Longhi's is one of the two restaurants at the Marriott Ko Olina in Oahu and it's an easy spot if you want an early brunch--they start serving at 8am. The menu is pretty mixed too, so you can go for breakfast or jump straight into things like pasta or a sandwich. The fish and chips were delicious! The batter was light, not too greasy or heavy, and the shoestring fries definitely hit the spot. The açaí bowl was really good too. It's made with açaí and mango sorbet and loaded with fruit--bananas, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries. Super refreshing and actually pretty filling. The lobster Benedict was the letdown. The sourdough kind of took over the whole dish, and the lobster was chewy and oddly cold. Not something I'd order again. On the plus side, the service was great--everyone was really friendly and attentive, which made the experience better overall. Definitely a convenient spot at the resort, but I'd stick to the basics next time. read more

A disappointing dining experience from start to finish. Booked in advance for Valentine's Day and didn't see it was a fixed menu. While it makes sense , all other restaurants I researched publicized their set menu well in advance. This one didn't and it would have been nice to know prior to booking, but I saw it the day of. Since we were staying at the resort, this was a convenient and easy option. Some surprises and why the disappointment: Options: - We had a 7pm reservation and they were already out of 2 of the 6 dinner offerings. No lamb chops and crab stuffed salmon. (We were pleased to hear they could substitute mahi mahi for the salmon. ) - with the fixed menu, there were 3 dessert options: strawberry shortcake, tiramisu and chocolate torte. But by 7pm they were out of tiramisu ...and the chocolate torte. Food: - the food was mediocre. The scallops were surprisingly tangy, and too sweet for my liking with the prepared sauce, and very very ... red. - the strawberry shortcake had limited strawberries and the dessert was bland and tasteless. I've never met a strawberry shortcake I didn't like, so this was a first. They said their desserts are made on site. The portions were generous. They offered a cheesecake to substitute for the lack of offerings. - the salad dressing was also tasteless and the bread was nothing short of meh- your typical store bought French loaf. Service: - we were told dining experiences were limited to 90 minutes, which makes sense. But we sat down and waited and waited and waited. Finally flagged someone down to ask for our server. - we didn't have stellar or even attentive service. Amongst all the options they didn't have, the drinks were slow to arrive and when we placed our second drink order, I think she forgot about them! They did eventually make their way to our table but not in a timely manner and definitely not within the 90 minutes guidelines. Ambiance: This is one of two hotel restaurants. It looks like it could be viewed as the nicer of the two, but don't be fooled. It's incredibly overpriced and the hotel chairs are ridiculously uncomfortable with no cushions. I guess I expected more. Maybe the regular menu is better but at well over $600 (for 4 people), I'd expect to be pleased with at lease one thing. I have zero desire to return. Came here a couple of times. Once for my birthday and once for mother's day. Both times were decent experiences, but the best of all is the koi pond that my kids love to look at and feed the fish. That is one of the main reasons why id come back here. The food is pretty good too, but the service is on the slower side. Especially on holiday type weekends. Like mothers day weekend, they should up their staff so they arent so slammed. I hate hearing the "oh we are so busy today" comment when business clearly know there will be increased business due to the holiday. Our service was pretty good except that we had to send back a steak as it was med rare when med well was ordered. They made it right and took it off the bill since it took so long. It took so long that my steak was cold by the time the other steak came back. I felt super bad for the party of 20 sitting near us. They were seated well before us, and got their food after us. FOOD, LOCATION, AMBIANCE, SERVICE and quality - Longhi's has it all. First off, for those missing the Longhi's at Ala Moana (from many years ago) THIS is the place. Who knew? I've known and just didn't want to share. It's located at the Marriott Beach Club at Lagoon 4 at Ko'olina. Valet parking only unless you're staying there (then you have parking). Get your ticket validated and I believe it's $3.00. Then head down the stairs or elevator to the ground floor. You can opt for bar or table seating. I've taken all my off island friends and family here and they love it as much as I do. I've even had a private party here (that's how much I love the place). I've eaten my way through their menu and I can attest that everything is good here. I'm a "Benny," (eggs Benedict) kinda gal and it just never disappoints. Their crab cake apps is also a go-to if you're not that hungry but want a lil sum-sum. Add a mimosa to the order and it's perfection! Staying at Marriott Ko Olina, we made a red at Longhi's in Ko Olina (on the property) and were immediately taken by the beautiful setting. The ambiance truly stands out--relaxing views of the koi pond, a gentle island breeze, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes for an enjoyable evening. Service from Christine was excellent. She was attentive, warm, and kept everything moving smoothly, which we really appreciated. As for the food and drinks, it was more of a mixed experience. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which unfortunately fell flat. It lacked flavor, and the pasta--which was an extra $6--tasted like it came straight from a box. On the brighter side, the seared ahi was well-prepared and much more satisfying. The Old Fashioned was another miss for us, coming out overly sweet with a very large chunk of orange that overpowered the drink. Despite the inconsistencies, the setting and service helped balance the visit. If the menu indicates warm French bread, I'm hoping to see it served in a basket with covered cloth napkin to preserve warmth. Delicious black lava salt honey butter made a huge difference. It was a hit especially with the younger generation. Grateful that the first serving is free. Thereafter, it's $5 per extra serving. Calamari tasted good by itself. Spicy Arrabiatta Sauce and Lemon Garlic Aioli tasted better on its own or separate. Seared Scallops and Creamy Pesto plus Shrimp Fettuccine Lombardi, both $44 for the quantity and number of ingredients doesn't match price point. This entree is a prime example of inflation in fine dining. Simple dish. Expected more flavors. I appreciate scallops from Maine and basil from Maui. Really disappointed this time around. Our server was great! They sat us at our expected reservation time of 10 am. Our server took our order pretty quick... But, it's the food that did everything for us. Not too sure if there is a different head chef from 4 years ago, but the food was not great this time around. We order a burger, 2 loco mocos, a breakfast plate and the kids foods. The kids food tastes better than everything else we ordered and that's bad. Our patties were dry, no taste and needed seasoning. Our gravy on the loco moco was tasteless. The burger as well, it was lacking seasoning and my husband only ate half. I don't know if we will be back after what we just ate. They need a new menu or need to revamp what they are serving with a new cook. This was not worth what we paid for. We could have just ate at the market down the street. Breakfast was five stars! Amazing and fresh fruit with the French toast was prepared perfectly! Coconut syrup was magical. Seriously, still thinking about the syrup! My plus one ordered the fish tacos because the menu is for all-day. The tacos were amazing with spicy coleslaw and ahi-tuna.. Very light and tasty. We had dinner here as well! Location was beautiful we overlooked the koi pond and the outside grass area! We gave this place another try for 2/14 brunch since we were staying at the resort! Sure, it's pricey, but you're eating at a resort in Ko'olina on the water... it's to be expected. In my opinion, the quality and taste along with the uniqueness of the flavors made the price worth it. Note: my pictures aren't the best because we dug in so quickly I almost forgot to snap a few pictures since it was so yummy. My husband had the ribeye and he is extremely picky. Had dinner reservations on April 4th at 5:30PM. Was a Birthday surprise for my wonderful wife' (Yeah, she is). Took a chance after reading mixed reviews. Booked online about a week out for her special day via the OpenTable App. Was super easy and was able to make a request for outside seating. Even received a text notification the day before to confirm reservation. AWESOME. Had never been to the Marriott before, let alone eating at a restaurant at a Resort Hotel. All the Staff at the Marriott were so down-to-earth and very helpful explaining how to get to the restaurant. Was even shown where the Disabled Parking was located when we first arrived. We totally bypassed using the Valet Service or even paying for parking fees. The hotel itself and the surrounding views was spectacular!!! We were kindly greeted by a sweet Hostess as we approached. She confirmed our reservation and she asked if we wanted a little bit of shade since it was super bright out as the sun was making it's way down for the evening. We were immediately taken to a spot behind the first pillar, next to the Koi Pond. My wife looked so radiant and stunning!!! Upon my wife being seated we were greeted by the Wait Staff and offered some refreshing, ice cold water. Soon after, our Server "Jacob" introduced himself and asked if we'd dined with them before, which we hadn't. He kindly asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I replied, "Yes, it's my wife's birthday!" Jacob wished her a "Happy Birthday" He asked if we had a chance to look over the menu and explained some of the entrées. We started out with Grilled Portobello Mushroom and the Pacific Petite Manila Clams. After Jacob took our order, he kindly brought us some bread that had a ramekin of whipped butter with hint of honey and what appeared to be Hawaiian Black Sea Salt. It was the "ice-breaker" so-to-speak and it was quite delicious and slightly savory. The Grilled Portabello Mushroom came w/ a Pesto Sauce which was really TASTY. The Manila Clams w/ the butter/wine sauce was SUPER YUMMY. It initially comes with 4 pieces of toasted buttery bread. But, we were brought more so we could savor that sauce MMMmmm. As for our Entrée, my wonderful wife had the 12oz Prime New York Steak prepared in Steakhouse Style (Grilled/Smothered with Mushrooms and Caramelized Onions) and I had the 16oz Prime Ribeye Steak that was peppercorn crusted topped with a rosemary butter sauce with sautéed garlic chips and finished with a drizzle of balsamic reduction. BOTH were cooked to our liking of Medium-Rare PERFECTION!!!!! About 1/2 way through our dinner. Jacob kindly asked if we were interested in the Belgian Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert. He provided us with a courtesy as that dessert item takes 30 minutes to prepare. The table next to us had ordered it and the couple said it was "scrumptious" -- However, my wife and I weren't sure yet because we were starting to get a little full. Btw, Jacob checked on us quite often and refilled our waters. One of the other Wait Staff noticed we had paused from eating and she kindly brought us some carry-out containers. Jacob asked again if we were interested in dessert and I chose the Hawaiian Macadamia Nut Pie and, said he had a little Birthday surprise for my wife. My wife received a complimentary scoop of Vanilla Bean Gelato w/ whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and a candle that she got to blow out! AWESOME. Although, she only ate half. I had the pleasure of eating the rest lol The Macadamia Nut pie was absolutely TO DIE FOR. Coming from a person that grew up eating and LOVES Pecan Pie... I highly recommend the Mac Nut. It was served w/ a warm caramel sauce and a scoop of Vanilla Bean Gelato. Ugh, 2 days later and I want some more!! Our last nights stay at beautiful Marriott's Ko Olina in Oahu we decided to have dinner at Longhi's. Such a lovely restaurant with an outstanding view and great atmosphere with lots of menu options. Sitting underneath the beautiful moonlight of Hawaiian skies was a perfect experience with my husband. The beautiful Koi Fish pond surrounding the restaurant makes for a perfect spot. The food was also quite good--everything was well-prepared and flavorful. ​The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The only minor downside was that they didn't mention the soufflé needs to be ordered ahead of time, which was a little disappointing as I was hoping to try it. We went here because it was the closest place to our room and we needed food fast! We sat outside near the coy pond and the views were beautiful. You could see the ocean, people exercising on the grass, and the fish swimming. I ordered an oat milk latte with vanilla syrup and the salmon and scallop salad. Both were really good. We had the Lobster Eggs Benedict (Maine Lobster Meat topped with perfectly poached eggs with a delicious Hollandaise sauce on a freshly toasted Baguette) and the New York Style Rueben sandwich (Angus Beef Smoked Pastrami, imported Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, and Russian Dressing, served on their house made Swirled Rye Bread. For appetizers we had Longhi's Artichoke (a California artichoke steamed to perfection served with a delicious Lemon Butter sauce and Parmigiana Reggiano) and of the Calamari deep fried served with a spicy Arrabiata sauce and a Lemon Garlic Aioli. STAY AWAY! A couple friends and I were staying at Aulani and decided on Longhi's for dinner one night. This establishment is located inside the Marriott Beach Club. Validated parking is $3 for up to three hours. For this visit we chose Calamari ($18) which is served with spicy arrabiata sauce and lemon garlic aioli - the calamari was the best thing of the whole entire dinner. Calamari was cooked perfectly and the pairing with the garlic aioli complemented the calamari. FYI, for an extra side of garlic aioli it is $1. We also chose the Potato Crusted Crab Cakes ($23) which was full of crab but was very bland -- lacking any true flavor! For entrees we had the Shrimp Fettuccine Lombardi ($44) which is listed as a classic alfredo recipe from Rome! Ha! The Italians do not even make Alfredo! Alfredo is an American thing. This dish was absolutely disgusting. I do not know what the chef was taught but this was not Alfredo. My ten year old nephew makes a better alfredo sauce. The whole dish had ZERO FLAVOR and the so called 'sauce' was watery and had a strong flour taste. My friend chose the Shrimp and Scallop Longhi ($42) which is shrimp and scallops sautéed in a white wine butter sauce. For an additional $6 you can add pasta to this dish. Same thing here, no flavor!! My other friend chose the Fresh Island Fish ($50) which was mahi mahi. You can chose to have the fish prepared three ways: island style; longhi style; and Veronique - my friend chose hers longhi style, "vine ripe tomatoes and basil with a white wine lemon butte sauté served with jasmine rice". She enjoyed it, I thought it was YET AGAIN FLAVORLESS! We did order a White Peach Sangria ($19) New Amsterdam vodka, Pinot Grigio, lemonade and muddled strawberries. This was delicious! Overall: if you're staying on property at the Marriott and your super fricken hungry because let's say, you flew 5+ hours to arrive into Honolulu and was stuck in H1 traffic getting from the airport to Ko Olina and then finally arrived at the Marriott Ko Olina and unloaded all your luggage into your room and now you're ready to eat but there isn't anything else open besides Longhi's and you're too tired to drive anywhere else . . . still decide || NOT TO EAT AT Longhi's ||and instead Uber Eats Taco Bell to the resort which would normally cost $25 but with the added fees and driver tip you're looking at $70+. At least this way you'll have a tasty meal and still save a good $40-$50! read more

If you need a brunch place with a nice view, then Longhi's is your best choice. The valet is $3 and the restaurant is downstairs. Parking with the valet is less stress and your able to arrive to your destination on time or early. The valet is at Marriott Ko Olina. My friend and I were fortunate that the weather was sunny and beautiful. Our waitress was friendly and checked in frequently. I ordered the Acai bowl and my friend ordered the loco loco. Both plates were huge! The Acai bowl had lots of various fruits with acai and mango sorbet. It was quite delicious. They also have a full bar. We closed our tab and moved to the bar section. It's nothing on the waitress, but with the sun shining and birds, we didn't want to take a chance that we'd be uncomfortable. My friend had a pineapple mimosa and I had a Chloe sparkling wine. Located at Marriott, we came here for a birthday celebration. We made reservations ahead of time, so when we checked in, we were seated right away. It looked busy, dress code was casual but can be dressy if you wanna. We were seated outside so we had a nice breeze. Our server was kind and patient as we all tried to figure out what we wanted. The clams were my favorite appetizer, full of flavor. The kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and hamburger. They liked how the fries were crispy. All in all, service was great. Longhi's Ko Olina at night was so beautiful! It was the perfect weather to dine in at night. I sat by the Koi fish pond and it was a sight to see in the day time. I tried this really smooth, cucumber drink, and it was absolutely delicious. Lance did a great job taking care of us! The chicken marsala was so good. I substituted the mashed potato for pasta. Then I enjoyed a macadamia nut pie. 10 out of 10 would go again. read more
