Avoid this place at all cost I walked into an empty emergency room. I asked them to see a doctor for my eye and I asked them what is the exam fee because I don't have insurance. The receptionist said she doesn't know. I waited for 10 minutes. they call me and I asked the nurse. When am I gonna see the doctor? He said he doesn't know nobody knows anything in this place and yet they expect me to trust that the doctors know what they're doing. I left 1 min after no one could give me an answer. Everything started good. I went for a new patient establishment appointment & Jorah Murray APRN was super helpful & attentive at my visit. I had a few issues so she ordered labs. I had them done & insurance denied due to medical necessity. I mentioned it at my follow up visit & she noted that they would recode & resubmit to insurance. That never happened. I have reached out to the office multiple times since with no response. When I sent a message to billing I am told I have to reach out to the provider. When i send messages to the provider I get no responses back. I tried called & I got pushed to a voicemail & had to leave a message with no call back. My balance has now been sent to collections since it has been 6 months since my labs & I still can't get any response through the portal or a call back from the office. I Will definitely be looking for a provider elsewhere cause this office seems to not want to respond. read more

another update regarding their hours of operation. They keep telling people over the phone to get there anytime after 8 AM except the clinic doesn't open till 9 AM on Saturdays. My Baylor Scott & White physician of more than 10 years in Lago vista, Loren Fisher, has been the best PCP ever. However Baylor Scott and White, good luck at getting any appointment, ever with them. I went to see a doctor for a non-emergency visit. It took a long time to get it scheduled, as they said they didn't get my paperwork. My doctor's office (who I have a good relationship with) had to fax it twice. The doctor I saw was fine. Nice and polite, but it was a quick 10 minute visit. Then the bill came. The doctor and "facility" bill you separately, so you'll pay double what you expect. It wasn't worth it, in my opinion. I called them to verify, and they said that all Baylor Scott & White clinics charge a facility fee. For what? Choose a different provider that doesn't charge you fees for no reason. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences with BS&W. I had a recurring problem with my feet and the doctors at my last office just blew it off saying it was arthritis. I went in to have my new doctor at the Cedar Park, Baylor Scott and White clinic look at it, and left with a referral to X-ray and podiatry. They took the x-rays before I left! My doctor listened and was responsive to my needs. I now have a diagnoses and know what my exact problem is. I like that if they don't have someone in the building, I can see someone at a different clinic. When I call, the person on the phone is courteous. Their online patient portal is easy to use and my doctor responded to my non-urgent message the same day, even though they tell you that they may take 48 hours to get back with you. They available refused to help my 6 year old daughter and were exceptionally rude and told me she could wait in pain until Tuesday. read more

Only option was to back out where all data was lost. Tried several times with the same result. Not a good indication of a professional medical practice. Time to move on to another provider. Beware. You will be MASSIVELY over charged for service. Not just a little bit. I mean 150 times over what you might expect to pay. TL;DR: What I could have done myself for less than $30, the retail charge was over $5000 dollars for a simple 20 minute procedure. My story. I have neuropathy in my feet, and an issue with toenail fungus in my big toes. So I went in to have the toenails removed permanently. This involves removing the nail, and using a q-tip to apply phenol to chemically cauterize the nail bed. This is a simple in office procedure and takes a total of maybe 20 minutes. Phenol can be purchased by anyone for under $30. As I said, I have neuropathy, so I need no pain killer. I've often pulled these nails out myself when they got too distorted. I do not advise this; risk of infection and such, but that is beside the point. None the less, I did not need any sort of numbing, but the doctor insisted upon numbing the area anyway. So I figured a bill in the $300 to $500 range. What I got was a bill for $4060.87! Insurance got a deal, and they knocked off 2030.43 in discounts. Insurance paid 822.60, as I have few medical bills, and I had to pay up to my deductables. Leaving me with a bill of $1,207.84. Was that all? Heck no. That didn't cover the doctor, who wanted $650 per toe, and with discounts and insurance, that came "down" to 413.88 So out of pocket, this was 1,621.72. Plus my Insurance paid $822.60 So a procedure in the doctor's office that took a total of maybe 20 minutes of the doctors time, an unnecessary shot to deaden dead nerves, pry off of the nail, and the application of a $30 agent with a Q-tip.... $2444.32 dollars (insurance + me). I could have done this myself at home for under $50. I was happy to pay a premium of some hundreds of dollars to do it professionally, but not THAT much. And keep in mind BS&W thought this was at retail a $5607.87 procedure!!! For 20 minutes + a Doctors office + doctors time + a piddling amount of medicine, bandages, and such. read more

Husband returned hm from out of town trip not feeling well. Went to clinic ...saw Nurse PA. She did swab for covid, flu, infections, etc.. said she would call next day with results and needed meds. I needed to see an Endocrinologist asap. I called to scheduled with Dr. Burney. My initial contact was with a very nice lady who told me how to have my referral sent. My PCP faxed it to BSW 3 times. They still didn't get it and gave possible reasons why. After checking and re-checking there is no way they didn't get the complete documentation needed. I called yet again to check and this time the person with whom I spoke with was so condescending and not helpful. At the time this began there were options for getting it soon. Now, there aren't. My husband and I have been using BSW for 6 years now and have been very happy with them until this last visit. My husband went to the Cedar Park clinic for knee pain that he has had for years. His doctor from the BSW Northwest clinic recommended he get a cortisone shot and have it done here.Today we got the bill and like many others he was charged a $198.00 facility fee. That was upsetting as I have been to this clinic many times and have never been charged a facility fee, but the real kicker is he was charged $1500.00 for a specialty room to receive the shot. Now just to be clear, they didn't put him in a different room, he stayed in the same room the nurse originally took him to to see the doctor. It's beyond me how a clinic can change $1500.00 for this, oh and to top it off, he didn't see a doctor but a P.A. Unfortunately with practices like this we will need to find a new doctor.
