I placed an online order for rotors and brake pads on 10/29, expecting to pick them up by Friday (10/31). When I got to the store, I was told part of my order was delayed -- okay, things happen. The associate said it should be in Saturday, but for sure by Monday (11/3). I've called twice since then, and both times I was told the parts still haven't arrived. Now I'm being told to expect them tomorrow (11/4). Really frustrating experience -- if there are delays, customers should be notified instead of having to keep calling and waiting. I had driven around looking for a car part that I needed that same day. Luckily, they had it at this store. I'm bad at remembering names, but I believe it was Thomas who helped me. He was very helpful and friendly. He offered me some options and immediately ordered my part on the spot. Unlike other 'popular' stores, he actually gave me a courtesy call to let me know my part had arrived. Once I arrived, the store was busy but he quickly gave me the car part and I was able to be on my way. I'll be coming here first next time I need anything for my car. read more

I needed to get a caliper for my car and my friend and I decided to go to NAPA Auto Parts in El Monte. This NAPA store has its own parking, so parking would not be an issue in my opinion. We arrived and the friendly staff welcomed us. "Employee 6" assisted us with the part I needed. He went above and beyond and really took the time to get the part. He had to remove the caliper from the overall piece that they had in stock at the time. Here is a tip: You get a discount if you use your AAA card for the total. My overall experience was great and the customer service I received from "Employee 6" was outstanding. In my personal opinion, I would recommend NAPA auto parts. read more

My bad review is for the lifetime warranty on craftsman tools from this store. Even though craftsman tools have a lifetime warranty, this store will not honor it and will tell you to go find a Sears to return your tool. I would not buy any craftsman tools from here again and I suggest anyone else who solely buy craftsman based on their warranty to not to as well. You've been warned. read more

I want to start by saying guys at the counter are always awesome, no issues friendly reliable and always leave with what I need (two stars simply for them). Can't say the same about who seems like the manager (-3 stars). Today I went in like I always do to pick up some parts for one of my cars. While I'm talking to one of the guys I could hear a man screaming, yelling and cursing in the back while a lady was saying don't yell at me. Poor guy I was dealing with tried ignoring as if this is a common occurrence but I could not help but look over and see the frustration in the young lady's face as she stormed to the front. Napa really needs to screen who they let be managers. This situation was not only unprofessional, but also very awkward and saddening. I will no longer be a customer of yours just due to the severity of this situation. read more

I have shopped at various NAPA stores in Colorado and California for 50 years to help my gearhead instincts. This is a good store in El Monte. But the NAPA on-line store deserves a zero star rating. The on-line customer service refused to honor a warranty that was on an item I purchased on-line. Never again, Rock Auto or O'Reilly on-line from now on. Needed a valve cover gasket as I saw a oil leak in the Honda Crv and went to Napa. These stores still have the old American values. You can eat the fresh fruit , enjoy the coffee, and eat the popcorn all just for visiting no questions asked. So need a quick meal stop by Napa auto stores. I really needed to get a side mirror replacement for my husband's commercial van, and Tony checked on it, making sure that he had it physically in stock. Horrible customer service. My husband had to pay for auto parts that were still under warranty, but was told he would get a full refund upon returning the defective car parts. When he did, he was told they didn't have cash to pay him back. He was sent to the Covina store for the refund. When he arrived to that store, the manager that was going to help was "out to lunch", and was told to return in 2 hours! After back and forth...he got his money back. Never going back to Napa.
