Go to O'Reilly's, get it price matched don't waste your time here. This autozone I'm particularly used to be my go to spot for all my automotive parts, not anymore, I have had nothing but bad experiences and horrible service. I am sure there's still some good knowledgeable workers but I haven't had the luck in finding any of them at this time. I still gave them the benefit of the doubt and they had me waiting over 20 minutes for some pricing that I never received. Most of the employees act like they are doing us a favor by attending to a customer. Like I said it used to be the spot, now just take your money elsewhere and save yourself the frustration. I wish I read the reviews before coming to this place, but I had a dying battery and really needed help. I did call beforehand to ask if they were available to change the battery. They said yes, and so I drove there. I arrived, and the employee I spoke to on the phone was rude in person. Another employee was about to sell me a battery until I asked him to make sure it's a battery my car can use. Thank goodness I asked because after he checked my battery and confirmed what I already knew, he and his coworkers went on to tell me that no one was available to change my battery, and that I would have to call the next day to see if that changes. So not only did they lie to me over the phone, they also wasted my time. Thank goodness I was able to start my car again and get to a shop that got the job done. I get that a business is supposed to make money, but a good business makes money without punishing their customers. Went for a battery replacement that is under warranty and a helpful staff member I believe was the manager took the battery out but a different staff member help installed the new battery and broke a bracket to clamp the battery down and did not have any tools to tighten the battery down. Horrible customer service from the manager, her name is Darlin, very unprofessional, ignored my fiancé and I, more than 3 times. We asked for help and she ignored us, we had to check on the interment ourselves for the correct size because she did not offer to help us find what we were looking for. We do have a commercial license from auto zone and we were treated with complete disrespect from her. So much attitude, we went an hour before closing we really needed a fuel hose and she was no help. The only person who was nice and had common sense was a man named Edgar, very polite guy, even after she treated him like crap as well. How to get some headlights I got estimate it from another place at my headlights would be around $35 so I called up AutoZone and they told me it would be $17 so of course naturally I came over here they also accept Apple Pay which is very convenient because I recently lost my card, Mike helped me out on the phone and he helped me out in person his boss who I did not get his name informed me that Mike could even check to see if he could replace my headlight for free! (Of course I would've tipped him) they have certain policies where they can't fix the headlight if it's too difficult to get into but he did take his time to look at my headlight and really try but I have a specific headlight that is slightly harder to get into, i'm just really appreciative that they at least tried that would've saved me a lot of money in the long run since I was quoted almost $60 to fix my headlight and if my headlight was easier to get into it would've only cost me $17! I came here to get tools to remove my license plates before before going to the DMV to get my personalized set. I approached Bob (store manager) and asked him if he could look at my plates to see what I needed aside from a standard screw driver. He did and give me two options: A) pointed me to the most affordable tools amongst the different price ranges, or B) offered for his staff to remove them and put them back on after my trip to the DMV. Obviously, I picked option B. Sergio was very nice and professional in removing them even though one of the plate holders gave him a hard time when removing them due to rust build up. Upon my return, Roberto put my new plates and was also very helpful and friendly despite having the same issue as Sergio. Thank you again Bob, Sergio, & Roberto! We got there I walked in asked for a battery check, he walks out and I told my mom to keep the car running because that's how I get my battery checked. He told me to turn it off and I asked him, are you SURE? He said the battery was charged. Next day my mom's car won't start AGAIN and we bought her a new battery because she needed it. I've gone in there sometimes thinking I walked into a Vicente Fernandez or a Chalino Sanchez concert cause the employees are singing so loud! I've stood in line waiting to pay for an item for at least 8-10 minutes just to have someone walk in looking for a pair of mechanic gloves and be rung up first cause they were closer to the counter! I was livid, and I let them know! Salesman's response? "Sorry bro"... WTF?! One more thing and I'm out. Over the past 2-3 months I've gone in and their debit/cc scanner machine has been down and they'll only do "CASH ONLY" sales. I think by now they would've taken care of the problem.. You'll be amazed at what you can find at AutoZone! AutoZone has lots of well-priced auto parts considering their size! The service and staff are always helpful! In addition, AutoZone is very thorough when it comes to helping you find what you need for your car. They're also pretty quick once you get past the occasional long lines. For instance, I come in looking for a particular oil and filter and I get the parts that I need in a jiffy! Also, you can bring in your used motor oil, after you're done changing it. If you're a regular at AutoZone, I highly recommend that you sign up for their AutoZone rewards card. After you spend X amount (I think $100), you get a $20 reward to spend on anything throughout the store :) read more
