Dr. Geck stood out immediately because he did something that should be ordinary but, in our experience, was not: he treated my daughter like any other patient whose symptoms deserved to be investigated. He ordered significant testing, continued looking when the answers were not obvious, and made it clear that he did not want her to remain in pain without understanding why. His thought process was also notably similar to the physicians we encountered at Cleveland Clinic--careful, evidence-based, and willing to consider the complexity of the entire clinical picture. Dr. Geck is well known in our area for performing emergency and complex spinal surgery. That kind of work requires far more than technical surgical skill. It requires the ability to assess a patient quickly, recognize what matters among competing findings, and make difficult decisions in high-risk situations. As the mother of a daughter with significant disabilities, I will always remember Dr. Geck as one of the physicians who treated her with genuine dignity. Her imaging was difficult and her case was complicated, but he did not dismiss her because of that complexity. We delivered our first son 10 months ago here and they were amazing. We plan to have our next children here. I've been present in other births at other Austin area hospitals and nothing compares to the care and quality at BSW Lakeway L&D. It's like they recruited the best nurses in central Texas. I can go on to say that their ICU is also amazing. About 13 months ago we said goodbye to my grandma there at the age of 94. They were so wonderful making her comfortable with her final breaths and so gracious to us while we said goodbye. Great bedside manner. Highly recommend this hospital all around.

He was very quickly checked out in the ER and, after tests, scans, and lab work, found he needed a stent 99% blockage in one artery. They put in the stent and he went home the next day. The food was great, the entire facility was very clean, if there was a need, they listened and promptly responded. Everyone worked in an efficient but thorough manner in each of the departments we dealt with. Since leaving we have been contacted about and then scheduled cardiac follow up care. I cannot find a single thing wrong with this hospital. Thank you very much for saving my husband's life.
