Lee is just amazing and truly my go-to inspector for all of my clients. I have complete confidence recommending him because I know he is going to be thorough, honest, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, take the time to really educate my clients. One of the things I appreciate most about Lee is that he doesn't just walk through a home and point out issues--he teaches you along the way. If there is something you don't understand or something new to you, he takes the time to explain how it works, why it matters, and what you should be aware of as a homeowner. That is especially valuable for first-time buyers, but honestly, even experienced homeowners can learn something from him. His attention to detail is incredible, and his reports are extremely thorough and easy to understand. He is also responsive and willing to answer questions even after the inspection is over, which gives my clients an added level of confidence and peace of mind throughout the transaction. As a Realtor, having trusted professionals I can confidently refer my clients to is so important, and Lee is absolutely one of those people. I know my clients are in good hands with him, and I highly recommend Lee and Longstone Inspection Services to anyone buying or selling a home! read more

I hired Lee as my home inspector during my home-buying process, and his thoroughness exceeded my expectations. He conducted a comprehensive inspection that meticulously covered every aspect of the property--from structure to systems--and provided a clear, detailed report that highlighted potential issues and gave me confidence in my decision. Lee was readily available by email, phone, and text to answer my follow-up questions. When a small leak surfaced three weeks after the initial inspection--just one hour before our closing--he immediately offered to return to verify that no mold had developed, not only through a visual check but also using specialized equipment. His prompt response gave me tremendous peace of mind, and the sellers were able to fix the issue before closing. I also appreciated the helpful referrals he shared for repairs and maintenance, which showed his genuine care for my investment. He was available to answer my follow up questions via text, phone and email. I highly recommend him. We also added water and pest evaluations. read more

Our experience with Longstone Inspection Service was excellent. Everything was explained, the report was well organized, and easy to navigate. We were encouraged to ask any questions we had and were given follow up check-in messages. The report was so thorough that we were able to present many of the items before closing and received discounts/allowances on items in the report. Lee caught these items and gave a thorough explanation throughout the written report. Was it worth the expense? Yes, without a doubt! We have had a lot of inspections prior and this one we can confidently state, was a reasonable price and worth every penny. Longstone Inspection Service Highly Recommended. read more

Lee is very thorough and driven to give the best possible support. I am buying a new home - new homes require inspection, too. He found tons of things that we need to work on. Some of the things he found: Our dishwasher was broken, drawers weren't installed properly, shower was not attached properly, and sinks were not fully functioning properly. The report includes videos, drone shots, vendors if we were to do repairs etc. I appreciate his kind attention to detail and willingness to discuss everything until it is understood. We are grateful for his hard work and expertise to support our new home purchase. read more

Lee came out to perform a home inspection yesterday and I had a great experience. He arrived on time (even texted me since he thought he was going to be 5 minutes late). Lee took a look at mostly everything in the house, outside/inside/crawl space/attic and used a drone to take photos of the roof or areas he couldn't himself access. Very personable and while I left him to do his own thing, he seems like the guy who would be happy to talk and answer any questions that you might have throughout the process. It was easy to schedule an appointment via Yelp and the pictures/report was delivered that night and were very detailed and insightful as to the issues that he found. Already recommended Lee to a coworker of mine who is in the process of buying a house and would use him again in the future if the need arises! read more

Lee Longstone did an amazingly thorough job on the inspection of the house we were buying. He let us know each and every problem that needed to be taken care of AND provided us with a list of reliable contractors to repair each problem. We feel very confident that his help will allow us to fix up this fixer-upper fairly quickly. It's so much better to know what to repair than wait until it breaks. He gets our A1 recommendation. read more

Excellent service! Very thorough. Very happy with our experience. I cannot imagine anyone doing it better!

Five stars for Lee all around. He's a nice guy, but also professional and very thorough. His website interface is easy to use for both scheduling an appointment, learning about his services, making payments, and also for accessing/downloading your inspection report. His report format is easy to follow. I love the visuals and comments room by room. He inspected both the exterior and interior. The builder previously had their own inspector come in for a quality review and found 10-15 items or so to address just days before we came in for this additional inspection. Lee added another 15-20 items on there, which was great! I appreciated his sharp eye, his shared sense of fixing even the smallest of things that would inevitably come to bother me over time, and his patience with explaining things to me about the function/purpose of various items we were looking at, what is normal, and what is abnormal. He fiddled around with everything from the electrical sockets to the sinks and to the appliances to make sure everything was in working order. I would have trusted him even if I weren't around-- I just wanted to learn! Good experience. I have already recommended him to a friend. Would use his services again. read more

This is the 2nd time I use them, consistently the best in the area

I hired Longstone Inspection Services to perform a home inspection, termite inspection, and radon test for a home I am planning on buying. Lee was responsive to all my email questions, was easy to schedule with, and performed a thorough inspection of the home. He found numerous items, had the report ready the same day, and walked me through the report over multiple phone calls. I really want to stress how thorough the report was, which is what I expect in high quality inspectors. To be honest, I was still unsure of the severity of some items after talking with Lee multiple times and ended up hiring a third party consultant. This consultant observed how thorough this inspection report was, which instilled a lot confidence that I found the right inspector. I would gladly recommend and hire Lee again in the future. read more

Longstone Inspection services provided exceptional home building expertise when I hired them to inspect my new construction house (pre-inspection before sheet rock and inspection before purchase) as well as advising me on home sale inspection report requests (when selling our old house). Lee found issues that I missed, advised on legal code, typical standards and made suggestions for what to request. Our home purchase actually went through easier because I knew issues discovered would be handled and not for me to possibly figure out later, if I found out at all. I've owned several homes in multiple states and Longstone is the best inspection service I've ever used. read more

Mr. Langston is an extremely competent, dedicated, and professional inspector. From our first conversation to our last, he was very polite, courteous, and supportive. I enjoyed his very thorough inspection, his patience in explaining every possible problem, and going above and beyond by checking for possible termite damage, checking the whole house generator, and extending himself (quite literally) in checking suspect areas on the roof. He also suggested radon testing solutions beyond what he does and was likewise very helpful and generous in giving us advice and possible remedies to existing and looming problems. I am very pleased with his inspection and services and recommend him VERY highly. I am also honored to be the first "Yelper" to review him because he is definitely first rate! read more

I really like the website he used as it was easy to navigate and also able to easily make payment without hassle. The report was comprehensive and structure nicely in a easy format to understand.
