We love this pediatric practice. All of the doctors and nurse practitioners are great! The front office is very friendly and efficient. It is easy to make same day sick appointments and the hold times are usually very minimal. The patient portal is very helpful for messaging the doctor and viewing patient info. They are very prompt with keeping the patient records up to date on the portal and replying to messages. The doctors are knowledgeable and courteous. Everyone there has a great bedside manner. They all show a genuine interest in your kids/family and their wellbeing. We previously came from a larger practice, and we much prefer Chisholm Trail. It feels like a family here and not a money making business like the larger practice we came from. read more

Best Pediatrician ever!! I can't recommend Chisholm Trail enough. I also love that if they are booked up they will try to book you at one of the other locations, which allows you to get it last minute if you have a sick kiddo. Colleen is absolutely awesome - my daughter feels extremely comfortable with her and she takes her time to explain/ answer all questions. You can tell that she genuinely cares and doesn't treat you as a number. My daughter had chronic UTIs from the time she was four months old so she has a little trauma and hesitancy toward doctors in general. She never gets scared when we walk into the office and everyone from the office staff to the NP's and Dr's are unbelievably kind, patient, and accommodating. read more

I really wanted to love Chisolm trail at forest creek. Unfortunately that was not the case. From my very first visit as a consultation before my son was born the man who was supposed to do it never showed up and the office staff had no clue about my appointment. Some lady took the appointment over and even told me she has no idea what information to share with me. I should have ran then.. The nurse decided to share her opinion of my mother and told me she was so sorry she was my mom and she is so overbearing and even gave me a hug telling me how bad she felt for me. Not only did this happen once but it happened EVERY single visit. Dr. Oey is very passive and non informative. When I asked why my child was having hard stools her answer was "I don't know" I'm sorry but that is YOUR job to figure it out. I also brought my child in for a concern on why one of his cheeks were bigger than the other. She told me he just had chubby cheeks. After my own further research I found it could be because of plagiocephaly and we are not having to get a helmet for my son. How does a pediatrician drop the ball so many times? She spends maybe ten minutes with the patient and I was having to call back every few days to get answers. Luckily I took my son to the #1 recommended pediatrics in Austin and they have been beyond amazing. I should have went there from the get go. I just started coming here with my new born and I really like the staff! When I went in for my consultation meeting while pregnant, I almost left without choosing them because I was waiting a bit. Shane ended up not being able to make it, but Saj took over and was great. I got to meet Dr. Oey and liked her right away. I noticed how the staff treated the patients.. they were very friendly and kind. Sandra is amazing! When we went in for a visit with our newborn she offered to let us out through the back since there were kids in the waiting room who were sick. She is so nice and friendly every time I check out with her. Another awesome nurse is Amber (I hope I remember her name correctly). Raquel was great too! I've met with her once, but I really liked her energy and expertise. I have really enjoyed my interactions with the staff so far and they have been helpful! read more

There's legitimately none better than Dr. Andrew Cavanagh! He is everything a pediatrician (or MD period) should be... compassionate, patient, thorough, he will call upon resources if he's uncertain about a condition or scenario, funny, & just very appreciated by our family. He has seen my child through a Dx of hearing loss in the 1st grade. Taken care of a terrified kiddo with an injury at 5 that presented concern but was handled awesomely by simply double checking with a specialist over the phone prior to treatment. He has seen us through illnesses, well checks, shots, anxiety (child's), now teen years & all they entail. Better yet, my child trusts him completely! read more

We love this location. We decided on this practice based on reviews for first time parents and boy I am glad we went! The front staff is wonderful but the real gem is Cori the nurse! Just in case anyone is wondering she is the reason we stay! We started with Dr.B and she left the practice (super sad we liked her a lot) However just because she left we never lost faith in this place! Cori ALWAYS goes above and beyond for my little family! If I have any concerns she is quick to call me back and talk me through just about anything! We followed her to the new Dr. just because we love her so much! She is the reason we love coming here! We are greeted with love and leave with love and I couldn't ask for better people to love my son!!! My husband and I have been taking our daughters to CTP Forest Creek for the last 2.5 years. The staff has always been incredibly kind and patient with us. We were sad to see Dr. Benhammou leave as she was the girls' primary pediatrician; however, we are extremely pleased with the additional staff they have added. Raquel Goytia is amazing with our girls! She is always pleasant and very knowledgeable on any questions that we may have. She always goes above and beyond to ensure that the girls are comfortable, and that we receive the care we need during that particular visit. We're able to get in same day if needed and even virtual appointments have been effective. We have been using CTP in Forest Creek since my first son was born in 2017 and we have loved it! Sandra and Britney at the front are both so sweet and accommodating and go out of their way to make sure we can get a same day appointment if one of our boys is sick. We had a different pediatrician within the practice, but after they left we have used Dr. Gary and NP Raquel and their care has been exceptional with both boys. All of the nursing and support staff are always so good with the kids! Highly recommend and would be staying if we weren't moving! read more

Good doctors but the staff is the problem. Starla gave my wife a hard time because she didn't pay the for the visit all at once. Even though we've paid off every other bill prior. She speaks in a condescending manner and has a snarky, negative attitude. The nurse practitioner by the name of Raquel Goytia was extremely unfriendly, rude and rushed their visit. She made a derogatory remark about my wife's appearance to the other nurses present that day. She obviously feels comfortable talking negatively about patient families in a professional setting. My wife brought all this to Mr. Shane Littleton's attention- he is the Pediatrics Chief Executive Officer and he was not much help. He didn't care for the issues above as they were not addressed. read more

We just recently moved to the area and needed to find a pediatrician for my daughter 9 and son 5. I posted on next door app asking people to share their recommendations. Many people posted other places but for some reason Chisholm stood out to me. I called for a new patient appointment and they where able to get me the very next day. I loved that they sent me all the paper work online so I could just fill it out online. I was able to check in and pay my copay all from my phone. Staff was super friendly, and willing to answer all my questions. I have NEVER waited for such a short period in a doctors office as I did that day. They took my daughters vitals and being seen by Nurse Practitioner Colleen in less than 5 minutes. Colleen was AMAZING!!!! She was so attentive and just had a warm personality to her. Fast forward to today, I had to take my son in. I called at 8am and they could see me as soon as 10. My son doesn't like going to the DRs so I was a little nervous on how he would react. But Colleen was so friendly with him. I could tell he was very comfortable with her. She took her time and made sure that he was feeling good. So if you are looking for a GREAT pediatrician office this is the place!! read more

Their discriminatory policy of not seeing patients born at home is beyond disgusting and the furthest from "First do no harm" that a doctor can get. There is a zero percent chance they will ever get my business with policies such as their new "no home birth newborns allowed." Homebirth is actually SAFER than a hospital birth for low-risk pregnancies and healthy mamas and babies and given Texas has one of the highest infant and maternal death rate in the country, you would think they would acknowledge the statistics that prove this and ENCOURAGE Homebirth for those who are truly eligible. I've been taking my son to this location since he was born. It is wonderful. The staff is kind and accommodating. They have two rooms for nursing mothers if baby needs to eat while you wait. The nurses are so sweet and Dr. Gaty is the best! =) They have been able to fit us in for same day/next morning appointments on short notice. The waiting room is clean and has a cozy, rustic vibe to it. I recommend this office to all of my friends. read more

Terrible experience. We have a wonderful pediatrician in Northwest Austin, but after moving to east Pflugerville we wanted to find a provider closer to us. My daughter was sick with possible strep, so I called for an appointment. I was placed in hold several times and asked for the same information three separate times. I was a little annoyed but they had great reviews so I did not think much of it. I should have realized it then that Chisolm Pediatrics was not a good idea. I got to me appointment and they could not find me in the schedule. They then told me that my appointment was at the Georgetown location. Not once, during the back and forth of our conversation was I told the appointment was not at the Round Rock location. I dialed the number available for the Round Rock location without knowing that they use the same number for both locations. They did not try to be accommodating, but instead were condescending. Do not trust these people to have your child's best interest at heart. Even though conveniently located, I will never come here again. read more

Ms. Taylor is the most amazing nurse at administering vaccines that I've ever met. My kids have been misdiagnosed 2 times by this practice. My daughter had strep and it wasn't diagnosed. After running almost a 105 fever I took her to a pediatric urgent care where she was immediately diagnosed with Strep after running an ACCURATE culture. My son was given the wrong medication for a staph infection he contracted at school. Will be changing practices immediately. read more

We love Chisholm Trail Pediatrics! We see Dr. Gaty but have also seen Dr. Cavanagh. Both have been amazing with our son. They take time to talk to you and remember things you told them from your last visit. Dr. Gaty always puts us at ease with his calm temperament and we never feel rushed while talking to the doctors. I'm questioning about today's visit... I was directed to be on time (because I apparently don't know Time management), arrived 30 min early, yet we were called back almost 10 min after the scheduled appointment time, I was charged $185 for a sick visit... but I was informed because the person was on hold, she couldn't verify the benefits or have a deductible.... now I feel dumb, because I was treated as a client without Insurance instead of the visit being "billed" after insurance was verified. I maxed out my FSA card, and because I was distracted by the price, I didn't have the ability to question her. But then again, you're supposed to be able to trust your doctor's practice... We've been fortunate to know Dr. Benhommou for the past five years, pretty much since we moved to the Austin/Round Rock area. She was originally recommended by a family friend who loved her and she's treated both our children - a six yr old girl and 9 month old son - many times, for both well and sick visits. Dr. B really does care about her patients and it shows in her passion for work. I love that she's thorough when we are dealing with a health issue we haven't seen before. Chisholm Trail Pediatrics in Round Rock is phenomenal. I really like Dr. B. She is extremely sweet and takes her time and thoroughly explains things and answers all my questions. The staff is always pleasant and it's super clean in the waiting room with an interesting aquarium for water turtles. I personally wanted a care provider which would respect my vaccine choices and CTP has done that. They encourage vaccination, but do not harass you in any way if you decline or adjust the schedule. Other facilities would flat out say they were not accepting patients who aren't following the CDC guidelines on vaccination - extremely unethical. For these reasons and many more, I cannot recommend CTP Forest Creek highly enough. read more

It has been one thing after another here :( but today was the end of us seeing this group of pediatricians. When we toured the office it was with the CEO who is clearly a great business man and sales person. He told us his doctors would be available even if we needed them at night. That they regularly called back patients even off hours. He painted an image of a qualified and caring team. Our first doctor there was the one woman doctor they have (I don't recall her name). We brought our baby in for a next day visit after leaving the hospital and she had lost weight. She spoke down to us and was very brash. She was overly emotional and concerned about the weight loss leaving us as first time parents extremely concerned and in tears. The next day we came back and our baby girl had gained triple what would be required as healthy and decided to give another doctor in the office a chance. Dr Gaty is a very sweet and kind man. We enjoyed his work with our doctor and time with him. We asked him for advice on a delayed vaccine schedule and he supported the idea and said there would be no harm in it. Last night our 11 week old woke up congested and coughing. This morning she was a bit worse so we waited by the phone until 8am to call in and book a visit. As part of what the CEO sold us about his caring amazing family owned facility was that they would always be here for same day sick visits. We called... and called... and called. They were closed. Nothing on their websit. No messages given to the nurse line that answers when they were closed (yes nurse line, never once a doctor in our office like the CEO said). I we spoke to nurses twice. The first time around 820am and they said they didn't know why the office wasn't answering. The second time they said that at 840am they received word that the office wouldn't be open until 10am. We had driven the 20 minutes from our house to the office at this point when the nurse line was able to tell us they wouldn't be opened. And the nurse said this was not the first time communication had been poor from these guys as she apologized for something she couldn't control. Meanwhile our 11 week old pukes as we sit outside the office. There is no sign on the office door, nothing on the webisite but they aren't open. When we called other pediatricians they said they couldn't see a baby without all vaccines completed. Why would dr Gaty tell us about that possibility as a con to delayed shots. Bottom line- they are dealing with the most precious and important thing in our lives, our babies, and didn't even answer thier phones or communicate with their patients or answering service that they would be out. Bad timing for us today but all in all I wouldn't recommend my enimies take their kids here. read more

My kids are a bit older, 13 and 11, but their anxiety about doctors isn't any less for their age. For once they dont mind going and love seeing everyone when we have to go.
