I had taken my Toyota Tacoma to had them rebuilt my engine . I thought because they were Vietnamese which are my people which I had thought they can be trusted . Little did I realize that they send my engine rebuild out to another person , ( sub contract ) . I was told that my truck Tacoma was done and ready for pickup . When I got it back , my Tacoma engine was not any better . I brought it back and try to give another . Towards the end they gave me the run around . This mechanic shop doesn't not deliver and specialize in what they do , who costed me $3000 . Hopefully one day, Karma wewill bite them in the ass for all the shady business that they do. read more

I come to this place out of convenience. I wouldn't typically recommend this place to get simple things done such as an oil change unless it's a last minute choice! Due to my procrastination I've came for an oil change a few times & the owner changes the prices all the time with an excuse like he's giving me top tier oil when he's been giving me the same oil I've gotten the past few times.. 0 star if I could! Took my car here to get a wheel stud drilled out because the lug nut snapped. Gave very clear instructions to not damage the wheel and if it would be an issue, to not take the job and give me my car back. They took my car and drilled my WHEEL instead of the STUD. When I picked up the car, the mechanic even stated "Well at least I saved the stud!" They were proud to destroy thousand dollar wheels to save a $20 stud...And on top of all this, they were very unapologetic and gave a lot of attitude when I expressed my concern. Went in because my air conditioning wasn't blowing cold air. I spoke with Wilson and told him that there was a coolant leakage and wanted him to find it seal it and add coolant. After about 20 mins of working on my car he said it was done. I left with cold air . 2 days later the cold air was gone because all he did was add coolant and charged me $130! coolant is no more than $40 in auto zone. went back and he didn't refund me or offer to seal the leakage. I'm out $130 bucks. stay away from here. they will do anything they can to scam you out of your hard earned cash. read more

Quick and friendly service. I called on a Sunday, they quoted me $60 for a smog check and said it would take approximately 10 minutes from start to finish. I got there and someone else was getting their car smogged so I waited less than 10 minutes for my turn. My smog was done in less than 10 minutes and I was charged exactly $60. I didn't give 5 stars because they need a waiting area for customers. There was 1 office style chair behind a car that was partially in the shade with stacks of newspaper on it, not sure if that was for customers. They should have a few chairs in a shaded/covered area to protect customers from the heat or rain. read more

I needed to get smog check done. And Wilson and his team was able to get that done quickly. I also wasn't being upsold anything like one of the reviews on here. I work in the automotive industry and the reason you're probably upsold something when going in for a smog is because your car won't pass smog. Because your car isn't able to pass smog work needs to be done to your vehicle to have it pass smog. And yes sometimes it can cost up to $1,000 dollars for the parts and labor. 9/24/17 I have a nail in my tire and i wanted the guys to take a look and patch the tire. I came in around 9AM and they told me to wait about 15 minutes. I ended up waiting 40 minutes gave up and decided to go a different shop. These people are unorganized and some of their workers are chilling by the smog check center on their phones and not helpful at all. would NOT recommend. Also, their shop is located on the corner lot, I saw their workers drive over the sidewalk ramp, which should be designated for pedestrians in wheel chair. Totally not safe and the city should be notified. read more

TL;DR: An honest, but careless shop. Been taking our Acuras and Toyotas to this shop for more than a decade. A couple of years ago I decided to learn to do auto stuff myself, starting with oil, coolant, and transmission fluid changes, and progressing to valve cover gaskets and most recently, a timing belt. Now that I know what I'm looking at, I see that the repairs by Wilson were done with good quality parts, usually OEM, and doesn't charge a whole lot. The problem I have is the carelessness of the mechanics that work for him, as I have discovered two problems now with the work they did. First, they cross-threaded one of the lug nuts which then caused the lug bolt to shear off the hub assembly when the wheel had to come off for tire rotation. Any decent mechanic should know that even if you must use impact tools to tighten fasteners (which is already lazy to begin with, as impact tools should really only be used for loosening), you should start the threads by hand to make sure you're not cross threaded. In this case the mechanic loaded the nut into the impact socket and just forced it on, resulting in an extra repair job to replace the hub assembly. Second problem I discovered on one of our other cars was a broken timing belt cover and a stripped dogbone engine mount bracket, likely again from the overzealous and careless use of impact tools. Suffered a sunburn at the El Monte LKQ junkyard looking for replacements for those. I'm glad I saved the money I would have likely spent on fixing more careless damage and bought my own tools to do my own work instead. YouTube is awesome for DIY, with channels like Scotty Kilmer, ChrisFix, Eric the Car Guy etc. Nobody else touches my cars ever again. read more

You can tell they are good by the steady stream of loyal customers that fill up their garage everyday. If you go on weekends, be sure to go early in the morning (before 10) or else you'll probably have to wait. I googled "Chinese Auto Repair" and found a good deal. Someone said the store is inexpensive. So I drove about 1 hour to Rosemead form Irvine.  The nightmare was just starting. When I went to this car repair shop, I had to wait for 5 hours!! Not only me, but the other customers. The man didn't care me too much. He just did anything he wanted. Because of the price, I thought I could stand it.   Finally, the man came, and reset my SRS in 3 min. He didn't check anything else and he said $50!!! I said WHY? You didn't check my car at all, you didn't do anything to fix my car,  and you didn't tell me how much I have to pay before you fixed it. He answered me because he had to pay for his Employee for 5 hours to watch my car. I felt ridiculous. I don't want to argue with him. I know they are pirates. Finally, I paid. and I drove back home. I wish I had a better experience to relay....and while I would never tell a person where they should or should not do business I can tell you what I experienced and you can make a decision whether this is the business for you. On Tuesday, November 6, 2018- I contacted this repair shop and spoke with Scott. I explained to him that my vehicle had overheated and I wasn't sure why. I explained that I had visited AutoZone and I ultimately delivered him my vehicle along with the information printed via AutoZone. Prior to dropping my car off, Scott explained that a diagnostic test would be done which would tell him what the issue is at a cost of $35.00. A short while after dropping my car off, Scott contacted me via phone and informed me that my brake pads were bad, he would perform a complete tune up and the radiator fan was broken and would need to be repaired which is why my car was overheating. He explained that the repairs would cost close to $700.00 which I agreed to have him proceed with repairs. In less than 3hours, Scott informed me that my vehicle repairs were complete. I was shocked because of the quick turn around and planned to drop my second vehicle off for repairs the following week which we discussed. Later, the same day, my car overheated again. Fri, November 9, 2018- we delivered back to Complete Auto. Later in the day, Scott called and said the issue was resolved as they found an air pocket in the line and resolved it. We picked up my car again and once again the car overheated the same day. Unfortunately, the shop was already closed...was closed on the weekend and closed for the holiday as well...so the vehicle remained parked and on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, we contacted Complete Auto and informed them of the reoccurring issue that was not resolved as we had been told. My wife returned the car that day and again was told that there were air pockets which they rectified and told us again...now for the third time that the issue was resolved. Again, on that same night, the car again was overheating. So again, we contacted them on Wednesday, returned the car and they have had my vehicle for 2 days. I received a called from Scott on Friday, November 16, 2018 informing me that there may be a larger issue that will cost a couple of thousand dollars. I brought my car in, was told that they would perform a diagnostic test to determine what the issue(s) are- if the first issue they find does not repair the overall issue what good is repairing the smaller issue to the customer We paid for a diagnostic test to be complete- which means all the issues should have been disclosed so we could have made an intelligent decision on if the vehicle would be worth salvaging. They repaired "an" issue but "the" issue - the primary issue for me bringing my car in, was not fixed- despite them continuously telling me it was. My initial conversation with Scott regarding my vehicles issues, he told me that the broken fan was causing the issue...that was not true and we paid this company to determine the cause At no point, in any conversation that we had with complete auto, did anyone say to us that the issues we were having could be a larger more significant issue. We were told that the broken fan was causing the issue and fixing it would resolve this issue. That was not correct - if they would have giving me an honest overview of the possibilities of a larger more expensive issue- I would have opted out of doing work on the vehicle Instead, I feel like I was fooled to pay almost $700 toward repairs on a vehicle that would not resolve the more immediate issue, just cause them to profit. I believe this company either knew the larger issue existed and chose to withhold the information for financial gain or they did not do a proper diagnostic test to determine the real issues causing my vehicle to overheat. The fourth time they decided that this could be a larger issues...not the three times prior and not during the diagnostic exam he told me he would perform? That is rather suspicious and demonstrates their severe negligence. read more

Unbelievable, do not go to this place. The owner was going to charge me 300 bucks for the MAF sensor plus reprogram system. The sensor is 80 at Nissan dealer, and reprograming cost 130 at Nissan dealer. There is not way whole thing will cost 300!!! The owner claimed to work on my car for hours, but they had my car for two days, and I believe they only spent no more than 30 mins on it. My experience from this place is horrible and terrifying. It's like a nightmare that doesn't seem to end. The beginning of this year on March, I brought my car to let Wilson to took a look at it. Every time I brake I heard a squeaking noise. He told me that my front left pad is wore out. So, he replaced it with the new one. After a few months I can still hear the squeaking sound. Then I brought the car back to him again. He told me my right pad need to be replace. So, he replaced it with the new one. Few more months passed by I still hear can it. This time he told me my two rear end pads are worn out. So, he replaced it with the new one. It doesn't ends there...This time I brought it back now it the rotors disc are worn out. It' like the same routine like the braking pads. I kept on bringing my car back and forth months after months. It's cost me over $1000.00 and the problem is still there. Finally, I have enough with this madness. Two weeks ago I brought my car to the Lexus dealer for them to do the inspection. I went to Wilson and told him what causes the squeaking noise but he refuses to help me. He told me why do I kept on bugging him and he is refusing my service. He asked me to take my car to somewhere else to get it fix. I asked him I need all of the invoices where he brought all of my parts from so that I can call them up plus I still some warranty on it. I tried to start my car and it was a no go. I called AAA thinking it was the battery and they said it was fine. Might be the starter. I googled all the mechanics open on a Sunday and came upon this Auto repair shop. Called for a quote for the starter to be repaired and they quoted about 325. I knew this was reasonable because of how hard it was to attack my engine which is a 2002 Sebring. Got it towed and took it in. Wilson the owner worked on it right away. Within in 20 minutes after dropping it off I got a call not the starter might be an electrical problem and it would cost me 145.00. I asked if he could call me and let me know if it could be fixed tonight if not I'll pick it up tomorrow. Considering they were closing soon and I knew it was late. Next call I get was at about 5:30 letting me know come pick it up it is ready. Incredible! incredible service and Wilson one of the last honest mechanics. Also to be open on a Sunday helps out for such an emergency. All I can say is they had me HELLO. Thank you Wilson for working hard to get it done so I could get to work the next day.
