Everything was handled smoothly. When I arrived, my insurance card had been updated, and taking care of that was a breeze. The technician was terrific, as each one has always been before. She showed professionalism in her care. I always have great confidence in the quality of images that are taken. I've never had an insurance issue come up. Annually things are processed correctly.

Just walk in, tell the lovely, super friendly front desk staff your name, and done. I've visited mannnnnnnnnny times over the years and have never spent more than five minutes in the very large and clean waiting area. All of the techs are fabulous! Everything from routine imagining to diagnostic, they all go above and beyond to make me feel cared about and comfortable. With limited mobility, they are also very careful, patient, and eager to accommodate any of my needs (e.g., a step stool, removing my shoes for me, etc.). During MRIs they provide a new pair of no slip socks to keep the lil piggies warm (you get to keep them). And, they even cover my body with a cozy, heated blanket...very spa like! It's the small touches like these that make an uncomfortable, and sometimes a bit scary, process much more tolerable. I'm so grateful for everyone at ARA-WP. Best location in the ATX in my opinion. I was referred to this facility by my physician for an MRI on my foot. When I called to schedule…read morethe appointment, I was informed that their facility was out of network, but I wouldn't be charged anything. The facility would cover any costs incurred that my insurance didn't cover because they're new and building their business. Sounds easy for me, so I agreed to move forward with the appointment. When I arrived, I was asked to fill out lots of paperwork, all of which was normal- except the last three pages which were legal documents stating that I was responsible for anything my insurance didn't cover. The third document stated that if I was in need of financial assistant and had either a high deductible plan or was paying cash that they would offer some sort of payment for me. Well, that isn't the type of insurance I have, so I asked the administrator present for further detail. I let her know that I was uncomfortable signing the documents because I had been told that all of my expenses were covered verbally over the phone (she was actually the one that told me this) yet these documents stated otherwise. I let her know I'd be happy to sign these documents if she could provide me written documentation of what we discussed on the phone. She replied that she couldn't. I asked if she could email me a statement. Again, she said she couldn't. I replied that I didn't feel comfortable signing these documents without something in writing to protect my interest. I asked if I could take the documents home to look them over with my husband (my foot is broken, I would really like this MRI so I can get the correct treatment even if I'm feeling like this is getting weird) and she ripped them out of my hands and said that she would be shredding them. I'm sorry- how sketchy is that? I promptly left and called my doctor to let them know not to refer to the facility any more. I typically don't read these type of documents at a doctors office, yet thank goodness I did! If they're in network, great! If not, watch out.

I came here for an MRI of knee. My MRI was booked on Friday for that following Monday. I had no…read moreproblem finding the place. My MRI was STAT since my follow up with the orthopedic was the very next morning. My orthopedic got my results in time for my appointment which was awesome. While waiting for my appointment I had the opportunity to grab a few mints and a water bottle. I could of even grabbed a few of the snacks available or a coffee. The MRI tech was super nice, cute and made the process easy and painless. It was nice to be offered headphones that tuned into a radio station that I picked and also a warmed blanket since that place is chilly.

I am very happy to say that my experience there was fantastic from the point of checking in at the hospital in the morning to being discharged after the procedure was finished and I was ready to leave later on that night. A small army of very nice, very competent people helped me through every step of a rather scary and potentially dangerous operation. The nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff were especially compassionate and listened carefully to all my concerns, and then acted on them. The vibe there was always upbeat and positive. I really felt that these people cared about me and what they were doing. It definitely wasn't just a job for them. I'd like to shout out to the nurses there: Heather, Lexi and Joe. I had a minor complication after surgery and they stood by me, taking turns attending to me until the problem was fixed. Every person that I interacted with was patient, friendly and compassionate. What more can you ask of a hospital? I love to write reviews about food and restaurants, etc, but never about places like hospitals. Let's just say that I need to be very impressed if I am to spend my valuable time writing a review of a hospital. Thank you, Dr. Whitehill and staff. You guys are the best!

While in the hospital a year the nurses kept talking about the Dr. Z & how I'd love him. Hair thinning / loss 2. Rash on my torso 1. (Hair Loss) I'll include the before and after photos of 1 year going to Gavino and you'll be shocked at the difference. I had been going to a couple of different dermatologists before, but felt I was always getting a surface level treatment. When finally finding Gavino, I was surprised at the level of treatment they provide. I was prescribed 2 oral medications and a shampoo. I told Dr. Gavino how I had been on finasteride, and topical minoxidil before but saw okay results. He informed me he preferred oral minoxidil instead of topical to prevent breakage in my already thinning hair (bonus because taking the oral medication is SO much easier) and later added a new medication to boost my hair treatment. It's been 1 year and my hair is INSANELY healthier now, and the loss has completely been stopped. I plan on doing PRP at their clinic to continue to boost my hairs health, and will update later this year. 2. Rash - Super simple but again, I was able to get a quick appointment, determined what it was, and prescribed a cream that knocked it out in literally 2 days. Their office is definitely a cut above, and I'll breakdown what I've seen so far. - Texting only facility, which it's 2026 and I think just about everyone is tired of getting spam calls so this is a breath of fresh air - Staff is awesome! They're great at their jobs, smooth, professional, and extremely efficient - Gavino is the best dermatologist I've worked with! The guy actually gets things done, and has exceeded my expectations to where I've recommended him to friends that live hours away. Charismatic but also extremely knowledgeable to where he has walked me through the treatment plan and answered any and all of my questions! If you're still reading this review you're either really looking for someone good, or work at their office LOL all in all as a current patient, I cannot recommend them enough for your dermatology needs.

Some people don't know that doing this can make you resistant to antibiotics. I don't like that you can't talk directly to him with a question after a surgery and a diagnosis that you don't understand. You must text which is very odd. Or he wants a picture sent . I was a Derm nurse and know this is not a good thing to do. You need to be able to talk to him with a question. Also wait times have gotten too long. He finally got a service for after hours if there is a problem. my husband and I have changed dermatologists. But for the record, he's personable if that's what you're looking for...
