Came on a Saturday night after hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - Buffalo burger was a little dry and tasted similar to a very lean beef patty. They provided mustard and mayonnaise packets for us to control the amount of condiments on it. Elk sirloin steak at medium rare was very gamey and lean which made it a bit dry. The reduced red wine sauce was wonderful but the first taste is surprising since it's very alcoholic. The mashed potatoes and broccoli sides were seasoned well and had nice texture. Ambience: 5/5 - karaoke night was great and everyone was so friendly cheering each other on. Major basketball game on the tv if that's your jam Service: 5/5 - Camila was super attentive and sweet. Whenever I'm traveling I've always found the local Irish pub to be a great place to grab good food and drinks as well as to rest during a busy day. Lonigans was all of the above. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the food and drinks were exactly what you want from pub fare. Getting up very early for a long day of touristing, we were thrilled to relax here for a long lunch and a few drinks. Obviously this is pub food so expect that, not five star dining. The only reason why I didn't give it a 1 star was because of our waitress... we bonded immediately when she said she was prior service too. It was tough, chewy, and tasted like blood (it felt like medium rare). My hand and mouth got tired from cutting and chewing. That was the worst steak I have ever had in my life. I don't go around say food is less than okay unless it's spoiled, rotten, or just inedible. This was maybe one of the few times in my life where it was a STRUGGLE to eat every piece of it. But I always prided myself to finish anything I ordered. So I did. But I had to request for them to grill it to less bloody, and put a bunch of tabasco on it after to cover the taste. It was terrible. This was probably the first less than 3 star reviews I have ever done. It's not easy to do, but that steak really justified it.
