I came here with my friends after one of them ran the Honolulu Marathon. He said this was his favorite spot and brought the entire crew along. This establishment is fairly large and have a regular seating tables area and a bar area. The bar area was pretty popping with people watching the on-going football game. (they do have tvs all over the bar so you should be able to watch in most seats. ​ It is fairly cold in here, like I was kind of freezing and had to grab a jacket from the car. Our server was super friendly and we got our orders in: We ordered: * Brick Oven "Super" Pizza: 7/10. We ordered this without black olives because I do not like black olives. This was okay. There were many toppings but since there were so many, there were much less of each topping (which meant that you'd really only get a tiny sprinkle of like beef for example). I felt like the pizza was just mediocre. The crust was unique, a twisted shape but it just made the crust more dense and not as enjoyable to eat for me as I liked a fluffier doughy crust. I also felt that there weren't enough cheese for the amount of toppings on this pizza. * Pepperoni, Sausage, and Jalapenos Pizza: 7.2/10. My friend ordered this so I didn't really eat as much of it. It was ok, same complaints regarding the crust. I think due to it having less toppings the cheese ratio was much better this time around. * Buffalo (Hot) Wings: 9/10, my friend said the main star of the show would be the wings and he was not lying! These wings were large and meaty compared to the tiny wings you'd often get at bars and most establishments. They were fried to perfection and tossed in the chosen sauce. The buffalo was perfect and I enjoyed it with ranch. * Lemon Pepper: 8.2/10, same positives, I just don't care for the lemon pepper flavor. * Garlic Parm: 9.2/10: same positives, I love the garlicky flavor of this wing along with the cheesiness from the parm. * Chicken Alfredo Pasta: 4/10. We do NOT recommend this. The chicken quality was terrible, it was like stringy. We think it is the premade chicken meant to be shredded for pizzas recooked into the pasta. The alfredo sauce was also not very good, just tasted poorly made and overly peppered. Honestly I would totally come back for the wings and only the wings. Okay let me first start off my saying I am sad because I had really high hopes for this place :(. My family and I walk in, 3 adults and a toddler, the inside is full with 2 families of 6 still waiting as well to be seated. there were about 3 staff members just hanging out on the left side as we entered just staring at us, no greeting nothing, till my son walked up to them to let them know how many of us were dining in. The girl looked all confused, moved more slow than my toddler (sorry, but NO sense of urgency whatever). We'll after 10 mins of waiting we realized that it was because the guy who I guess was checking people in was in the bathroom. but geez, she couldnt helped him out. We asked if there was outside seating as the inside was already crowded and he checked and there was a table ready for us. Our waitress came gave us menus, didnt ask for our drink order than left. She came back maybe about 5-8 mins later to take our order, not before we requested if we could get water. Fastforward, like i stated at the beginning it was crowded on the inside when we walked in, well we get our food and mid way thru realize that our drinks were never filled, no one came out to ck on us or the other tables at that matter. We ordered extra carrots and celery that never came out, at that point I was like forget it. We needed boxes and refill of water since NONE came throughout our whole dinner. I decided to go get the boxes and request water, tell me why when I walked inside, the only table that was occupied was the party that was there in the corner. The rest of the place was empty and tell me why ALL the workers were literally just standing near the bar/kitchen. they see me walking in, no one seems to think "oh we havent checked on them" they waited till I approached them and asked for a box and water. Up until me going inside I gave them grace because like I mentioned I knew they were busy. But once I walked in and seen every single staff just standing there, I was disappointed. I hadn't been to Brick Oven Pizza in ages, but I stopped by on a whim after seeing someone post oysters on IG..... and I love oysters! It did not disappoint. The clam chowder was warm, comforting, and genuinely delicious. We ordered the specialty veggie pizza and added pepperoni, and wow...the crust was flavorful. Most places I won't eat all the crust. Of course, we had to try the half‑dozen oysters, and I'm so glad they weren't tiny like at some other places. They were plump, juicy, and incredibly fresh. And OMG the chicken! One of the best wings I had in awhile. We ordered the lemon pepper flavor and I bet the other flavors are good as well since the chicken itself was cooked to perfection. Service and food quality were a solid 10/10. I also found out they have Happy Hour right after I get off work, which is dangerous because I work right across the street. We have been looking for a good pizza place since we moved to Hawaii and this one is at the top of our list so far. The pizza was delicious! The bread that they used is by far one of my favorite pizza does I've ever had. However, it is a bit overpriced. I would absolutely eat this pizza more if it was slightly cheaper. If you don't get one of their specialty pizzas and you can't make adjustments to it, you're paying per topping and meat is the same as a vegetable which major seems odd. So we paid $35 for a pizza with five or six toppings if you are someone that only likes one topping on their pizza then this would be ideal for you overall we'll probably eat this maybe once a month just due to how expensive it is. We ordered the size medium for two people and we ate half and took the other half home so it was technically four servings. I really love the butter garlic sauce that they put on the crust. Everything about the dough and entire pizza is just perfect. It's so yummy and a large size is more than enough for 3 to 4 adults. We personally like getting the "super" pizza as it has a lot of meat and veggies. The salt and vinegar, chicken, wings or amazing as well. I love how crispy and flavorful it was on the outside yet super juicy meat on the inside. We also got a veggie salad to share amongst three adults and one toddler, and it was more than enough! The inside feels like a bar, which is fine, I wish I could more confidently get this place five stars but unfortunately service does not live up to its good food. Every time I've come here (3-4 times now), I've felt like an inconvenience to the waitresses. All of our waters were empty by the time they came around to fill it up. Note for parents: I saw another table get pizza dough for their kids to play with which was really cool... I wish our waitress had offered that to my child because she would've loved it and probably would've made me happier with the service. Oh well! Ask for it if you go I guess. First time trying, I went in on a Saturday early afternoon around 12 PM first impressions that it was really spacious almost reminded me of live music bar restaurant scene but they had TVs posted everywhere there was outdoor seating. My party did get seated quite quickly, which was nice, but the service took a little while to get us drinks. It didn't seem so busy when we got in as there were a few people in there that were only drinking and not eating. We dined in for about an hour and a half because the food took a while to come out, but we had a party of five, so understandable. We waited for about 20 mins to get our check and that was a bit frustrating. I wanna say they may have been understaffed. There were only two people that served us and their kitchen is open for you to see and it seem like there was not too many cooks. However, quality of the food was good. I only took a picture of what I had ordered, but my family ordered a pizza that was recommended from one of the servers, but we didn't entirely enjoy it the wasn't our particular taste, not the servers fault though. I ordered a chicken pesto pasta, which was really good, the way they prepared the chicken was interesting, it seemed like it was shredded, I honestly enjoyed it but my family wasn't fond of it. The vibe here is exactly what you'd expect from a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint--chill, casual, and a little nostalgic. I actually liked the ambience overall; it's got that cozy, no-frills charm. The pizza itself was cooked really well--nice crust, good flavor--but it was piled pretty heavy with toppings. So much so that everything kind of slid right off when you picked up a slice. Not a deal-breaker, but it made for a messy experience. One of the biggest downsides for me was the seating. The high-top chairs are extremely worn and uncomfortable. I actually felt the edge stabbing into the back of my thigh during the meal--definitely not ideal for relaxing and enjoying your food. Service was just okay. The staff were friendly, but very hands-off. I only got a refill toward the end of my meal, even though I could've used it as soon as the pizza arrived. PREFACE: Got a lot of hype from my friends growing up but remain conflicted on first time and would need at least 1-2 more times to be fully concrete about it as I currently sit at 3.5 ish. This place has an expansive menu including alcohol and all deserves to be tried. Went to watch the UFC lightweight championship match and got a small BOP Super Pizza cause the idea that Portuguese sausage belonging on a pizza intrigued me in a good way. For the price I paid the pizza to me was quite reasonable arguably the size if not more than a dominoes medium to large (depending on where you go). Slices are long yet super thin with all of the dough going to the crust which while I don't mind I wish the pizza held up more even compared to other styles (even New York) with consistency and definitely keeping toppings on as for most it just seemed to sit rather than be embedded in the dough. As for toppings they were super clean and flavored well which I loved but the sauce was seriously lacking on this one. It almost felt like the sauce was again concentrated on the crust and when it was present lacked taste that I was expecting given the hype I had growing up. While my server was super nice and checked on me with how semi empty the place was I was confused at how they tempoed their visits to my and other tables vs the other waitress. Overall I'd give it another couple of shots especially socially since it's a good space (and there's no way super can't run it back) but would need a little more juice for sure read more

Every interaction we've had with their staff has been pleasant. They're attentive and friendly. The restaurant has bar seating and a couple of high tops as well as some high bench seats and regular tables with chairs and benches. The lighting is on the dimmer side since it is in Kapolei and the sun is always blazing! So there's a vinyl wrap (there's pictures of pizza on the outside of it) around their windows to help with heat and sunlight. Last but NOT least, the food. Everything on their menu is so delicious! We have tried everything! Not gonna lie. My family favorites are the UltiMeat pizza and clams. We order those every time. We recently tried their take on the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries and it was tasty! It's on a thin and crispy pizza. My daughter loved it. She's a big Dubai Chocolate fan! There were no leftovers. Maybe 25 percent of the 2 pizzas we ordered had unpalatable burnt crusts. The tips tasted great. But as I ate towards the end, that burnt taste started to come through. I flipped pizza over and yes it was clearly burnt. Brought it to their attention they should have offered to comp the burnt pizza. I flipped all the burnt crusts to show them. Horrible customer service. This is my first ever review on yelp. We were charged $32 for 2 Caesar salads on a takeout order. Pics show what is advertised on the menu, and what we received. Since when is a Caesar salad just lettuce & sauce? An old friend recommended this spot so here we are. Judging from who else was in the dining area, you can tell this is a local fave. Since I'm not from around here, it seemed like it was pretty busy for a Thursday night. However, it also seemed like they were low on staffing tonight, so service was a lot slower than I'm used to. We went at 2pm in the afternoon and it was so empty that we decided to eat in. I love it here. Clean, nice and lots of big tvs around to watch sports. Definitely recommend this place during the afternoon if you like spacious seating. Our waitress/cashier and maybe she was bartender too was very friendly which is always important.
