is also a party planner and decor which I was also using her services for. I was planning a sneakerball for my daughter in which my guest would have needed time to get their outfits together. I asked the owner for Save the date invites by the middle of February on January 22nd just to give my guest a heads up. I also confirmed with her that the Save the Date and the actual invitations would be done and she replied yes. I never received them. The party was supposed to be May 10th. On March 22, 2025, I sent the owner a text regarding what was included in the decor just to see if there was anything else I needed to get. She replied "yes, you on my to do list for today". When I finally talked to her on March 22, she informed me that she moved my event to another location. On Tuesday March 25th, I texted her letting her know that I would have to cancel the event due to the relocation. She quickly canceled my invoice which is fine but also sent me the distance to the new venue and the old venue from my house stating that they are with in the same distance (Carson and Cerritos). That was unnecessary because I was not going to be the only person at the party. I emailed her twice and text her regarding a refund ($300) of my deposit. As of today, I so have not received my refund.

A huge shoutout to their in-house caterer, Critics Choice Catering--they did not disappoint.     I truly debated whether or not to leave this review because our wedding day itself still had some…read morebeautiful moments. However, after reflecting on the entire planning process, I feel future couples deserve transparency before making such a large investment. To start with the positives: the venue itself created a beautiful atmosphere for our wedding, Critic's Choice Catering was loved by our guests, and several setup details, including the welcome table and cake tables, were set up as planned. Many guests complimented the food throughout the evening. Unfortunately, the planning process behind the scenes was extremely stressful and, at times, disappointing due to repeated communication issues, inconsistencies, and preventable mistakes. From the beginning, Kaycie (the founder and coordinator) sold us on the venue by emphasizing that it was "all-inclusive" and offered things other venues did not. During our initial meetings, I specifically asked for an overall quote that included a dinner package so we could determine whether the venue fit within our budget. I trusted her expertise and guidance when she provided us with pricing, and because it fell within our budget, we decided to move forward. Several months later, we discovered that we had actually been quoted for an appetizer package rather than a dinner package. Kaycie stated that we had mentioned possibly bringing in our own catering company, but that was simply a question we asked while exploring options. It was never confirmed that we would be using outside catering. The difference in pricing was substantial, and we felt misled. When we raised our concerns, we were told that we should have noticed the pricing difference and asked more questions before submitting our deposit. As first-time wedding planners, we relied on the expertise we were paying for and expected accurate information from the start. Another concern involved what was actually included with the venue. During our tour, Kaycie proudly showed us a large book of linen options and explained that they offered far more choices than other venues we had visited. Later, we learned that glassware, china, silverware, tables, chairs, linens, and other essentials were not included as we had believed. As people who had never planned a wedding before, we did not know these items would need to be rented separately. We often felt like information presented in person did not align with information later provided through email. For larger weddings, I would strongly encourage couples to get every detail in writing and verify exactly what is and is not included. At one point, we were told, "We have no control over how you read and interpret our literature." As clients relying on the venue's expertise and documentation, that response felt dismissive rather than helpful. One of the biggest disappointments was the seating chart. Kaycie sent me another bride's seating chart as a template and instructed me to follow that format. I did exactly that and even asked her to review it beforehand to make sure everything looked correct. She confirmed it was fine. On the wedding day, however, families were split apart, couples were separated, parents were seated at different tables, and children were not seated with their families. We later learned that she had told some of our guests she could not fully read the chart. Had that concern been communicated beforehand, I would have gladly clarified it or come in myself to ensure it was set up correctly. Instead, one of the most important organizational pieces of the reception was mishandled despite us paying for coordination services and setup assistance. There was also a serious issue involving one of the bartenders, who we later learned was terminated. Multiple guests informed us that he refused to serve drinks unless they tipped him, despite the fact that we paid for bartending services and supplied all of the alcohol ourselves. Guests reported feeling pressured to tip, and one guest was even told, "I have rent to pay," before being asked to send money directly to him. Another guest was left in tears after an uncomfortable interaction. We were also told he attempted to charge for premium tequila shots using tequila that we had personally provided. Several guests commented that drinks were inconsistent and tasted different throughout the evening. I do want to recognize Brendon, the operations manager, who was kind, professional, and genuinely apologetic. He listened to our concerns, acknowledged that these issues should not have happened, and took accountability for the areas where they fell short. His response was the first time we truly felt heard during this process. I understand that no wedding is perfect and that unexpected issues can arise. However, communication, accountability, and professionalism are critical when couples are investing significant time, trust, and money into one of the most important days of their lives.

Carlos was equally outstanding. He assisted with so many aspects of the wedding, including alcohol selections and pricing, and was always professional, helpful, and accommodating. Maria Plata and the catering team exceeded every expectation. The food, service, and attention to detail were exceptional. There several wings and each wing has banquet rooms for rental. The banquet rooms vary in size. There is a large atrium, ideal for large events. The natural lighting in this atrium is simply beautiful. There are plenty of clean bathrooms on the property. This entire property is clean with plenty of free parking. The parking lot is brightly lit for night parking. The taste of the food is what you would expect from a hotel banquet room. This center has a busy calendar of exercise classes and information on health, housing and finances. This is something for everyone!
