    Wrong address on yelp
    Philipp H.

Yelp has the wrong address in navigation. It leads to carson st in bixby knolls long beach. When I arrived there and landed at a big house I double checked. Wrong navigation address on yelp. So I had to manually type the address in, which then lead me to the right spot. Please fix those mistakes. I've had a few experiences like this on yelp. Waste of gas and time. Also some businesse sometimes just disappear on certain days. Other than that, carson center is good.

We recently got married here, I and honestly do not have 1 bad thing to say. Everything from the planning to the night of was perfect. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The venue was gorgeous. We had our ceremony outside then came inside for the reception. You have access to the entire facility for photos. (Photo credit Mark DeJohn of DeJohn photography, except the one of the ceremony). FOOD. FOOD. FOOD. The food was delicious. I have multiple messages from people stating it was the best wedding food they've ever had! I'll show you screenshots! And what's even better is it was decently priced. I could go on and on, thank you to everyone from Choura (the catering), to the event planning staff, the servers, the bar tender. Seriously, everything was perfect. I'm so happy we chose this venue for out big day.

Our seats got us access into the Amex lounge so we decided to head up after the second half. Depending on booth availability, the view can be quite nice. Of course, it's not close to the action but get full view of the field line up and tactics is its own experience. The only uncomfortable thing is; the layout of the booths make is so only the first two seated on each side will get the full view. Everyone else is being blocked by those 2 people to some extent. Secondly, you're rotating your torso a lot to look at the field so that gets uncomfortable after some time. FOOD: We got the chicken wings. They were good. The kitchen did run out of ranch so they gave us blue cheese to try and compensate (didn't go well). They ran sometime before the start of the second half. About 15min later, we overheard they ran out of chicken wings entirely. SERVER: The reason for the review and the 5 stars. JULISA was HUSTLING the whole second half. and had the most welcoming, hard-working attitude the entire time. From the first introduction there was something about her that we could already tell she is excellent at her job. Keep in mind, the club is loooong, it expands beyond the entire sideline length. and the booths are long as well, easily fits 4 people per side. So she was hustling up and down and leaning in to make sure our experience was the best she could make it. It was very apparent there should've been 1 more person on staff, idk how Julisa didn't get overwhelmed by load coming in. MANAGMENT, PLEASE RESPECT YOUR HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES AND PROPERLY STAFF THE CLUB. IT WOULDVE BEEN 3 STARS WITHOUT JULISA'S 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank you.

I love that if you have an American Express credit card, you and two other people in your party can each get wristbands for 2 free drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) - just show your AmEx card at the kiosk at the top of the stairs when you enter. For a buffet, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The Smoked Beef Brisket was very good and I loved all of the different salad options. My favorite was the Crisp Apple Slaw. The restaurant had a great view of the stadium and there is a time limit to how long you're able to stay in the restaurant. $53 per person for this buffet was definitely on the pricier side though. I think this restaurant is worth checking out once if you're attending an event at the stadium but okay to skip if you're not a regular.

Our seats were pretty nice and comfortable with ample legroom and even some cool, immersive features. I was very impressed with the massive LED halo display. Because of the advanced technology implemented here, basically everything is tied to their LA Clippers + Intuit Dome app. Entry into the arena, purchasing food and merchandise, navigation, booking parking spots, and making payments are all done through the app. This makes the whole experience seamless, but I can see this being a nuisance for those who are not tech-savvy people.

Prior to visiting Intuit Dome, I don't know if I could even tell you that I had a favorite, as there is very little variance between the others I've been to. But now, it's Intuit Dome #1 and a giant gap to whatever #2 is. (I guess San Antonio?) But even in a world where I do visit all 30, I cannot see any of the others surpassing it. Let's get into it. I found a parking spot for $25 on SpotHero that was only a few blocks south of the arena. Coming from the south, it absolutely did not feel like I was about to come upon an NBA arena, as it just kind of felt like an older, somewhat rundown vibe with some auto shops. And then, all of the sudden, there is a giant spaceship where they play basketball. I always like to walk around the entire exterior of a new venue, before doing the same once inside. Note to anyone else interested in doing this: there are basically two main entrances. If you try to keep walking around the building, you eventually just find yourself walking through a neighborhood and it takes a bit to get back to the venue. Hopefully I saved you a trip. Ok, time to get the annoying thing out of the way. I bought my tickets 2-3 weeks before the game, and received approximately 632 emails reminding me to finish setting up my Intuit Dome account, which would be the only way I'd get access to the arena. Every time I tried doing so, I would get either an error message or a note about not being able to complete the task from my location. After like 7-8 failed attempts, I just started ignoring the emails. When I arrived in LA, I tried again, and it worked perfectly. Why you can't do this from another area is bizarre. But once that was done, I will say that the entry is pretty sweet. You literally walk in without even having to show your phone to anyone because they have Face ID technology. It definitely felt like something that will eventually be everywhere, but is way ahead of its time now. And once you're in the door, the first impression is amazing. The main entry area is absurdly tall (several stories) and has the biggest escalator you've ever seen that takes you to the upper level. But before I headed up there, I walked around the lower concourse. And let me tell you, they addressed something that's normally my biggest pet peeve: the concourse is WIDE. Granted, I was here an hour before tip off, but it felt wide enough to not cause a million bottlenecks like you usually experience at these venues. The coolest feature about the concourse are the local high school basketball jerseys that line the walls. Everything else has a nice modern look, but is fairly repetitive. There are plenty of "Pick & Roll" shops that cut down on concession wait times by being quick, self-serve areas. Once I moved to the upstairs concourse, I couldn't resist doing the shooting game, which is free. They have several hoops connected to machines that pass you the ball as soon as your previous shot is done. The only downside is that you have to put a ton of arc on your shot to get it over the netting, and I'm embarrassed to say I only made one shot in 45 seconds. I didn't need to admit that here, but I'm a truth teller. Also, it's really cool that this corner of the upper concourse is open air. When you're in LA and don't have to worry about rain or cold, I guess the rules are just different. Saving the best for last: the halo board. I used to create videos and animations for sports venues, so I was really nerding out hard here. Seeing this reminded me of when I first visited Cowboys Stadium when their massive center hung was new and so much bigger than any other video board. It is SHOCKING how massive this halo board is. Sitting in the upper bowl, you find yourself watching it, rather than looking down at the action on the court. It has so much real estate that they can simultaneously put up the live action video, box scores, a recent play log, sponsor graphics, and 3D player animations after big plays. On replay reviews, they show 4 angles at the same time. It's crazy. But my absolute favorite thing was the intro/open video. When I worked in the industry, this was my favorite thing to make, but also took an extraordinary amount of time/effort. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's when the lights go out and they play a video right before the starting lineups. This was so much better than any other open I've ever seen that I want to go to another game here just for this. It was like something at The Sphere in Vegas, more than a video at an NBA game. I have more to say, but I've hit my character limit. Best arena in the NBA.

Climbing/walking up the semi steep steps to find our seats was a little scary though for someone who's considered a senior citizen. Once we got our seats in the almost nosebleed section, I was so glad that they had screens so that you can actually see Fluffy and Jo Koy. The parking lot is pretty huge and getting here from any direction by freeway or if you live local, you can take the transit here. For the most part, this facility is clean all around. Because it's such a popular venue, they keep this place prettty clean, inside and out. The Kia Forum is, however, a bit on the dated side. Not that it's bad, but when you're inside, you will see that the structure of the place does show its vintage style and age. The coliseum itself goes super high - if you get seats on the third-level, be prepared to climb some stairs! There are a lot of steps at this venue - even to the restrooms. The restrooms are about two long flight of stairs, that leads to the restrooms that are basically in the basement. Again, it's clean and maintained, but there are lots of steps. The sound system at my last visit and with previous visits have been great. You will get great sound anywhere in this venue. One of the best, in my opinion! Staff are also friendly here if you have any questions or need to find something. My only gripe with this place are the parking fees. I paid $55 for parking, but it will vary from $25-$55 for general parking, depending on the type of event. It's very steep! There's parking around the neighborhood, but unless you know Inglewood very well, it can get sketchy outside of the venue. Other than that, love Kia Forum!

At least the Greek is only $40 for normal parking. We were in the 100s, and the seats had very little room in between the rows. There was a premium section near us with better seats and more room, but you will pay even more for those seats. Sound was fine. It was weird that you had to go downstairs for the restrooms, luckily there is one set of restrooms with handicap access on the entrance level. We ate before we came, so we didn't have to buy food there. A personal pizza was $19, and a soda was $8.50. Yikes. We only come her for shows where the artist isn't playing anywhere else in SoCal. My friend who is in the army and stationed in Germany called to get tickets 2 years ago and the Chargers sold him 4 tickets better than mine for less. I mentioned this to my so called rep with the Chargers and said there are different tickets but would not provide details. Why as a customer am I getting treated different. I was born in SD in a military family. Why I am a Charger fan. This year I expressly stated I would not renew unless I could get a 4th seat. A lot of people agree, the Chargers shouldn't have moved from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2017…read more Since then, the Chargers have solidified their second-tier status with other secondary LA teams. They include the Angels (MLB), Clippers (NBA), Ducks (NHL), and LAFC (MLS). The Dodgers (2020), Lakers (2020), Kings (2014), and Galaxy (2014) have won league championships more recently than their LA counterparts. The Rams are the last team to win the Super Bowl (2022). I think the Chargers are most comparable to the Clippers. The Chargers and Rams share SoFi Stadium as their home stadium. The Lakers and Clippers share Crypto.com Arena as their home arena. The Chargers haven't won a Super Bowl and have made it to The Big Game only one time (1994). The Rams have won two Super Bowls and have made it to The Big Game five times. The Chargers and Clippers have spent less time in LA than the Rams and Lakers, respectively. Also, coincidentally, the Chargers and Clippers both moved from San Diego to LA (the Clips moved to LA in 1984). Throughout history, the Chargers haven't been a bad team. They just haven't had much postseason success despite their fair share of playoff appearances. I know the Chargers best for the Philips Rivers era. Rivers went to college the same time I did. As a Georgia Tech student and fan, I watched Rivers' career unfold when he was the QB at conference rival NC State. Rivers would go on to have a 16-year career with the Chargers (2004-2019). He started every game during the 2006-2019 seasons. Including his final NFL season with the Indianapolis Colts, Rivers is second all-time in most consecutive starts (240) by an NFL QB behind Brett Favre (297). Rivers has the most passing yards and passing touchdowns among NFL players to have never reached the Super Bowl. The closest Rivers got to the Super Bowl was the 2008 AFC Championship Game (2007 season), a 21-12 loss at New England. Rivers never played in another conference championship game. The Rivers era coincided with LaDainian Tomlinson's time with the Chargers (2001-2010). LT was an absolute beast in his prime, which was at the same time the Chargers last made the aforementioned AFC title game. He set the NFL record in rushing touchdowns in 2006 with 28 touchdowns. From 2004 to 2007, LT led the league in rushing TDs three out of four years. He also led the league in rushing yards in back-to-back seasons, 2006-2007. He was the NFL's MVP in 2006. Since moving to LA in 2017, the Chargers have had three winning seasons. However, they've only made the playoffs once (in January 2019; 2018 season). The team just finished its first season under new head coach Brandon Staley. This is Staley's first job as an NFL head coach. He spent the previous few years as a linebackers coach for the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos and, most recently, as the defensive coordinator for the Rams.
