Horrible customer service, Edith when above and beyond to make my day extra stressful, we had just purchased a belt at a different AutoZone location, it was defected, I returned the item of yours later, at this point I was far from the original store, so I went to the one nearest by. This is where I'm at Edith, I had my receipt, it was only a few hours old and she gave me the hardest time in the world to do an exchange, I wasn't even asking for money back, I was just asking for a part that worked. If her job is customer service, she failed miserably. I've never had issues there, I've always dealt with Martin the manager there who is exceptional, outstanding at his job and goes above and beyond... This Autozone location is trash! they swindled people & attempt to scam people for money. My family members & I had no issues coming to this location to replace our car batteries before. We have been loyal customers but this place is going down hill. They don't even bother to look at the car battery warranty. There is no point of having warranty policy when they are just going to disregard it. Additionally, the employees here are uneducated & lack of basic customer service skills. They all need more training on basic skills set, my suggestion is to at least learn how to check car batteries while the battery is still in the car. Do yourself a favor & go to another location because the workers at other locations actually know what they are doing. read more

This review is intended for the 2 employee working at this location. They both lack customer service, deceive customers, and exercise indolence. Came in to have car battery checked and warranty ends 4/2025. There were no lines, I walked in to the first counter, an older Hispanic gentleman who claimed his name was Jose (no idea if that's his real name, he had no name badge) inquired for phone number associated with the account, he was able to see it on his end and I'm sure he sees the warranty is still within the timeframe of replacement. He then stated the battery needs to be removed from the car and they will take it in to have it tested which would take approximately 2-3 hours since he's claiming there are batteries from previous customers that are being tested right now. I was dumbfounded since I kept mentioning that the car was right outside and he can just check the battery with the use of their portable device however, the guy just stood there puzzled. To my understanding, checking battery does not require hours to check its functionality however, I just went with it and told him if he could assist in removing the car battery out the car and have it tested but he just stood there asking again if the car is here as to which I stated that it is parked outside, but he did not make any motion to actually assist. Then, a younger gentleman next to the counter, mid build, long hair decided to interject stating, "it's our policy" and then stated checking the car battery will now take 4 hours instead of the previous estimate of 2-3 hours. I asked if I could speak with the manager on duty, but I didn't get a chance to do so since he seemed to be occupied with other matters. I decided to leave and just call the district and/or regional manager, but decided not to proceed since I'm not sure how they could be of help. I'm sure they need to meet their sales quota and me want to purchase a new battery, but not acknowledging warranty is not the right way to go about it. I decided to go to another autozone and they were able to test the battery and found out that it was bad within minutes and replaced it. I was out of that place in less than 10 minutes. Just be cautious when purchasing at this location especially with tied warranty since they will not acknowledge it, at least in my case. Hopefully, it's not true for the rest of the customers. I just needed to share my experience. Lastly, those 2 staff should familiarize themselves with policy and procedure of the company before being left alone on the counter, ZERO stars for them. read more

Had to get myself a cabin filter since dealer is selling them for way too much. It was nice for them to have online ordering and will notify you when it's ready for pick up. I was in a rush to get it, and I ordered it online. I went ahead to the shop without getting the notification that it's ready, I called the shop and told one of the guy that I forget to bring my mask! He helped me look for my order and actually went to get my order first and even took it outside for me to my car. Saved myself an extra trip going back home to get a mask. Thank you!! read more

I needed two deep cycle marine batteries to replace the dead ones on my pop up camper. I called around looking for my group 24 batteries, and just about all the places only had one, if they had one at all. I called Autozone and was helped by Martin, who checked the store inventory. When he discovered they, too, only had one in stock, he offered to have one brought over from another store for me today by 5 P.M. Sold. I received a courtesy call from him at 4:15, letting me know the driver had already dropped off the battery, and they were waiting for me at the store. I just picked them up, and while I was waiting in the short line, I was impressed with how the staff was hustling to help customers, opening the paint case, finding parts, and manning the phones, seamlessly shifting from English to Spanish based on the guests' needs. I walked out with two new batteries for our rig at a fair price, and got a 1 year warranty included. I'm not a car guy, but this store took great care of me, and I'll be back. It's the closest place for me to go to in a pinch and a few of the guys have general knowledge of car stuff but I wouldn't rely completely on their recommendations if you really know what you're doing. Prices here are descent but not the cheapest overall so you have to know what you are getting and how much it is. Keep enforcing the policy and signs posted of not working on your car in the parking lot. I don't know why people insist on doing this still. Just trying to correct the marker on this business is like pulling teeth with Yelp HQ as I have submitted a few requests before. If you know this area, there is not an Autozone located at East Valley Boulevard. Looking at the street view of the map you will not see one at that location either. I arrived twenty minutes before closing, and they were pretty busy for such a late hour, I decided to get a new battery ( I was going to mexico the next week, and I didnt want to get stuck with a dead battery in the 4 hour mecca at the Mexican boarder) Jose, helped me find it, and when they didn't have it in stock, he immediately asked the other guy working there to pick it up at a near by autozone. When I said that I could go get it, he told me to wait and that he would be quicker than two shakes of a lambs tail. In the mean time he said he would install it for me! ( I was thinking, ill buy the battery and ill put it in the next morning during the day, he insisted on doing it that moment, even after the store had just closed. He asked me to prep the car, open the hood, and he took my battery out and as soon as he was done, the other guy was back with my battery! he charged me for it and saved me some money by taking my old battery so i didn't have to pay a battery deposit fee. and like he said, in two shakes of a lambs tail I was out of there with a new battery and a new mechanic. lol read more

Giving a five star to the staff Joe! Wow he went above and beyond to help me out. When I had walked in, he was already busy with other customers but he told me he would be right with me. I didn't mind waiting since I know how it is with retail and dealing with customers. I had called ahead because I purchased my Alternator there and I had an issue with my alternator, he came out and checked it for me tested the alternator and battery and gave me his advice and we fixed the problem. We also had been having problems with a loose battery cable. Of course the truck wouldn't start when we tried to leave. Omar A. came out with his tools and tightened it for us. If you are a woman, avoid this place. There is an older Asian man who isn't even an employee here who "helps" costumers but he is very racist, biased, & misogynistic. Came in a couple days ago to buy some windshield wipers. From the moment I walked in to the moment that I left this older man was just rude as hell & the actual employees don't tell him anything. I came knowing what I wanted. I asked the man what brands they carried fir windshield wipers. Immediately after asking that question he response back "ohhh little girl did her homework." EXCUSE ME??? Then he proceeded to add "We we're just going to give you the cheapest one & call it a day". WHAT??? I told him "Excuse me? What the hell??" I was infuriated with those two comments. He took me to the aisle of the item I was looking for & asked him for the Bosh brand. Again he comments "Little girl knows her stuff!" Dude what the hell?? At this point I made it very clear to the actual employees that I was pissed and offended (keep in mind this older man isn't even an employee here). The main employee tells me he is just a regular costumer that likes to help them out. I expressed that they should educate him on how to speak to costumers. He makes really rude comments that will offend costumers. As they are looking for the right fitting for my car of the item, a Hispanic costumer who was riding a bike walks in then walks out for no apparent reason. The older Asian man then comments to the second employee (who is fairly new to the position) that whenever a costumer walks in with a backpack or big bag that they need to leave their bag up front to avoid shoplifting/stealing. The Hispanic man then walks in again on the phone with someone minding his business & the older man asks him to leave his bag up front. The Hispanic man obeys the request & goes on with his shopping. The older Asian man then continues to talk about how many steal & what not. I ask him if he does this with all costumers who come in with a big bag or backpack (hinting about everyone, man woman, white, black, Hispanic, etc) & he responds no. Just those who looks "suspicious". At this point I'm so offend as a Hispanic woman. The employees don't even tell this man anything just pisses me off even more. At this point the employee who was helping ring me up comes back to tell me they don't have the matching pair to the windshield wipers I want to recommends another brand. Since the older man has made it clear that ALL women don't know anything about car related stuff, I have to ask questions to make sure they aren't selling me cheap shit as they planned to at the beginning. The employee assured me that the brand is top quality just more affordable than the original brand I wanted. I say fine pay have them installed & left. But the employees not once correct the older Asian man on his rude comments or even apologized. Hate to be one of the customers that come in right before close, but my car had a dead battery and I wanted to fix it ASAP. I called at 9:35 and the guy on the phone gave me all the information i needed to know about the battery my car needs. He also said if we can make it within 10 minutes that he'd be able to help us install it. Overall we got there around 9:45 and left with a new battery installed into the car in less than 10 mins.!
