Like others have mentioned, the seats at this venue are badly worn and need replacement. It feels gross to sit in them. The rest of the building seems to be modernized so it was disappointing to arrive to our seats and see the disparity. We came for the 8/10 1:30pm showing of the Lord of the Rings show. 25+ minutes past, the screen remained broken (no sound, no video). Very ridiculous. We were offered a refund and tickets for the future. I will say staff was friendly and tried to resolve the issue amicably. read more

I've been coming to this theater for a few years now and it used to be a consistently pleasant experience, which is why it's disappointing to say that my last few visits have been really frustrating. When we went to watch Zootopia, my reserved seats were literally on the floor. There were tools left around the seating, as if someone had been repairing them and just walked away without finishing or cleaning up. On top of that, the sound kept lowering throughout the movie to the point everyone had to sit still and be very quiet to listen to the dialogue. I recently went to watch Avatar, and the condition of the theater hasn't improved. The recliners are peeling and some don't recline anymore. During the movie, the screen kept going black and I'm not sure but I felt like the sound was off as well. The only good thing I can say about this theater is the seat service, but even that has some delays, 30-40 minutes for popcorn. We came here to treat the kids to a fun outing to see Minecraft, but were shocked by how far this place has declined. What an absolute shithole. I don't even know where to begin. (Please read these reviews and listen to them guys, believe everything you read about this place because it is all TRUE) Walking up to the theater, I thought it looked pretty cool but I had a really off feeling once inside. Yeah, there is a bar and stuff but other than that, the lobby is really bland and soulless. The workers don't even really acknowledge your presence either. My friend and I bought tickets to go see Weapons. As the previews ran, I realized that the audio was incredibly loud. Like super loud. My ears are still ringing actually and I left the theater an hour and a half ago. The movie itself was not bad, it was quite good but man, the audio in the theater was abysmal. And something tells me the screen was also not in the best quality. Something about it seemed unordinary. The recliners were also some of the worst I have ever sat in. Not only are they peeling like crazy, but some of them don't even recline all the way. They are terrible! Now I know this next part is not really the theater's fault but I am going to talk about it anyway. This was one of the WORST theater going experiences I have ever had because of the audience. The theater was not even packed, there were people scattered throughout the auditorium but oh boy were they fucking annoying. The people further down the row from us brought children in (why anyone would bring children to a movie like Weapons is beyond me) and they were giggling and laughing the entire time. Twenty minutes into the movie, a large amount of people came in and sat in the row behind us. They were so rambunctious coming in and some of them proceeded to whisper the entire movie in Spanish. A few times during the movie, the cries of a baby could be heard from the front of the theater which definitely made it difficult to concentrate on what was going on. Someone's phone kept going off during the movie too and they did not ever silence it and it looked like someone towards the front was also taking photos of the screen with the flash on at one point. Absurd. It was all around just fucking awful. If this is the type of clientele this theater attracts, people who are rude and disrespectful in a place where being silent is of the essence, then I will never come back here again. I wish I had paid full price for tickets and gone to see it elsewhere. You know something, I am actually a little grateful I came here tonight. This entire experience has made me appreciate all the other theaters in the area so much more. This theater is horrific. I would be scared to even get food. Visited recently to see Frankenstein and the film projection was out of frame. We told this to the staff on the floor. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. This makes 3 chances I've given this theater. I've seen Superman, Weapons and tonight (11/16/2025) Predator Badlands here and each time something new has happened. Tonight the emergency alarm went off about 25 minutes into the movie and we were evacuated only to find out it was a false alarm to which the staff offered NOTHING. Couldn't playback the film, No refunds, no explanation. The LOOK DOWNEY has the the WORST projections screens. It is so incredibly dark it's almost unwatchable. I will never come back. My boyfriend and I went to this theater for the first time on Halloween night to see the Frankenstein movie. We love trying new theaters to watch movies but this honestly, was one of the worst theater experiences we've ever had. When we first walked in we loved the whole bar set up they had. Then we saw the seats were all torn up, worn out, and really uncomfortable (definitely not what you'd expect for the price) We ordered a Sprite, a strawberry milkshake, a flatbread, and a bacon smash burger, which came out to around $60 (no refills for soda). Our two tickets were another $38. We were actually the first ones to order. Our food came out after about 20 minutes but no drinks. We started eating, assuming the drinks would come shortly, but they never did. Meanwhile, everyone else around us seemed to get their food AND drinks just fine. After another 30 minutes of waiting (and sitting in a really hot theater), my boyfriend used the call button for assistance because we were super thirsty. Fifteen minutes later still no help. l called for help from my chair and finally someone showed up. Even then, it took another 10 minutes before our drinks actually arrived. For the amount of money we spent, this was completely disappointing. Between the uncomfortable seats, poor service, and long wait times, we'll definitely NEVER be coming back. I wouldn't recommend this theater to anyone. If you want a better experience, stick with AMC or Cinemark it's around the same price or cheaper sometimes with better service, cleaner seats, and a much more enjoyable night out. read more

The theater is not taken care of, the seats are stained with food and there's a lot of food in between the seats. Made me not want to order food from there or even sit down. This theater needs to close and be renovated. The leather seats are peeling and sticky to sit in and the screen quality for some of these theater rooms are low definition (theater 9). I don't know what the right term is, but the screens project some of these movies as if the prints were bootleg: low picture quality, lighting and sound. I recall in one of the bigger theaters, you could see a small gap of the wall behind the projection screen through the movie. The employees also look burned out and zombie like. We waited like 20 minutes for somebody to take our order even though it was a Tuesday night. The food quality went downhill as well. The chicken tenders were soggy and the bill was $34 for that and a small soda! Crazy. It doesn't seem like anybody cleans up after each movie either. There is always popcorn in between the seats and the table is sticky. I don't think we will come back here again and we have been coming here since 2020. read more

I ordered the supreme nachos which were okay and I also ordered a cup of water....I got CHARGED for TAP WATER! She didn't even tell me that I would be charged for WATER, specifically TAP WATER! If you're going to charge me for water give me a bottled water instead. The server was nice but I would like to be informed if I'm being charged for something that is normally free. Seats are good, comfortable.. with recline ..the theater is almost fully clean . reserved seating so you can get the seat you want ofcourse if it's available.. the screen has a good size.. but here's my issue.. the concession stand.. you have to order through a QR code..I prefer to order at the stand to be honest but whatevers..so you scan it..order..they deliver in 15 mins or less..let's say you order again..they're they are.. so they put a hold on your card for whatever amount you order and get a text saying your order is not complete or closed unless you go back to the app and close your order.. they force you to leave a tip.. 18% or 19% or even 20%.. seriously .. you're gonna gonna pay 20% for receiving old stale popcorn and tap water watered down soda which by the way it's a health hazard cause you can tell they haven't change the filter in a while.. but here's the catch.. you try to pay .and close down the charge so your card is not available to unessesary charges or to close the tab and since you're forced to leave a tip cause you can't exit without leaving a tip..ofcourse you're gonna chose 18% for low quality stuff..but here's the thing ..they won't let you close your tab.. so this is what the text says.. No way to get refund, no refund link exists. So I email their customer service requesting a refund due to the abysmal quality of their theater and not a single response. As an Infinity Club member who has booked events at this theater, I expect consistency -- especially when I bring audiences and clients here. Unfortunately, this most recent visit makes me question continuing to do so. The front door was locked during operating hours, and once inside, I was told I could not order food just 20 minutes into the movie. If there is a "last call," it was never communicated, and cutting off service that early is unreasonable for a premium theater experience. Guests should not have to race the clock to order food before a film even gets going. I've supported LOOK repeatedly, even though I live closer to Downey, but I cannot recommend this location in good faith if situations like this are brushed off as normal policy. I've had other small concerns here in the past that raised an eyebrow, but this one sealed it. I will now be considering Glendale, Monrovia, or alternative LOOK theaters for future hosted events. My following and clients deserve a seamless experience, and I can't risk them encountering the same frustration.
