We have purchased multiple cars at Longo Lexus before and we must say that Longo never fails to deliver. My husband and I recently had a horrible experience at Keyes, and so we are a little on the edge walking into Longo. Our sales person, Sabino, could not have been more helpful. After showing us the selection of cars that were available, he was courteous enough to leave us alone so that we could look around at our own pace. After sometime has passed, we have finally picked out the car that we were interested in. My husband and I can agree that Sabino was very straight forward and patient, as he took the time to listen to what we have to say and tried to work out the best deal possible for both parties. We did not feel pressured into buying the car, as sometimes sales people tend to have that effect on buyers. Sabino was very helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. So upset my husband took my car to Get diagnosed and they totally misdiagnosed my car I would have spend over $4,000 to fixed my car and they weren't even completely sure what it was I wasn't satisfied with what they told me since it wasn't a forsure answer I needed so I took it for a second opinion and my car was totally misdiagnosed I don't trust them any more with my car and I feel like I spend $160 for a diagnosed that meant nothing and wasn't helpful at all make sure you get a second opinion before spending money when it may not be the issue. read more

5 stars is for Jack Chen ! I was contacted immediately by George Kantanto to come test drive the car. Let me say i was not planing on purchasing a car right away and it wasn't a Lexus but a Subaru. We had to check in with receptionist like we were told to do and he looked like he wasn't having a good day and cut us off and told us to just go sit down. Maybe he saw we were just some young people not dressed nice or maybe he was just having a bad day already but no matter we went to go sit like he told us to do to wait for George. George came and greeted me and told me he was busy helping another customer but would get someone else to help me. I got worried because I thought "Oh no , what if the person who helps me just has a attitude that they don't care especially because we are 3 young people" I was worried but decided to just wait. Jack Chen was the salesman who came to help me. Immediately I was greeted by his bubbly yet professional personality. After the test drive we sat down to do the financing step. I told him I wasn't ready to run my credit yet and he said that was not a problem no pressure and asked if I wanted to look at the car more and talk about numbers and ask questions after I am done. And I said Yes I would like that. After a million questions that I asked him , I finally decided to fill out the form. He was very patient with me and did not pressure me not even once! He kept a smile on his face and even gave me some advice on what to do with my current car I had. He even kept a smile on his face even though I failed to fill out the paper work correctly 3 times! He was very patient and more than happy to answer all the questions I had before we proceeded. I purchased the car and I must say I am very happy with the service I got at Longo Lexus. When we were leaving Jack gave me my keys and told me to enjoy my new car. He was constantly updating me about the status of my car. He responds to his emails so quickly that it felt like we were on instant messaging. My first Lexus was an IS250 pearl white exterior with a black interior and navi. As I was searching for my second Lexus I was very specific on the color, price and specs of my car. I wanted a RX350 pearl white exterior, black interior (which I found, was VERRRY hard to find because the manufacturer does not make a lot) with a navi system. George found it for me for a price that I was happy with. But the most important thing is PRICE!!! I live in the valley and there are plenty of Lexus dealerships I visited before I went to Longo. All the other dealerships would always start at the very top taking into consideration bargaining until the dealer and the purchaser reached a happy median. George, does not mess around with the price. He gives it to you straight without the hassle. When my car finally arrived, George made the buying process so easy. He even showed me features that I NEVER knew existed in my IS that I had previously had for FOUR years!!!! I am so happy with my purchase and the experience. How can a renowned car dealership have an excellent service dept. and in contrast have a lousy, unprofessional new car sales people? I've always taken my RX 300 for service @ Longo service dept. and was always taken care of my needs by Mr Palmer w/ excellent care. In this particular day, I decided to venture next door and visit the new car dept. as I was looking to see the latest model is as I was comparing it to other brand vehicle. The salesman that approached me appeared uninterested and had smirk In his face when asked to see different cars/feature. He did'nt even offer me for a test drive. Conclusion: I will never go back @Longo Lexus again for future purchase. I Don't even use their service dept. because of this lousy salesman. Slow service for maintenance, expect long wait times even when the place is virtually empty. 3 hr wait for something that should take 30 minutes. They said there's only 1 car in front of mine but there are actually 5. Prices for maintenance are exorbitantly expensive. $200 for a 20,000 mile service. If i wasn't leasing I'd take it to Firestone where I can get in and out for $20 in 20 minutes like I do with my other car. read more

This review is solely on the theft of my gasoline!!! My husband took my car in for service and a warning light with a full tank of gasoline. I noticed now on my drive home that my car was returned without gas! Ive heard about this horrible practice happening at other shops but not at this reputable dealer! This not only made me lose trust in taking my car in, but i feel extremely dissapointed. Up to this moment I've had excellent service and we love our service advisor. Yeah, I'd totally go back and I say Longo Lexus is a good place to buy a car. My friend asked me to help her price out a Lexus SUV. She had the model, options and color picked out, and she asked me to go find her the deal... and she wanted to be close to her home in the SGV. I emailed the Internet Sales staff to a few dealerships, made a few calls, and within a couple of days I had some excellent prices and option packages (it's a hard economy for SUVs, so it's a buyer's market!). We were happiest with a car at Longo and I got a pretty decent price quote from one of the Internet Salesmen. We went to drive and look at the car this morning and my friend wanted it. We talked about our price negotiation strategy before we went. I was sure I could have saved her another $500, but she totally jumped the gun when we sat down to talk about the price, and she agreed to the quoted price before I could get my hands over her mouth (or around her neck). It's a nice dealership; real classy and all that stuff. It's a huge place and the people are pretty friendly. The service guys did an excellent job in preparing the vehicle, and Longo has a lot of little extras when you buy from them and in the months afterwards. My only complaints are that my sales guy would walk about 40 feet in front of us when leading us around, and I got the feeling he hated us (me?) but I'm not sure that's not such a horrible thing from a car salesman. Also, the finance guy was chewing gum... and I don't mean that he had gum in his mouth. I mean, it was full, open-mouth juiciness. It was a visual and auditory experience the likes of a Disney theme ride into someone's mouth, and I was a little fearful that we were going to get some splash affect if we were around the guy too long. Really. I'm not making this up. Anyway, my friend got the car she wanted and she's thrilled. The finance guy was a little gross and our salesmen might have hated us (me?), but it was otherwise pretty great. My experience at Longo was a definite contrast to the creepy, dirty feeling that I got from that BMW leasing experience in Sherman Oaks. read more

After a not so pleasant experience with the sales manager over at Jim Falk Lexus getting over to Longo was a very nice change. Longo was not pushy about financing (I'd come already pre-approved for a loan through my credit union) or extending my warranty. They even include the first year's worth of maintenance visits and offer mobile service at your home or office! This was my first ever Lexus purchase and I plan to return to Longo for my next. For new lexus purchase, there is no dealer that can compete w Longo lexus. Not sure about used car purchase, but at least for new, no lexus dealer does more volume than here, and no one else can entertain better discounts than Longo. Bought 2 cars from here. Ambiance and amenities are sub par, but if ur only objective is to bargain hard and get the price u want, this is the best place. expect to get the best deal u can negotiate in so cal, if ur willing to work for it. Transaction, however, is slow. Took me 6 hours. At cerritos, I was out in a little more than an hour. Highly recommended. read more

This is neither for the Service or Sales Department but an employee by the name of Eric Garcia. He is a Lexpert that drove to our home to refresh our memory on the features of our loaded RX450-HFsport. We already had our orientation about the features when we picked up the car last December but believe me, this car has so many bells and whistles that we practically forgot more than half of it. Eric was so thorough answering our questions and methodically demonstrating the features inside and out that it took him over 2 hours. But those 2 hours saved us more hours if we were to read the owners manual ourselves to figure the gadgetry. Kudos to Eric and wishing him the best when he gets promoted to sales. read more

While I didn't pay too close of attention to the pricing of the services, my impression was that it wasn't cheap even for changing the window wipers (especially when tagged along with the complete service package). The customer waiting area offers water, soda, and cappuccino machine, but they hardly bother to refill the snacks, which is very disappointing compared to my own experience at BMW auto centers. read more
