I'm not a car-guy (or a cat-guy... thanks iPhone autocorrect for knowing me so well), so a trip to O'Reilly's or any other auto parts store is usually an exercise in frustration. I know enough to change oil and replace brakes and replace headlamps and wash n wax Mrs. Picante's car... so trips here are usually on that end of the spectrum. Sadly, it always seems like some guy who is looking for a rare European car a-arm bushing made of carbon fiber and black widow silk is in front of me in line, taking untold amounts of time from the associate who is furiously punching something into the computer while the "on-hold" phone call receiver rests precariously between his jawbone and shoulder. Good customer service here anyway... just seems the customer in front of me is the benefactor of it. Still, they generally seem to have the little 194 replacement lamps for my trailer running lights and pretty good prices on Simple Green. So I keep heading back and always will. read more

2-26-24 i went to my Local OReilly Auto Parts @ 4792 Peck Rd El Monte. Have a 2011 Chevy HHR that the Rear passenger side window would not Go Up as Partially Down for unknown reason. looked up on Youtube for Location of Fuse and took picture of it. showed picture of Fuse and since i havens worked on cars for Years the Counter Employee "TONY" said fuses are Now on a Isle and took me to the isle and He Looked for me. he Pulled out 2 and he said it looked like the first fuses he pulled of the rack. it Sure Did. HERE IS THE BEST PART FOR ME He Went out and PULLED OUT the fuse in Question and IT WAS About 1/2 half the length of the one in the Fuse Block. SO HE GOES BACK TO THE RACK AND FINDS THE PERFECT MATCH. He Installs it and NOW MY WINDOW ROLLED UP. We are to have Rain Today and HE SAVED MY DAY. Now This is the Kind of CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT MAKES ME A CUSTOMER that WILL BE FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE IN THE AREA. Thanks Tony read more

Staff is unfriendly and very rude, no greeting when you come in and doesn't acknowledge you when you're waiting for assistance. The employees were standing around talking and cursing , won't give this place business again. They did not offer to help and when asked are reluctant to provide help, I went in around 5pm nowhere near closing, not sure why they had such terrible attitudes. read more

Don't like the service there. When I walk in I was looking for car wash. The lady who work there saw me looking for something, and ask me do I need help, which is good. But I already got my car wash so I say no. I was looking for my boyfriend that he was looking for motor oil. Prices can be a little high, but they are there when you need it. When my car battery crapped out on Labor Day at 8 pm (this is the original car battery too, mind you, that served me since 2005), O'Reilly was still open til 9 pm and had the battery I needed in stock. It cost $118 with tax included. I found out later that batteries normally cost around $70-$80 so I paid extra for the convenience of not figuring out what to do the next day. The battery also comes with a 6 year waranty -- 2 years of free replacement and 4 years of pro-rated prices. Not bad of a place to come to if you're in a jif. read more

This is the first time I've ever had to get my check engine light checked. I went here because I know they offer the service, but they had no idea what they were doing. For a simple task like that? Geez. The guys were really nice and at least they tried?? I have an older car and they were plugging it in to the wrong port and were like "why isn't it connecting?". Of course I didn't know either because like I said this is the first time I've had to get it checked. It wasn't until later I found the port they were actually supposed to connect it to, after I left. I knew it wasn't any of my fuses or my port was bad because I just got smog done a few weeks ago and it would've failed otherwise. My boyfriend and I live very close to this location and so we always come here for car related things. Today I actually went by myself to buy a headlight bulb for my Camry! Me being the not so great at cars person I had no clue which bulb to buy and how to install it! Luckily the worker helped me out and even installed the bulb for me! I went in looking for windshield wipers, but many of the ones configured for my car were out of stock for some reason. I then talk to the store clerk (Steve, maybe?) who, after searching in the back, found some and offered to install the pair for me. We go to my car, and he sees that I only need to replace one of the rubber wiper blades, not the wiper arms themselves. So he tells me he can hunt down the proper wiper blade and refund my purchase. In the process, he saved me about $20 after spending nearly half an hour hunting for rubber wiper blades and trying on different ones to best fit my car's configuration. This type of customer service makes this store (or at least the customer service skills of some of their employees) stand out. Bravo! read more
