I came here for my first MRI as suggested by doctor and pain clinic. Got through most of Remember the Titans minus the beginning and part of the way through something called McFarland, USA before they saw me. The MRI wasn't bad, I can see how claustrophobic people would have trouble. Staff was friendly if a bit fast in explaining things, they asked if I had questions but kept talking so glad I didn't have any. read more

You come in and leave and the front desk staff does not say hello or goodbye. There's trays and trays of food right in the front desk office and everyone working is munching as they work. Don't tou guys have a break Bathroom is not very clean, it's 1 pm. Covid times? Keep everything clean, eh?! When I booked the appointment, I asked if they can put a pillow of sort on an area that is tender and they said yes they can. As soon as I got there for my MRI, the tech said they can't do that. So I had to sit in the machine for 28 minutes in pain while resisting to move. It was painful and so uncomfortable. Then they did the another/second MRI on a different part that they finally gave me a pillow to support the painful area. Also, the long dark haired older lady just taped my mask on my face before I went in the machine. No warning- she just put the tape in and said "There's a lot people who come in and out of here & if they're sick, I don't want you to get sick." Her hand was in my face when she put tape on my mask. What happened to 6 feet apart?????!!!!!!!! I have a reaction to adhesive and she didn't even ask or warn me that she was doing that. It was pretty rude. I do not recommend this place at all! read more

I have been a customer of Longhorn Imaging for many years. I have always had great experiences there. However, that changed when I went in for an MRI on July 3rd. I received the results rather quickly. It seems like they were in a hurry to get reports done before the July 4th holiday instead of being thorough. There was no level of detail in the MRI report nor was there a comparison to the one I did the prior year on July 5, 2024. This was quite disappointing because I went to a Sports Medicine practice and they said the same. Originally a Neurosurgeon ordered the imaging. I had a horrible experience at his practice and will not be returning there. As a result, I want to have thorough records for any other practice I go to. Next week I am going to an orthopedic surgeon. This provider sent me back for more X-rays than what the prior surgeon ordered. When I was there on Monday I asked the front desk for help to get a thorough MRI. They said I need to have my doctor call for that. It seems rather ridiculous to ask that when the tech who did the reading did the minimum work. I am paying for this service and that is not what I expected to get in the report. If I am the paying customer, why can't I get what I am being charged for and pay for? I would like to have a revised MRI report that has details in it please from this most recent MRI with a comparison to last year's MRI which had tons of details. Can you please help? Update: On 7/23 I connected to the COO on LinkedIn and sent this same message. I can see that she read it but did not have the common courtesy to respond. Canceled my appointment 20 mins before I got here because they stated that they did not get the correct paperwork even though they scheduled the appointment weeks in advance. Would not allow me to speak to anyone and refused to give me another appointment that same day once they got the paperwork. read more

I really can't stomach places like this. I had an appointment for an MRI. Longhorn Imaging blew up my cell phone for a week leading up to the appointment with texts and phone calls stressing to me how important and valuable their time is and to make sure that I arrive on time with all documents filled out. Upon arrival, I was given even more documents to fill out. The same repetitive information that I filled out online. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half until they were ready for me. The waiting room in small, smelly and very cramped. The front desk staff are unhelpful and oblivious to things. When it was time for the MRI, the lady who was prepping me for the machine was an absolute A-Hole. She was rushed and didn't GAF. She hit me in the head and scratched me with her nasty ass 3 inch nails because she was in a rush and didn't have any courtesy for me as she was strapping me in and getting me ready. There is a special place in hell for places and people like this. read more

I had 2 MRIs and had to pay for both up front which my insurance company said if they would have verified that i met my dedutible I would not have to pay full amount. Now I am trying to get a refund and was told it would take 30 days. 30 days have passed and now I am told it will take another 10 days. I was told by Longhorn they have 1000s of refunds to process so it takes awhile. Well if they do their due deligence then maybe they would not have so many refunds. Very unprofesstional! read more

Great experience. From the front desk to the service during the xray/imaging and prompt information as forecasted/predicted. Billing was spot on and knew what they were doing. No shenanigans surrounding billing trying to bend the process towards charging me 10 times the amount like their competitors attempts. read more

My first experience on the phone has room for improvement but after I was scheduled, I have only positive things to say. When you walk in there are two windows, if you are there for imaging (I assume most people are) then you have to go to the further window to check in. This was a little confusing but I imagine there has to be a reason I just don't see as a patient. I didn't have to wait too long and then I was called back by a gentleman, I believe his name was Shawn/Sean, he greeted me warmly, introduced himself and gave very clear instructions. I'm not entirely sure why my blood was drawn for my procedure, it wasn't much, but because I clearly didn't drink enough water beforehand, I almost blacked out which is very odd for me. In the moment I felt a little terrified feeling a loss of control of my body but Shawn/Sean kept trying to re assure me and then a lovely woman came in and started fanning me (I was drenched in sweat) and brought me water which helped to bring me back around. I can't believe I didn't get her name but she was such a doll. Both of them were great and patient with me and I really appreciated their time. read more

I discussed with the staff for 3-4 weeks about the MRI I was needing. I needed the MRI to show edema and spasticity. Well after driving over an hour to get to the place, they had handicap parking about 50-100 yards away from entrance door. I get in to check in standing at the front desk to get checked in, nobody in front of me. After 3-4 minutes I ask for a chair, and lady said she can't run credit card. So 5 minutes later she says we can take you to dressing room. By then my leg was hurting. so Brian the MRI TECH gets me in the machine, leg MRI went well, but when arm MRI was painful stuffed into the unit very uncomfortable and painful for 20-30 minutes. so I get the report and nothing was reviewed about spasticity, it's what I needed. $2000.00 waisted. read more

Their billing department is atrocious. I've called multiple times and left a voicemail to contact me back. I paid the 50% fee at time of service and asked for the payment plan. They drafted the next payment less than a week later through my HSA all in the same month. (which I was saving for eye exams and glasses). When I went to their business to settle this in person to provide an alternate credit card to draft from, their receptionist said she wasn't trained to do that. She admitted she knows their billing department is awful apologized on their behalf. The office is clean and fine. But when we're dealing with hundreds of dollars in payments that can not be handled correctly, this pisses me off. I would call and complain, but their billing department never answers. I won't yell at the office staff for things beyond their control. 1 star, thank your billing department. read more

They are very efficient and get the job done quickly. For an X-ray, they explain precisely how they want it to stand, sit or lie.

This place does not follow proper covid protocols. They didn't ask a single question about if I had any covid symptoms at check in. They did not take my temperature. People were wearing masks but the tiny waiting room was packed and full of people sitting side by side. People were coughing in the waiting room. I waited outside but I wanted to leave because of how unsafe I felt. I couldn't because they charge a $100 fee if you cancel. I just had an MRI at ARA in December and they stop you at the door for questions and temperature. So does DOC who referred me there. The tech and the MRI was fine but I made sure to tell DOC that Longhorn puts their patients at risk so they should not refer there. They also cost more than ARA. read more

My visit went very well. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My personal items were kept secure and safe. Keeping my hearing safe was taken seriously and hearing protection was placed in my ears. My comfort was definitely addressed as my imaging position was not exactly comfortable. The procedure took less time than I was told it was, bonus ! This was the best experience I have had with an MRI. My tech Sarah knew just what to do to keep he claustrophobia away even for someone who is not normally fearful. It was started about 30 Minutes after the scheduled time but was a great experience. Front office staff was kind and courteous as well. read more

This was by far the best experience I've ever had while having an MRI. The Staff was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The facility was immaculate and the care was exceptional. If you're a larger person I would not advise going here, the machine itself is very small and it can definitely make you feel claustrophobic. The radiologist is more concerned about about finishing his work versus accommodating patients who are terrified or feeling claustrophobic. Definitely will not be back. read more

Last August my eye doctor ordered an MRI from Longhorn Imaging because I was having double vision which was getting worse. Longhorn called to schedule appt. and I gave them all my insurance information and they said they needed to verify insurance and would call me back. They called back a few days later and said I didn't have insurance that would cover the MRI. Well, I've had the same insurance for about 25 years and a secondary (high option) insurance for 39 years. I asked them to please check it again and call me back because I truly was surprised at this. To make long, short this back and forth went on for over 2 1/2 months (with my condition getting worse ) I finally called my doctors office and asked if there was another imaging source I could go to. He sent the orders to ARA and they were able to get me in in a week. No insurance problem!!! Longhorn called me after 3 months and said my insurance was approved and I could make appt(?) (!) Their insurance staff is incompetent, obviously, and the phone staff lack common sense, to say the least. read more

After a long stressful drive. Being in a degree of pain, ergo the reason for a MRI, I was met by impersonal, matter of fact personnel. Though I believe the medically required MRI was conducted successfully I don't believe I should have been subjected to negative, rude personnel. read more
