I highly recommend going to first glimpse imaging to find out your gender! My OBGYN would have had me wait until 18-20 weeks depending on the availability of appointments and I would have had to go to temple tx! Which is hours from austin. Anyway that being said I had purchased a special $50 for a Disc with lots of photos and two printed 2D images. You can go as early as 15 weeks if you want a guarantee on the gender. I went at 16 weeks, and I was super surprised! This place is a small studio but it's intimate and perfect for you and your loved one to find out the gender and get some great pictures! We spent what seemed like about 35-40 minutes watching her on the big screen and getting some fun ultrasound photos. Our little baby had her hands over her face so I didn't see much on the 3D but I would def go back when I'm around 26 weeks to get some fun shots of her face and see what she looks like! read more

I highly recommend First Glimpse Imaging. I called here because my doctors office didn't have an appointment available the week I wanted to have our 3D/4D images done. I'm so glad I did though because the appointment was better than I expected. She made sure not that only I was comfortable but the whole family was & accommodated us perfectly & was even able to perform her job with two toddlers in the room. Her space is very clean and well kept even though it is small. She takes her time and doesn't look at the clock every two minutes to rush you out. The prices for the heart beat with and without stuff animal are great too if you aren't satisfied with the way the heartbeat sounds just let her know in that moment and she'll redo it for you. I made an appointment as OB visits have restricted partners from attending most visits. My husband had not been to more than 2 prenatal office visits and missed the 36 week ultrasound. I was excited to get an appointment within the same week, was very seamless. Everyone was required to wear a mask for COVID precautions including our tech. I would highly recommend Tammy! We went in for a 3D/4D Ultrasound at 27 weeks. We did the same for our son and really wanted to get a good look. Our little one was not the most cooperative but Tammy was very patient. She also looked at the heart rate for us and answered all our questions, such as "does she have hair" and "can you make sure it's a girl". We appreciate her patience. I was sick at the time, so I probably wasn't the most excited patient, but it was definitely neat to see her face. read more

Great experience, I would highly recommend going here for your gender determination or any ultrasound appointments! We went to find out our baby's gender at 14 weeks and could not have been more impressed. I was skeptical at first, worried that it might be too soon to confirm gender (reading all the negative nancy's on the internet didn't help my skepticism)-- but Tammy was so great, made us feel so comfortable, and was able to give us confirmation that she was 100% sure it's a boy! When I called, Tammy was very sweet and helpful in providing her recommendation as to when I should come in to capture the best images. We ended up here because of a Groupon. The business is tucked in a small strip center with no sign visible from the street (there is a small sign in the window). We went in last week for our one hour appointment but our baby was not cooperating/facing the right direction so the owner offered to have us come back in at a later date to try again FREE of CHARGE. I appreciated this a lot and today when we went back in he turned around and gave us some great shots. In hindsight I would have called and booked directly and asked for the Groupon rate. I think it is just a one-woman operation so I feel kind of bad how much time we took up with most of the money going to Groupon. If I could give more stars, I would! I was tol by OBGYN that they wouldnt recommend me getting it done at 38 weeks and if they couldn't get good pics, then I would be SOL. She was amazing and very sweet. Told me she would give up to an hour if baby is being difficult, made me feel a lot better about getting the shots I wanted! She spent time getting good shots and showed she cared to get them as well. She had a great special going on that ended up getting us more for our money versus the OBGYN we were originally going to do it at. I got 3D pictures and a 4D video. Also, she had extras too, I love the magnetic frames for the fridge! Great gifts for grandparents. Overall excellent experience and will go back to her for every kid in the future! read more

I went to my first ultrasound and she didn't see anything , she said "maybe you're not pregnant", when after a blood test I was 9 weeks pregnant, I paid the 35 dollars and she told me to come back whenever I want afterwards. Now I called her and she said no discount in my next visit even when the first visit was a waste of my money and time cuz she was not able to see a baby . My wife and I went in to see our baby girl at 32 weeks. Tammy was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. The baby was cooperative at first, so we were able to get some great shots. Near the end of the session, the baby decided to face inwards, which made the ultrasounds difficult. We took a water break and walked around a bit to let baby girl move around, and went on for another 20 minutes. We had gotten the Plus package, which came with color/B&W photos plus two discs with more pictures and DVD of the session. The experience was very pleasant and we were able to have a keepsake for our pregnancy! Well this place might be great if she doesn't cancel all appointments and close for the day. I've had this appointment scheduled for 4 weeks and my husband took the day off from work to come. She called in the morning to reschedule because the office is closed today due to a "family emergency." It is just highly convenient that a family emergency would occur on Memorial Day weekend.
