Just walk in, tell the lovely, super friendly front desk staff your name, and done. I've visited mannnnnnnnnny times over the years and have never spent more than five minutes in the very large and clean waiting area. All of the techs are fabulous! Everything from routine imagining to diagnostic, they all go above and beyond to make me feel cared about and comfortable. With limited mobility, they are also very careful, patient, and eager to accommodate any of my needs (e.g., a step stool, removing my shoes for me, etc.). During MRIs they provide a new pair of no slip socks to keep the lil piggies warm (you get to keep them). And, they even cover my body with a cozy, heated blanket...very spa like! It's the small touches like these that make an uncomfortable, and sometimes a bit scary, process much more tolerable. I'm so grateful for everyone at ARA-WP. Best location in the ATX in my opinion. Check in was easy, the staff was kind and helpful. The process was also kind and easy/ The technician even noticed that I had on sandals and gave me socks. He also offered me a warm blanket and a choice of music. My only feedback is that I was not told ahead that I needed an IV for the contrast and that I would have to wait afterwards to ensure no reaction to the dye. Otherwise, a really caring experience.

He told us to go to another location which was 25 mins away in Manor. We asked to schedule an appt with him and he said he was too busy to help us. He told us to call the scheduling number again. We were standing there at the desk and he would not schedule the appt. which was terribly rude. We left and scheduled appt for the following week. This was for my elderly mother who needed the results swiftly. The xray itself was a quick and painless process but ARA took a week to get the results to the doctor. I had to call them and of course got the runaround that they are experiencing long wait times for results etc etc. It is what it is, but they need to fix these understaffing issues all around. It was a terrible customer service experience.

The nurses and doctor were all kind, but the guy who came in to start the anesthesia never addressed me at all. I am a definite proponent of efficiency, but this was a very assembly line like experience.

Medical bills kill us, but CPI is the only provider who makes sure we get the best price, every…read moretime. For starters, our insurance doesn't cover imaging, so the provider doesn't have to bill us at the insurance rate, they can bill at the much higher Full Rate. And labs like LabCorp and Clinical Pathology Labs do indeed bill at the Full Rate, which is sometimes 6x higher than the insurance rate. But CPI lets us pay at the insurance rate, which saves us a ton. Further, sometimes self-pay is cheaper than going through insurance, so CPI always checks both prices and then bills us at whatever option is cheaper. We have dozens of providers and *nobody* else does this. Finally, Paige remembers us and always asks about the kids (she remembers details about them). We don't experience that anywhere else, either.

I was not in pain when I went in, but Mr. House elicited so much unexpected pain that I screamed suddenly in response. He did not react to my pain at all, but instead, continued to give test instructions. Mr. House was in a hurry. When the test was completed, he wanted me off the table as quickly as possible and told me to sit in another chair to put on my shoes. The MRI room is not adjacent to the bathroom, so patients have to walk through the halls in hospital attire in front of other patients before getting dressed. I was in pain for days after, and had to return to my doctor. I reported my experience to my doctor and to the manager of Central Park Imaging. On the facility's Website the profile for Gary House states: "He loves working in healthcare and helping people find out why they hurt." In my case, I was not treated respectfully, and Gary House put me in extreme physical and emotional pain. I have never received mistreatment at other imaging facilities.

As a parent, that's such a relief when you're worried about your child. The doctors are knowledgeable, take the time to explain everything, and never make you feel rushed. What I appreciate most is how wonderful they are with kids. Everyone is patient, caring, and does a great job helping children feel comfortable during a stressful situation. We're so grateful to have Family Emergency Room Georgetown in our community and recommend them to everyone we know.

Their billing person confirmed this. Their website has a lot of info about the billing process as well. -They are flexible and will work with you to negotiate your dues to get the accounts closed out. I was stressing about the bills but their super nice billing lady helped us out. -Open 24/7. I looked at other options that were technically deemed in-network for my insurance plan and some were closed on Sunday. One of our visits was on Easter too. Why even bother with another ER when this place will bill in-network anyway? -Amazing nurses and doctors. Everyone is really nice and patient and takes great care of you. We've been there 3 times since November. Twice for my little guy (he was 1 during our first visit). Nurses and doctors were so nice and patient with him (and he definitely screamed a lot). -It's never crowded or full of sickly people. Not sure if that's a sign they don't have enough business though? I visited Dr. O'Connell's imaging center three years ago. The waiting area was calm, clean and…read morequiet. I was seen on time. The technician was fine, nothing special to write home about. However, it was Dr. O'Connell's attention to detail, professionalism and caring bedside manner that wins 5 stars for this review. She took her time during my examination and gave me her interpretation then and there. She sat with me to address any questions I had as well as gave me advise. I left her clinic reassured. Her office followed up with a letter confirming that my results were normal / benign. In contrast, I was sent to ARA (Austin Radiological Association) a few weeks ago to review a situation in my other breast. Although their office was also clean and quiet, the doctor never took the time to see me. He communicated his vague conclusions through the nurse. I had a few questions, which had to go through the nurse, and I had to wait until she returned from asking the doctor. This was a terrible experience as a patient when compared to the experience I had at Dr. O'Connell's office. I will go see her office for a second opinion, given that I know she is thorough. Who knows how thorough ARA is since I never got to see or talk to the doctor.
