Was not excited about the menu but based on reviews on many platforms, I thought I had to give this a try: and so glad i did! First of all, you have to order some "potato hash". These were the best hash browns/potatoes we've ever had and our fav thing on the menu. Server said the chef won't share his secret - must try! Hub ordered the "Haleiwa Breakfast Plate" @ $18 - solid! Bacon + "Potato Hash" + $4 - perfect breakfast. I never order pancakes/french toast but felt the vibe and ordered the "French Toast" @ $16. OMG - thought I'd eat a couple pieces but ended up eating it all! The bread is fresh and super light so u don't feel like u ate a ton of carbs. Not covered in heavy syrup- some kind of honey; the fruit was sweet - another "best" I've ever had. The staff all work together so someone is always checking on you - and they all make eye contact! Everything we had = Delicious. Loved their spin on the espresso martini with their Ube version called Easy Fixx. I originally ordered the Earl Grey Lemonade (also delicious) but after trying the Easy Fixx, had to order another for myself. We kept the Ube theme going with the Ube pancakes with fresh berries & sweet orange anglaise. The anglaise... I could eat cupfuls of it. As for the Local loco moco, I love good Hawai'i comfort food, but the flavors on this plate was elevated than your typical. Haleiwa breakfast plate was also delicious... we ordered a second round of the Portuguese sausage. Lastly, the server Kalei'a is sweet and provides excellent service. Came here to pick up early dinner on a Sunday. It's located at the beginning of the North Shore Marketplace, so there was plenty of parking around. The restaurant was pretty empty, so we were helped right away and had to wait about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. We got the spring rolls and the Katsu burger special. I loved the potato wedges that came with the burger, and the burger itself was pretty good and thick. It also came with bacon, which was a nice surprise. The spring rolls were crispy, and the filling was flavorful. Overall, super solid food here, and I would definitely recommend. I love this place! Its almost a weekend spot for breakfast. The vegan Loco moco is a hidden gem, Okinawan sweet potato with Japanese curry over rice (im addicted). The pancakes are fluffy and flavorful, avocado toast filled with flavor, and fruit bowl love the yogurt honey over fresh fruits. Haven't tried the dinner yet. My family and I went here to celebrate Mother's Day. It was our first time! Booking was super easy, that was really convenient! Finding the location was easy to find and parking was right in front! We ate a delicious breakfast here thanks to a local's recommendation. We split the braised beef moco. It was the perfect amount of food- satisfying but not stuffing. The flavors were so good on the beef and gravy, and the rice was perfectly cooked. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed watching the birds in the park. FOOD POISONING!!! Wow!! I ordered the ahi lunch plate and couldn't even finish my plate because the ahi was so ROTTEN that it made my mouth, throat and tongue ITCH... and now about 3 hours later I am having terrible stomach problems. This restaurant is located in the cutest town on the north shore of the island with lots of art galleries and shops nearby. Service was very friendly. You could sit either inside or outside, we chose inside which was cozy and had some nice natural light. I was intrigued by the bloody mary special cocktail on the menu but the waiter informed me it was on the saltier side so I got a regular bloody mary instead which was good. My partner got ramen which was huge. Literally filled to the brim and packed with toppings. We got lemongrass fried rice on the side which was packed with flavor and quite fragrant. I think the fried rice was my favorite item at lunch. I got one of their plates which basically came with a protein (garlic shrimp), white rice (which I didn't eat because we had the lemongrass rice), mac salad (which I think is a traditional Hawaiian side?), and a green salad. 10/10 in all aspects, A quick head nod from the bartenders here and I knew that I loved this place. It is so clean and pretty, They really did an amazing renovation job at this place. Nice and open floor plan, that bar is gorgeous, the lanai definitely is made for mimosas and good vibes. The food here is a fusion of Korean, local, brunch, and does a great job fusing different cultures. I opted for the tofu scamble, complete with avo toast, a fresh tossed salad, with bacon on the side for my big back. Wifey got the avo toast with an over easy egg, which she said was delicious. Please for the love of everything holy, try the LEMONGRASSSSSS FRIED RICE. Tons of flavor, fried wonderfully, not too oily. Amazing drink program here, complete with all sorts of libations, but if I had anything to complain about, it was the lack of local beers on tap. I easily found Singha- a known southeast Asian favotite, but maybe it would be nice for tourists to have a drink that was brewed or bottled on island, maybe I was too tired to look, if I overlooked this, my bad. Wife got the lilikoi mimosa and spoke highly of it. Started off with pork belly fries, and the "no roll" Ahi poke rolls - so good! The braised beef over curry polenta was excellent! The remodeled restaurant was really nice and clean with great ambiance! Only issue is the bathrooms were "community" style of the entire building and was in real need of an upgrade! Amazing food on the north shore! Chef Lamont's second restaurant and he definitely knocked it out of the park! We had the ube pancakes and lobster Benedict for brunch (I'm still thinking about that orange cream) and had to come back for dinner. We got the pork fries to share for the table, cannot recommend enough! I had the steak and it had an incredible flavor and a surprisingly large steak for the price. A tale of two morning visits. Our first visit was a hands down 5 star experience. All three breakfasts were exceptional. I will say that both days our waiter forgot an ordered item but in both cases recovered quickly. We liked our first visit so much we decided to go back again. Different food altogether. While not bad, the food was prepared completely differently. The breakfast sandwiches were completely different. The scrambled eggs were cooked completely differently , etc. it was kind of surreal. What a delightful restaurant! My family enjoyed a traditional style loco moco, short rib loco moco, and a lobster eggs benedict. All 3 dishes were flavorful and beautifully plated. The dishes were priced fairly too. We ate in the outdoor patio and enjoyed a cool breeze and sunshine. The tables are narrow and seats are barstools. We didn't mind and were comfortable during our stay. We were served by 3 different staff members and each of them provided sincere hospitality- what a gem!!
