Theater 3 and its comfy reclining chairs
    Cailin K.

Who doesn't want to sit in a recliner to watch a good movie?! The Regal in PV is clean and well stocked in merchandise and treats to make the experience topnotch. How to get a ticket: - Buy tickets in person - Go online or use their App! - Reserve your seat too *Tip* Be sure to have your QR code ready to scan when entering the building The Screening Room: - Electric Reclining Chairs - When the chairs are fully reclined there is still room to walk past others in the rows - Each chair has a cup holder - Great sound system - The images on screen are clear Location: On the third story (top floor) of the mall. Parking: The Promenade has a massive three story garage, with plenty of open spaces. Unexpected: Our movie ticket time stated it started at 7 but didn't start until 7:30 because of Ads and Previews.

It's always worth the bit of an extra drive for us to come to this theatre. On Tuesdays if you a regal member, which it's free, you can get tickets for $7.99 on Tuesdays. I prefer paying the three extra dollars for the reclining chairs and clean environment. We came to watch Superman and everything went perfectly.

super comfy seats. I love coming here for the secluded old timey vibes. Amazing service by the concessions. Worth driving out there

Been to this theater many times and I love the recliner seats but will say it's still a bit outdated compared to other theaters. We just saw Wicked and the sound was genuinely quiet and appeared that it was only coming from the front of the theater rather than it being surround sound which was disappointing. The seats are pretty comfy and we've always been able to get seats to all the movies we want to go to.

The Service: Good customer service. Staffs are very friendly. Staffs at the concession and cleaning crews are very efficient. The Theater: A little bit outdated (seats) but they keep the theater clean.

Do all the auditoriums in this theater have reclining seats?

The 3 auditoriums I've visited did not. But I don't know if that's true for all of them. I think I've been in only the smaller ones.… Read more

    No they don't.

The popcorn was also on point, perfectly fresh with that elite level of buttery goodness that makes movie theater popcorn worth the price every single time. They have four soda machines, which ended up being a small adventure because I need cherry coke at the movies. Two of the machines were out (tragic), but the third one pulled through, so crisis averted. This theater also had a very crisp and strong cherry flavor in the cola which helps this theater to rank high on my list. I was a little disappointed there was no Yoshi popcorn bucket (sold out the day before), but honestly... probably better for my wallet. Check-in itself was easy, but the scanner is placed really close to the entrance, which created a bit of a bottleneck. I walked in behind a large group, and we all ended up awkwardly shuffling and waiting right by the doorway while people tried to scan their tickets. Not a huge deal, just slightly chaotic. The two main downsides for me were the parking lot and the cleanliness. The parking lot layout is genuinely confusing--it feels like it was designed with zero logic, and I found myself second-guessing where I was even supposed to go. And when I got to my seat, it clearly hadn't been cleaned. There was popcorn all over and candy wrappers stuck in the cup holder, which... yeah. As someone who gets very bothered by sitting in other people's mess, I was pretty grossed out at first. I ended up wiping it down myself and, to be fair, once the movie started I forgot about it. But it definitely broke that illusion I like to maintain that theater seats aren't as dirty as they probably are. Like I know, logically, they're not pristine--but I prefer not to be reminded so directly Overall, still a really solid theater experience thanks to the seats, popcorn, and overall vibe, but a little more attention to cleanliness would easily make this a 5/5.

The concession stand is large with multiple cashiers ready to take your order. This place has 2 Imax theaters. They are nice. The only dissapointing thing about this AMC theater is the inconsistency of stadium seating. If I am not mistaken, some auditoriums has stadium seating and some does not. Kind of like a Hybrid theater. Overall this place is cool. Within the heart of Del Amo Mall. Thursdays is my best time. It gets packed on the weekends.

I know MJ's life was controversial but strictly as a performer and writer, his genius cannot be denied. The theatre experience was all that I could ask for. Projection and sound system were flawless. Staff was helpful. Concessions were a bit skimpy on the reduced size large popcorn since my last visit not that long ago though. Restrooms were clean and well stocked overall. Otherwise you will be waiting in a huge line and may be fighting for a good spot, so you can be far away from the we*d smokers or smokers of any kind, if you are a nonsmoker like we are . Prices are still cheap. Only $14 for general admission (12 and older). Way better than walk in theater general admission prices. Pretty sure ticket prices are cash. So make sure you have cash for tickets. We came to see Mortal Kombat II. Which was amazing. I never saw the first movie. But you don't have to have seen the first to follow this movie. One reason I wanted to see this movie is Mortal Kombat II is my favorite video game (SNES) version of the MK video games. The best place to see an action movie is on the massive drive-in theater movie screen. Not Imax, etc. So we went here. Another great thing about drive in theaters is you can bring your own food and you can have privacy with your date inside your vehicle, if you know what I mean . Just have privacy glass. Because a family of kids can be parked next to your vehicle. If you want, you can bring chairs and sit outside your vehicle and watch. Which is also a great choice. Especially if you have kids. They will love sitting outside. If you do sit outside, bring a coat, blanket, etc. It gets cold at night. The concession is cheap af and not like walk in movie theater prices. For example, their large popcorn is huge. Yet its only $10 with taxes. We got ours with extra butter. They offer a lot of other good stuff too at great prices. But we only wanted warm popcorn with extra butter. I saw some raggedy ATM machines in there. Not sure if concession got them there so you can use cash to buy food. But I didn't ask as I already had some cash on me to buy popcorn. So make sure you bring cash for concession as well. Make sure you vehicle radio can tune to 90.1 FM and you can leave it on without it draining your battery and without parking/headlights being activated. It drives us movie goers crazy when some foolish person will turn on their headlights while everyone else is trying to enjoy the film. Also, if you need a radio for showing, you can buy one from them for $20 at concession. Great experience here. I love this place. Like I said, I havent been here in like 6 years. Last time I was here, one ticket paid for double feature. Which was a steal. Because after Mortal Kombat II, I was looking forward to seeing Michael again. Which we already saw at a walk in theater. But we were ready to see it again on the biggest screen ever. They dont do double features anymore. So if the website shows two movies, dont misread like I did. It clearly says: "TICKETS ARE FOR A SINGLE SHOW TIME ONLY." I was wondering why everyone was leaving after Mortal Kombat II was over . We stayed in vehicle until security drove by and told us they only do single features. We weren't the only ones he had to tell. Great experience here. Cant wait to see another larger than life movie here.

There's something special about watching movies at a drive in that regular theaters just can't match. The area itself is nice and spacious, and one of my favorite things is opening up the back of a large suburban car, setting up blankets, and getting super cozy while watching the screen. It feels relaxed, fun, and perfect for spending time with friends or family. The cafeteria is another big plus. The food is surprisingly good and very affordable, which makes it easy to grab snacks or meals without overspending. It definitely satisfies cravings and adds to the overall experience. If you're looking for a fun, nostalgic, and comfortable way to watch movies, Paramount Drive In Theaters is a must visit. Highly recommend.

Friday the 13th found us sitting on graves while watching Rocky Horror on a large inflated screen while the Long Beach Art Theatre cast performed along with movie. Yes, there was literally dancing on graves going on here. The gravestones were interesting to read while we waited for the performance to start. Most of them were from a hundred years ago! The doors opened at 6:30 and the performance and movie started at 9, giving the audience time to enjoy a picnic or visit the food trucks parked in the graveyard. (Now that's a phrase I never thought I would write.) Four food trucks were there next to the port-a-potties. I didn't see anything saying that you could or couldn't bring alcohol, but a lot of people had alcohol out in the open, so I guess it's okay. Our neighbors even popped a bottle of champagne. Some tips for movie night: Come early if you want good parking. Late comers have to park across the street. Drive a small car if you can. The graveyard driveway is pretty narrow. It got pretty chilly in the later hours, so I suggest bringing jackets/blankets. Bring a low back chair,as taller chairs need to go to the back or side.
