Came here on a Thursday Afternoon in hopes to put a purchase on a car but that had to be held back because I was not sure if I would get the funds in. There were a lot of used cars in the front and I was thinking of getting one of those. I was approached by Jose Mendoza and he really helped me determine which car I wanted. He helped guide me to all the new ES300H that has almost 581 miles in a full tank. I fell in love at first site. I was thinking about getting the Mustang Mach-E however, I was completely drawn to the Lexus. Not only Lexus IS reliable but the cut and trims are very aesthetically appealing. I want to purchase a Lexus rather than a Ford car. I'm not trying to say Ford is bad but my family always got Lexus and no one really had issues with it. We all had Lexus that last longer than ten years so why not. Especially compared to my old car, this car can go more than 500 miles rather than the 320 miles that my CT200h had (it got totaled). I definitely like how I was taken care of. If someone was not able to help me, they would send someone that could help me so I would not be waiting. I was able to see the great amount of cars they had. Although I did not make a purchase, I did kind of not come empty handed because I know what car I want now! So last weekend I found the Lexus LX570 through Autotrader.com. And contact the dealer, talked to Rony Parada and set the deal on Monday. Since I was purchasing the car for $70k cash. Since the wiring process is gonna take 3 days. I talked to Rony and told him the situation. He said 3,4 days no problem we just want you to pay $1000 for holding the car for you. And we agreed I gave him the card number on the phone. I also requested him all documentation related to car/sale since I already made an arrangement with the logistics company who will handle my shipment, reminded him several times but no e-mail! And he called me next day even asked my social security number through text message after I gave him all my credit card information and ID picture. I was like whoot?! Cash sale is not even required SSN. And I asked "why?" And his exact answer was "oh we just wanna know you are not TERRORIST or something" ...kidding me? accusing me like that? Based on what? Becouse I am Asian? And I said okay e-mail me the required documents or link along with the documents which I was already been asking twice for my transporter.... But nothing. And the worst part is the called me a day before my appointment with them oh sorry we sold the car to someone. At this point I already requested my day off and made all the arrangement with transport companies and money is already wired to me from my parents all the way from Central Asia. I requested to talk to Sales Manager to clear things out. And Craig Wolfson called me, instead of pay attention and situate it. Just "sorry this things happen" !? Didn't even offered me similar option from their inventory. I purchased quite a few cars from all over the states. This place is the worst ever! Top 5 Reasons to go to Longo Lexus: 1) Man Wong - My service advisor of 11 years and counting...Always professional and always going above and beyond. Man works with the techs to inspect my car while in for routine service and on more than one occasion, future needed repairs were identified saving me several return trips and inconvenience! Also, Man always makes sure on the billing that I'm getting a good value out of my visits, follows up daily, and even replies to email while on off days and late evenings (to the point that I feel bad since I would have just waited the next day to send the correspondence if I had known he would take customer service that far). Man also schedules my appointments in the system for me, whereas other dealers require that you make the calls yourself to the loan cars department, or log into an online account yourself to do your own bookings. 2) Expertise - The techs at Longo have always shown me a concerted effort in getting the job done right the first time. There was only one hiccup in the last 11, where there was a minor differential oil drip a couple of days after an extensive repair was finished on the rear axles. That seemed like it was more related to the severity of the original mechanical damage than a labor or technical issue and they changed the differential oil and replaced the axle seals without charge. Problem solved and differential/axles still running fine 3 years later. 3) Loan Cars - Longo's loan car department is well managed and I have always found their personnel to be professional and willing to work with me. Never ran out of loan cars in the past 10 years and the cars were generally clean and without issues. 4) Waiting Area - the remodel that was mentioned in other reviews on here caused some inconvenience, sure. But the facility now looks better than any service facility I've seen at any dealership. Very warm and comfortable environment with charging ports for phones and laptops, nice chairs, you get to see the work being done by the techs through the glass wall overlooking the techs' workstations, and they still offer free pastries and drinks! 5) Car Buying - I bought my Lexus from Longo originally and still remember the pleasant experience. They have an extensive selection of cars at all times, keep half of them underground away from the harsh sun or rain but available to the public to view, and the sales department was more than willing to negotiate a fair price with me. I usually don't spend time writing reviews, and I waited a week before writing this one. I am a long time happy customer of Longo Toyota and Longo Lexus. On 2/28/21, I brought my Lexus GS 350 for an appraisal to Longo Lexus (collecting dust, due to work from home). I was greeted in the lobby by Hadi Sobhani. I told him I was looking for an appraisal on my Lexus. He first confirmed that I was not looking for a trade-in and told me that I should go to CarMax and they are busy right now. I told him I purchased the car here an wanted to get an appraisal to compare first. After suggesting that I should go to CarMax a few more times, he proceeded to tell me that their business office is closed and they couldn't write me a check the same day. Hadi finally told me to take it to Longo Toyota. I drove me car across the parking lot, waited 15 mins, only for someone at Longo Toyota to call Longo Lexus and tell me I need to take my Lexus back over there. I do want to mention that Longo Toyota was very nice about it and called Kevin Holley, the Longo Lexus manager on the floor that day. I drove back to Longo Lexus and asked to speak with Kevin Holley, Hadi Sobhani saw me and approach me interrupting another sales consultant. He rushed over to Kevin and tried to tell him I was here for an appraisal and said he would help me. I told Kevin what happen and he apologized, but still allowed Hadi to help me with the appraisal (this was extremely awkward and uncomfortable). Hadi hardly said a word the whole time and just took my keys and registration. They gave me an offer in about 20mins (obviously I did not need to come back another day) and it was not busy at the time. Needless to say, this was a terrible experience. Management definitely needs to either spend more time training their sales team or hire better staff. Hadi obviously does not understand that dealerships usually make a higher margin on used cars or he's just not incentivized and/or doesn't care. read more

Steven Johiro, digital sales team member, helped me with my transaction. He was extremely professional throughout the whole process, taking his time in helping me with my vehicle purchase. In the end, I was given a great price on my IS350, better than what was presented on services like truecar.com, costco...etc. Most of the other Lexus dealerships would not be open or honest about their pricing. Nor were any of them(including Cerritos, Southbay, Keyes, and all the OC ones in southern California) able to come close in competing with Longo Lexus. When I started shopping around for a new car, I went to almost every single Lexus that was in Southern California and honestly after my first visit at Longo Lexus, I knew this was the dealership I was going to work with. Not only was the dealership welcoming but I had one of the best salesmen to help me out with the whole process, Dennis Lo! It took me a while to decide on getting the Lexus because originally I was torn between an Infiniti and Lexus, but after my initial visit, I knew it was going to be a Lexus after I test drove it and Dennis was convincing. I ended up buying the Lexus ES 2017 and loved it! Fast forward 1.5 years later, my car ended up totaled from getting hit by a speeding driver, and I texted Dennis right away and he reserved a the new ES 2019 that I've been eyeing for me and made the whole process so easy! TJ BUTLER -- This woman is amazing & God send! Initially I was having problems with my Bluetooth & called Longo Lexus to have someone assist me. Longo pinged me to TJ, and she walked me through - thorough process of getting my Bluetooth to work. She even offered to give me her work cell phone number, and told me that if I decided to go to another dealership (due to the distance), I could provide the dealership with her number so she could assist with the problem. Unfortunately, a part of the process was not understandable to me because I'm not a techy person so I had to bring my car to another Lexus dealership (Tustin). Bad mistake on my part. The problem was temporarily resolved, only to resurface at a later date. Yesterday (06/03/19), my Bluetooth crapped out on me again. I sifted through my text messages & texted TJ. Ok I came in to test drive their lastest IS f sport 2021 FWD in blue color (because I saw someone driving that car at night and became obsessed with the color and design) Lexus by far is famous for being very meticulous with the details on their cars especially with the colors. The experience was amazing because that car was super fast and smooth that you don't even feel like you're driving a car. It was almost as if I was flying on the freeway but it was fun. However, I still heard wind noises and wasn't so impressed with the dashboard look. I think it's time for Lexus to upgrade on that in order to keep up with other brands. Although, I still love my current Lexus car and will miss the service I received from Longo. I somewhat got tired of all the maintenance and oil changes. Therefore, I'm going with Tesla. I was interested in getting my car ceramic coated soon after receiving my ES350. A couple of my friends suggested I invest in a ceramic coat, and at the time I didn't know much about the process other than it protects your car. I fortunately had the pleasure of talking with a Lexus Technology Expert, Emilio, and he patiently explained the entire process to me and was very transparent about the price point along with what it included. After learning more about the service and talking with Emilio I decided to ceramic coat my car and I could not be any happier with my decision. I couldn't open the back door on my NX300 by the remote or the dashboard button. This was a major inconvenience. I called Longo and spoke with Aira, the Longo Tech Advisor. Aira was so pleasant and helpful! She invited me to go to the showroom, and she even offered to get me on the schedule to have a technician evaluate the car at my home.
