I have had my oil changed here before with no issues. Now under new ownership they tend to suck.

What can I say? Dr. Z changed my life. Maybe saved it. I started seeing her 2-3 years ago after…read morelong-COVID. She was able to quickly diagnose the PoTS I knew I had based on actual numbers and data, whereas it had been previously been dismissed as anxiety, all in my pretty little head, a medication side effect, or even MS. I was told PoTS is rare. *PoTS is not rare. Finding a doctor who will test and diagnose properly is. Dr Z and I worked on diet and lifestyle changes and eventually began medication. I am in my 40s now: I went from barely being able to stand long enough to make it thru two 6hr shifts a week, to randomly becoming an adult gymnast who actually leaps and spins on the balance beam. Like what?! I have NEVER been in better shape from my blood labs to physique. I do better at work, too! Everyone at the office from the receptionists to the medical assistants are kind and caring. You can tell they enjoy working there. There's a good energy/ good vibes throughout the office. Cannot recommend this intelligent, compassionate, and personable provider enough. *I am a healthcare provider, but have no professional association with Austin Heart or St David

Thank you for taking the time to respond.(Owner)…read more I appreciate your acknowledgment and your explanation regarding the 10-minute grace period. However, I believe my concern goes far beyond the policy itself. It is about fairness, empathy, and the overall patient experience. Patients are routinely expected to be understanding when physicians run behind schedule. On several occasions at this office, I have checked in on time only to wait anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours before being seen. Patients accept those delays because we recognize that emergencies happen and physicians sometimes fall behind. Why doesn't that same understanding extend to patients? On the morning of my appointment, I left home well in advance. I encountered severe thunderstorms, road closures, traffic diversions, and multiple accidents. After arriving at your parking lot, I spent more than 10 minutes driving around simply trying to find an available parking space. Had adequate parking been available, I would almost certainly have checked in within your stated grace period. Does the practice take situations such as severe weather, inadequate parking, and circumstances beyond a patient's control into consideration before cancelling an appointment that took six months to obtain? My greatest disappointment was not that I was asked to reschedule. It was the attitude of the front desk employee. There was no empathy, no willingness to listen, and no attempt to contact Dr. Zikusoka's clinical staff to determine whether I could still be accommodated. On previous visits, I have personally witnessed staff make those calls for other patients. Healthcare should be patient-centered from the moment a patient walks through the front door. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I continue to have the highest regard for Dr. Michelle Zikusoka. She is an outstanding cardiologist whose professionalism, compassion, and dedication are beyond question. My criticism remains directed solely at the front office staff and the way this situation was handled. I sincerely hope Austin Heart will consider applying the same patience, flexibility, and understanding to its patients that patients are expected to extend when the practice is running behind schedule.

My primary care doctor was booked out for weeks, so I decided to give Next Level Urgent Care a try. Even without an appointment, I was immediately helped by Shakemma, Tiff. She was wonderful! Friendly, efficient, and made me feel comfortable right away. I was then seen by Gad, who was also great. He quickly assessed what was going on, prescribed some allergy medication, and had me on my way. The entire visit took less than 35 minutes, which is amazing. Fast, professional, and super convenient--I would highly recommend this urgent care spot!

It's important to note they are an urgent care, not an emergency room. The staff is attentive and friendly, with genuine concern for your malady. I can note all the times my family has visited they will see a nurse practitioner. To some that may be a sticking point, but if you need to be seen for something minor this urgent care is great. I'd definitely make an appointment online for times sake, but the onboarding is easy and you can establish an account if you need to go back. I can even say cash pay prices are reasonable. I would definitely recommend this location for your minor care needs during the week and weekends if you can't get to your normal doctor.

I thought that was an unusual amount to charge but, ok. When I was called by the physical therapist I was told that I would have to pay for the stress test if I did not achieve the levels that they were looking for, in my case a heart rate of 122. I told him I was under the assumption that my insurance would pay for this test as they always had in the past. He told me that medicare did not pay for this procedure. I let him know that I was not covered by medicare I have private insurance and have always had the insurance. He then told me that I needed to take a chemical stress test. I told him no, I do not do needles. Long story short I left to get a refund for the amount I had paid and the clerk gave me a card with the billing department's number for my refund. I went to my car and called my insurance company to ask if I was covered for a stress test I was told yes the authorization had been approved 2 days prior and there was no deductible for this test. The insurance administrator asked to talk with the hospital personnel to clarify this issue and I went back to the clinic to allow the administration to talk with the reception at the clinic. A training person was there who took information from the insurance company and me. He went to the back talked with the people and they told him a completely different story. I left without the stress test and without being the doctor. When I checked my information in the my Chart for BS&W. The therapist falsely entered that I could not get on the treadmill was the reason why the test was not completed. The Doctor reported that I was seen by him, and indicated a cause which was not true. I was not examined or talked with by Dr. Demore. I will be reporting this behavior to the insurance company and to medicare I think this facility is in need of a serious audit by both institutions. And I used to think these were people who cared about their patients. I am devastated.

I was absolutely astounded by the excellent care of this ambulatory surgery center. It is only a few miles from my home -no more having to travel into Austin or even Round Rock! I received a call from them a few days prior and they left a detailed message requesting I return the call if I had any questions whatsoever about the prep or my procedures themselves. I did not have to call them back as I did not have any questions since my gastroenterologist gave me an abundance of written directions, both in paper, and on My Chart . CPSC continued to offer me support by sending me reminders where I could reply with an automated alpha reply -so they would know that I had received the information and was confirming that I understood it . Sometimes I feel like this is over done but in this situation because my physician has her own unique processes I really appreciated the support The day of the procedure, I actually arrived a few minutes before my scheduled arrival time. Although I had completed a small novel of paperwork for them online, including a history and physical, there were still some other paperwork that had to be signed. Basically a Surgery consent form, and then the HIPAA forms . I immediately noticed that they had done away with the paper affiliated with these required signatures! They actually had sealed the forms in clear plastic, and then gave me a marker style pen to do the initialing, the signing, and the dating. That way they could just scan in the information and erase it so that when the next patient came along, they could use the same form. Ingenious.!! in fact, anyone concerned with saving the environment and paper i.e.; trees should consider this for any volume of paperwork. Healthcare is not the only area they could benefit from this! All this before I even went back into the patient care area! I was called back a few minutes beyond my scheduled time by a very kind and efficient RN, who requested I do the things necessary to prepare myself. She then started an IV & all the while we chatted, which made me very comfortable. She went out to reception and got the hubby so that he could sit with me waiting on the actual time to go into the Surgery Suite. After he was seated, she proceeded to review the process so that he would know from beginning to end what to expect, and I would as well....after she left my cubicle, I realized that I was pretty nauseous so we asked if I could have something for that& within two minutes, she was back in with me giving me anti-nausea medicine through my IV. It absolutely helped. I have never had such a speedy service when asking for a medication in an inpatient or outpatient environment. Usually there are so many hoops that people have to jump through but Cedar Park Surgical Center has their ducks in a row for sure. Over the next few minutes, I was visited by the Anesthesiologist, the Certified Registered Nurse, Anesthetist, the RN that would be with me in surgery and Dr Nandy. I'm not going to bore you with all the details but, again, some thing I felt was above and beyond --the nurse and the nurse anesthetist stood on either side of me, reassuring me that everything would be fine that everything would go OK, and that they would take good care of me while I went to sleep. I've heard of these techniques because they really do make a difference for the patient encouraging a positive experience. When I woke up an hour later, I was in recovery and the recovery room, nurse introduced herself to me and immediately offered to elevate my head and get me something to drink. I really appreciated this as I was determined to get alert enough to go home as soon as possible. About 30 minutes later, Carmen came in with some paperwork, and explained what the doctor had written related to my procedures, then she offered to assist me in getting dressed, which I would be doing while in my bed, to decrease the risk of falling. When I felt ready, she had me dangle my legs to ensure my steadiness and had a wheelchair locked and ready for me to sit in and be wheeled outside. Hubby had the car waiting in the patient pick up area as pre-instructed. THIS WAS MY MOST-INCREDIBLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN AN OUTPT OR INPT SETTING THAT I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the facility along with the team and I hope if I ever have to have something in the future that I can go back there, they treat their patients like GOLD!
