I was so excited to confirm my pregnancy via ultrasound and scheduled an appointment with Bluebonnet based on reviews. Well it didn't go well for me! The day of my appointment I was told they thought I was scheduled for another day (despite email and text confirmation) and all the ultrasound techs were sent to get covid vaccines and no one was available to do my ultrasound. The owner Barber was apologetic but could not provide the service. I was so upset. I was unable to find another appointment for that day since it was last minute!!! Thankfully the following day I was able to schedule with Bundle of Joy in Georgetown and it was the best experience ever!!!! I was so thankful things worked out the way they did!! I've been to bluebonnet diagnostics back in 2014 with my first child for the 3D/4D and just recently with my second. They have always been the best and only place I will go to for 3D/4D. Prices and specials are amazing! Also a big plus, if your baby is being difficult and they can't get good images, they will reschedule you as many times as it takes for a re-do! Wonderful service!! I went in at 14 weeks for a gender scan and my stubborn baby would NOT uncross their legs. She tried everything for me! Moving me around, letting me stretch, etc. After 25-30 minutes the baby still hadn't uncrossed them but she told me from what she was able to see, she was sure it was a boy. I went home and watched the ultrasound video and wasn't convinced. Two weeks later I realized that both of us had forgotten about the 3D sneak peek part of the package. I called and they were happy to let me come back in to do it. She even spent 10 minutes or so in 2D reassuring me that my baby is in fact a boy, free of charge! I originally found them on a groupon deal but they sold out before I got around to buying it. I was a bit bummed, but a couple of weeks later I called to ask them how much a package was. The lady told me that they were having a special for $80 with 9 wallet size, and 8 bigger sizes ( I'm not sure what the exact size was), and a cd. My little one wasn't exactly being cooperative for her photo session, so they told me to come back in a week and they would try again free of charge! I came back the next week and got a great set of photos of her. The staff here was great and extremely friendly. The scheduling was easy. I purchased a groupon. The waiting room is spacious, but the ultrasound room was extremely small. I went at 30 weeks and baby wasn't the most cooperative, but the tech seemed very rushed. We had family there and she did a poor job of explaining things. I can't give this place enough stars! My husband and I drove here from Fort Hood after being referred here by quite a few people around and we didn't really know what to expect with this being our first pregnancy. We went in at 15 weeks hoping to get a gender and I drank a pop before going in to get baby a little active to hopefully make it easy for the tech to get a look. We got there and the place was very easy to find. We walked in and filled out our paper and was in the room within minutes. The technician I believe her name was Monica, was very nice! Very welcoming! She had my husband and I go in the room get comfortable and she started right away. Baby wasn't shy and immediately gave us a look letting us know he was a boy! She let us sit there for a couple minutes watching him move around all active and have us our 3D peek and also got the heartbeat! We will definitely be back to get more as the pregnancy goes on to get more looks at our son! read more

We went to get an ultrasound done yesterday. Our package was... **The Rosebud - $120** For 22 weeks and up! 20-30 minute scan in 2D/3D/4D 8 3×5 color prints on photo paper 9 wallets on photo paper All images provided on 1 CD 1 DVD of the entire session Gender determination ----------------------------- But you know what? The session was only 14 minutes and I only got 1 DVD. The lady said entire session is on DVD. I didn't ask (try to be nice) if have a pictures as promised. Once I got home I checked on the DVD, there is only 14 minutes of session and no pictures. The lady was nice, but the place and other things is very poor such as ran out of water for patient and also the tea/coffee machine was out of order. Oh! the quality of sonogram was poor, when I walked in I saw some sample on the album and in frames I was disappointed, because the pictures was unclear. Then I experienced myself it was poor as I thought. Both of them seemed unprofessional. It is a waste of my time and money. By the way, I will call them on Monday, tell them where is all the pictures on CD and why all the entire session was only 14 minutes not 20-30 minutes as advertised. I wouldn't recommend! read more

I hesitate to post this negative review because the staff is so nice, but I feel like I need to note a few things for prospective mommies using their services. I have gone to this company twice for two different pregnancies and both times, they have been wrong. The first time, they told me they were 90-95% sure I was having a girl, and I had a boy... totally forgivable. The second time, was worse for me. I have had two miscarriages and am currently pregnant. I started bleeding on a Friday night and rather than waiting until Monday to see my doctor, I called them first thing Saturday morning to see if they could get me in. The owner was extremely kind and understanding and got me in almost immediately. They did an abdominal us and told me I was measuring what I thought I was (7 weeks) and they could see the baby but it was too early to see the heartbeat. Again, they could not have been kinder and told me everything looked fine. On Monday, I went to my regular doctor who did a vaginal us and was shocked when she said I was measuring 5 weeks and there was no baby... but it was probably too early. I was convinced I was having a miscarriage at that point, because just two days earlier bluebonnet had seen a baby... after an excruciating two weeks, I went back to my doctor to check again, convinced of a miscarriage, and was shocked to see a healthy baby with a heartbeat on the screen! Bluebonnet was wrong about the measurement and the baby. My ending is happy, but I feel my nerves were unnecessarily put through the wringer by bad information. read more

I've been to Bluebonnet Diagnostics for an ultrasound 4 times over the last few years and every single time was the same experience: amazing and affordable. The first few times I needed an ultrasound were painfully stressful, over the course of our 3 yrs of infertility and the hospital we were going to was either too expensive or couldn't fit us in soon enough. We paid cash and decided to go to Bluebonnet, despite it being a 45 min drive. Barbara, I believe she's the owner, has gone out of her way to not only fit us in her schedule but treated us more like family then a client, with her patience and warm spirit. The facility was home-like and inviting. This last time we used them was for our 20-wk diagnostic for our baby girl, a quite different (positive this time!) reason for an ultrasound. Our little one was hiding and they were so patient to let me walk around, drink some water, and even offered for us to come back (free of charge!!) to confirm the sex. I will forever recommend Bluebonnet Diagnostics to anyone who asks me. We had a really incredible experience. We called another place first, Miracle in Sight, but I had a HORRIBLY unprofessional and rude experience with them and chose to cancel my appointment. I called Bluebonnet and they were able to fit me in, which was great, I called on a Wednesday and they had something for that Saturday. Barbara, the owner, was so kind on the phone, I was already excited about going. She gave me a discount on the package I chose because I had a bad experience elsewhere, which is incredible and completely unnecessary. She definitely didn't have to do that and I would have gone to her regardless. You can tell that she really cares about her customers and the experience they have. The appointment itself was great. Monica did my scan (small world, she was a former tenant of mine at the apartment complex I used work at). She was AWESOME! I can tell she really loves what she's doing and she was so very genuinely excited about everything we saw in the scan. I drank a small coffee from Starbucks before going, I know that always wakes my baby up and wanted him to be moving a lot so we could get great pictures, it worked perfectly. He was very active and we got a ton of great shots. Absolutely everything about my experience with Bluebonnet was nothing less than amazing. Their customer service is far superior to anything I've experienced and definitely way better than the brief encounter I had elsewhere. Ultimately, I am so thankful I switched to Bluebonnet. Their prices are totally reasonable and the experience is worth it. Please, please go to them if you're thinking about doing a 3D sonogram. You won't be disappointed. read more

It's cheap and I've been here several times (at the old georgetown location)...but the new round rock location is BAD. It smelled HORRIBLE outside and in my first trimester, that's rough. The inside of this really questionable tiny building had the dirtiest carpet ever. The whole place needs some serious cleaning. They're cash only now but didn't mention that upfront, glad I happened to have cash on me for once. Images were awful this time ("I think this might be the baby")...they couldn't find the heartbeat and offered to redo it another time...but when I called to schedule that (only bc I was worried, not bc I wanted to go back there), they didn't have any availability. Nothing about it felt professional and I'd rather go back to Miracle in Sight (even though they're famous for being rude) and leave with some awesome photos and wait in a clean room than do this again. The price is right, but you get what you pay for. I went in for some early screenings because of past pregnancies, I wanted to make sure the baby was in the right place. The screenings are so quick, less than five minutes each, and the images are so zoomed out. They rush you through and insist everything's fine, but barely answer your questions. Instead of a zoomed-in image of the fetus, you get an image of the entire uterus with a tiny white blob. I realize that there isn't much to see in the early weeks anyway, but these are the lowest quality images I've ever seen. They're friendly and affordable, but I'd rather pay more to get better images, honestly. read more

I did my gender determination at 14 weeks and found out I was having a boy and still having a boy! They are knowledgeable and great pricing. Since I was a returning customer I received a small discount which was nice, and I received a cd and about 4 pictures. Such a great experience with both my pregnancies (7 years apart)! The owner is so kind and caring and was able to work out a smaller package deal for me because I had already seen my baby in 3D at the doctor's office, but she would not cooperate for a full face picture. I just wanted a few pictures but got more than I paid for! I also told the owner about a placental lake my OB noticed and asked if it was normal, so she had the ultrasound tech, Monica, check it out and she eased my mind that it is normal. Monica was so thorough and checked every part of the baby even though she didn't have to since I was just there for face shots. She was so patient and knowledgeable, and gave me plenty of viewing time, probably way extra. I highly recommend this place if you want caring people who go above and beyond! read more

Used a groupon and it wasn't quite time for the groupon so I went in for a regular gender ultrasound and saved the groupon for a later date. Even though I knew the sex it was nice to have pictures since my dr. didn't give me any. When we went back for our second ultrasound at 31 weeks - our ittle nugget was not cooperating. Even though he wasn't cooperating they still honored the groupon (CD, DVD and prints) and set me up for another time fo rme and my husband to come in. They were even understanding when I told them that I couldn't come back within the 10 days. I live in New Braunfels and my husband is a police officer and doesn't have all weekends off, they were able to see me at 34 weeks and our little nugget was way more cooperative and we got another CD, DVD and prints and didn't charge me for a second time. The staff is very nice and acommadating! The only thing was if you wanted to buy more prints or a CD/DVD you had to pay with cash as their system had been hacked and hadn't been fixed since the first time I went in at 19 weeks. read more

I just had an ultrasound there and I am rather disappointed. I seen these reviews and assumed they would be great but it really didn't turn out well for me. I paid for the gender determination, the pictures are pretty awful and she didn't take the time to get any better ones I'm not sure why. I showed the pictures to a few people and they were shocked at the poor quality. From start to finish it lasted 4 minutes. I'm just really disappointed. I won't be going back I'll just go to a different place for my 3d ultrasound I will have in my second trimester. read more
