Alex helped us find a part yesterday. My husband thought my Bronco was a 4-cylinder so the part didn't fit. I came in today, 11/3/26 for an exchange. Alex said he could give me a refund since the part didn't fit and I said I'd like to get the part that actually fits. He gave me the run around as if he didn't want to get me the new part, but he didn't say those words. So, I finally said, "well can you check?" He said he would have to check after he was done with the other customer And it would be about 10-15 minutes. I told him I was OK waiting. Then, he came up with another excuse and I told him just to give me the money back. I work from home. I have all day. I don't mind waiting. But, Alex's customer service was disgusting. He needs some training and if he is the manager, this store is in trouble. He should treat women the same level of respect that he treats men. I am so upset and disgusted. read more

O'Reilly Auto Parts - My receipt from date of purchase and the return receipt. - Auto Parts & Supplies Near Me - El Monte, California

Went in last night around 8:30 pm. Needed a new battery and Jose seemed to be the only one working. He was super patient and super friendly when purchasing my new battery and installing it for me. There seemed to be another younger person working with him who didn't seem to be much help at all. When I arrived in the store there were other customers and Jose helped them all. The younger worker came in after Jose had helped everyone already. When Jose was installing my new battery the younger worker went back outside to hangout with his friends by their car while other customers were coming into the store. Jose was doing all of the work by himself with installing my battery and trying to ring customers up. These 5 stars are for JOSE and JOSE ONLY. Super sweet and such a hard worker here. read more

Thank you Adan for helping me out today! My car battery decided that this day will be the day it'll crap on me. I decided to go over to Oreillys cause it's close by and needed it to be done today. Adan tested my car battery and helped me out with choosing which new battery to get for my car. Transaction was pretty straightforward. He was also pretty fun to talk to. My car was ready to go after he installed my new battery. Thanks again Adan :) read more

I've been here a few times since it's close to my job and perfect for quick car needs. The location is perfect and the customer service is good as well. If you have any questions, people behind the desk are willing to assist. Also join their points rewards program. read more

The location has the most knowledgeable employees you can find in any auto parts. Two older guys I am sorry I forget their names. They are truly awesome and full of knowledge and patience. It is truly remarkable how experienced they are and have zero condescending attitude. I hope O'Reilly takes great care of this guys that bring so much value to their store. read more

Super helpful and friendly employees. Been coming here for awhile since it's in my area.

The service was terrible. It seems these "employees" find it amusing to play pranks on customers and embarrass them in front of their colleagues. I wonder if making jokes at someone else's expense is really necessary to feel good. read more

I'm not a car-guy (or a cat-guy... thanks iPhone autocorrect for knowing me so well), so a trip to O'Reilly's or any other auto parts store is usually an exercise in frustration. I know enough to change oil and replace brakes and replace headlamps and wash n wax Mrs. Picante's car... so trips here are usually on that end of the spectrum. Sadly, it always seems like some guy who is looking for a rare European car a-arm bushing made of carbon fiber and black widow silk is in front of me in line, taking untold amounts of time from the associate who is furiously punching something into the computer while the "on-hold" phone call receiver rests precariously between his jawbone and shoulder. Good customer service here anyway... just seems the customer in front of me is the benefactor of it. Still, they generally seem to have the little 194 replacement lamps for my trailer running lights and pretty good prices on Simple Green. So I keep heading back and always will. read more

I walked in on 9/5 and experienced poor treatment. The salesman, Caesar, gave me 3 different options of motors and I asked which one is the best. He said the most expensive obviously, so I took out my wallet and grab my credit card. He then turned his head and walked off. The coworker saw how Caesar walked off and came to help me instead. Caesar said I tried to throw my card at him, but I am still holding my card. The coworker said they don't take credit card, I'm supposed to insert it to the card reader in front of me. But Caesar didn't tell me that, he just walked off. read more

2-26-24 i went to my Local OReilly Auto Parts @ 4792 Peck Rd El Monte. Have a 2011 Chevy HHR that the Rear passenger side window would not Go Up as Partially Down for unknown reason. looked up on Youtube for Location of Fuse and took picture of it. showed picture of Fuse and since i havens worked on cars for Years the Counter Employee "TONY" said fuses are Now on a Isle and took me to the isle and He Looked for me. he Pulled out 2 and he said it looked like the first fuses he pulled of the rack. it Sure Did. HERE IS THE BEST PART FOR ME He Went out and PULLED OUT the fuse in Question and IT WAS About 1/2 half the length of the one in the Fuse Block. SO HE GOES BACK TO THE RACK AND FINDS THE PERFECT MATCH. He Installs it and NOW MY WINDOW ROLLED UP. We are to have Rain Today and HE SAVED MY DAY. Now This is the Kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MAKES ME A CUSTOMER that WILL BE FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE IN THE AREA. Thanks Tony read more

Prices can be a little high, but they are there when you need it. When my car battery crapped out on Labor Day at 8 pm (this is the original car battery too, mind you, that served me since 2005), O'Reilly was still open til 9 pm and had the battery I needed in stock. It cost $118 with tax included. I found out later that batteries normally cost around $70-$80 so I paid extra for the convenience of not figuring out what to do the next day. The battery also comes with a 6 year waranty -- 2 years of free replacement and 4 years of pro-rated prices. Not bad of a place to come to if you're in a jif. read more

Staff is unfriendly and very rude, no greeting when you come in and doesn't acknowledge you when you're waiting for assistance. The employees were standing around talking and cursing , won't give this place business again. They did not offer to help and when asked are reluctant to provide help, I went in around 5pm nowhere near closing, not sure why they had such terrible attitudes. read more

This is the first time I've ever had to get my check engine light checked. I went here because I know they offer the service, but they had no idea what they were doing. For a simple task like that? Geez. The guys were really nice and at least they tried?? I have an older car and they were plugging it in to the wrong port and were like "why isn't it connecting?". Of course I didn't know either because like I said this is the first time I've had to get it checked. It wasn't until later I found the port they were actually supposed to connect it to, after I left. I knew it wasn't any of my fuses or my port was bad because I just got smog done a few weeks ago and it would've failed otherwise. I guess just know your car before coming here for their services. read more

I went in looking for windshield wipers, but many of the ones configured for my car were out of stock for some reason. I then talk to the store clerk (Steve, maybe?) who, after searching in the back, found some and offered to install the pair for me. We go to my car, and he sees that I only need to replace one of the rubber wiper blades, not the wiper arms themselves. So he tells me he can hunt down the proper wiper blade and refund my purchase. In the process, he saved me about $20 after spending nearly half an hour hunting for rubber wiper blades and trying on different ones to best fit my car's configuration. This type of customer service makes this store (or at least the customer service skills of some of their employees) stand out. Bravo! read more
