Boston's Pizza is easily my favorite pizza spot on the island. It has that authentic East Coast style where you can grab a single slice on the go or build a whole pie to share. They have a tons of options on the menu, but they're also great about customizing pizzas to whatever you feel like trying. I've been here more than a few times, love the pizza. I went to place a phone order tonight and before I could finish my order (whole pepperoni pizza extra pepperoni) the wahine cut me off and quickly asked for my name. I re-emphasized that I wanted a whole pepperoni pizza with EXTRA pepperoni and she just brushed off what I said and hung up. And of course, she never got the extra pepperoni part. I mention this interaction because although I love the pizza, this isn't the first time i've had a less than pleasant customer service experience. We were craving pizza and decided to stop by here for lunch. It had been a long while since I last had Boston's, so I was excited to come back! I got the spinach & garlic pizza, while my boyfriend got one that I can't remember the name of, but it was loaded with meat and veggies and I believe it was one of their specialty combination pizzas. The pizza was soo delicious! The portions were bigger than we expected, with two pretty generous slices per serving. The crust had a great, almost crisp texture, and the toppings tasted fresh and flavorful. It was my boyfriend's first time here, and he said it's the best pizza he's had on the island! Our original plans were to go to the Kaimuki Boston Pizza, but upon walking into the pizza joint in Kaimuki, there was only one pizza in the display case. It appears that the Kaimuki location wasn't ready for business, so I suggested to my friend - Mark C. that I'll head on down to the Aiea Boston's North End Pizza. Worth the drive down to Aiea? TOTALLY WORTH IT, my friends! This particular Boston's North End Pizza is spacious & has a lot of seating. The restaurant also has an ample parking, so no issues finding a spot to dine here. This Aiea restaurant was super busy the afternoon we came here, but ordering our food was a breeze, and getting our pizza slices was pretty quick. What can I say about the pizza? My family and I came in for some really good pizza and left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure what happened today; either the staff doesn't work well together or because it was Sunday and they were just over it, I don't know. The cashier Josh took our order, we paid, sat down; nothing out of the ordinary. 20 or so minutes later we got our pizza, but they forgot about my husband's slice and when asked, another guy acknowledged as if it was still in the oven. So we wait. More customers started coming in and my husband gets up and waits his turn to ask about his slice. Eye contact was made with more than one individual working and INTENTIONALLY turned their back and ignored him. In addition, if you Dine in you will find a community table for you condiments like Parmesan Cheese, Red Pepper Flakes, etc. I will say it can get pretty mess but they usually clean it up when it slows down or near closing. This is my favorite per Slice Pizza joint! Because a slice is 1/4 of a Pizza. Also the prices as set in from of you with Taxes added. The Price is what you pay per Slice. The staff are also Chill. Don't cause a problem they will not bother you if you choose to Dine in. If you make it before closing (7:30 PM/19:30) and they have few slices or the last one, they could give a discount on your order. This place has not really changed since I been going here 20+ Years. What a crazy hidden pizza gem in the middle of Aiea! I'm one of those commuters who are just ready to get home - tunnel vision - nothing stops me. Okay, well it wasn't random I ended up here, our friend group decided to come here for dinner, so I am grateful for them for knowing this place and planning a dinner here. I love the decorations here and the open kitchen adds the the ambiance too. It's of course, Boston focused with a lot of no-nonsense attitude to spare. The staff also matches the friendly atmosphere, it seems like they all get along and have fun running the show. This is especially important since it is almost like an "open kitchen" concept. You see and hear everything so you see the dough flying along with their banter back and forth as well. Pizzas were amazing! They had a bunch of different flavors and were very helpful offering to cut bigger size slices smaller so the kids could eat or easier to split the pizza. Coming to Boston's Pizza has been something my family has done regularly, so I was surprised by how turned off I felt during our recent visit. We called in an order while driving from Ewa Beach and were initially told it would take 20 minutes, then were told 45 minutes. When we arrived, it had been about 20 minutes since our call. We knew we were early, but thought we would check in and were prepared to wait. When we walked in and gave our name, the employee began looking for our order before asking any questions. Because the workspace is open, we overheard someone say that it had only been five minutes and that we had been told 45 minutes, so they had plenty of time. I had not complained or said anything beyond giving my name, so the response and attitude felt unnecessary. When the employee came back, they told me the total and said the order was being worked on. At that point, I honestly wanted to cancel and leave because I felt like we were being treated as an inconvenience. Also, it is unrealistic that driving from Ewa Beach to Aiea only takes five minutes. The only reason we stayed was because my mom was looking forward to pizza for dinner. I understand that restaurants get busy and that we arrived early, but customers should still be treated respectfully. In an open-concept workspace, employees should be especially mindful of their tone and conversations when customers can hear everything. read more

The best & biggest pizzas! This is a must try for the freshest pizza. I absolutely love their original pizza sauce. It's a bit sweet which I really like. They definitely have something for everyone from garlic, mushroom, fresh tomatoes, the classic pepperoni, spinach and so much more! You can order by the slice or order a whole pizza! They even do half and half if you can't decide. I must say the pizzas here are HUGE so come hungry! Like 19" wide pizza big! The pizza itself is thin crust with a super crispy bottom and crust. It balances out the saucy topping. One "slice" is actually 2 slices so you definitely get your moneys worth! Wow this place is amazing, I haven't come to any Bostons pizza in maybe 10 years and recently came to this location. How did I forget how good the pizza is! Plenty of parking in back, and so much good pizza. We ordered a half sausage, spinach and garlic and half of their "Big Red" which is tomato, garlic, mushrooms and spinach. It was more than enough for for 3 people. The atmosphere here was awesome, they had live football on TV and the employees and atmosphere was very upbeat and happy. The insides is airconditioned and there are tables and chairs to dine in. No waiters or waitresses. You order your food at the counter and grab your own table The restaurant is split. The kitchen and counter is as you walk in with bathrooms to the right. The kitchen is an open kitchen so you can actually watch the workers make pizza. They also have a showcase with pizza by the slice. Service staff was very busy and was just very busy (kind of like a chinese restaurantjust get it done). The slices are huge but the prices reflect that. A lot of people was waiting to pick up pizzas to go. Whole pizzas range from $32 and up. The crust is not the real crispy type more on the softer side. We all have different prefferences I prefer a more crispy crust. It was around 1pm and there was a wide variety of red sauce pizzas and a few white sauce. I wanted to try their cheesy garlic bread since I seen many photos of it, and it was alright, I expected a little more of that cheese pull moment, however the cup of marinara sauce made up for it because I get to use it on my pizza crusts. Let me tell you, I was expecting just a slice, but nope. One order of your pizza of choice, is actually two slices. So if you're wondering why you pay $6+ for a slice you get two for a price of one. Can't complain and the pizza, it's amazing, thin, foldable slices with a fat, fluffy crust to dip in that sauce. *chefs kiss* need to wash it done with a can of cola as well. Regular pizzas like cheese and pepperoni is about $6+ but ordering a specialty pizza like "Spicy Jenny"or Carbonara is around $9+. The dining area is spacious and has a lot of tables for your group or by yourself. These pizzas are huge! I ordered 2 pizzas for 3 people thinking I'd have a few slices leftover for the next day... I have an entire pizza leftover. The spicy chicken pizza was good, but the pepperoni was out of this world. I really enjoyed it. The crust was thin and flaky, not too much sauce, with the perfect amount of cheese. The only complaint I have is about the ordering website. The add on selections are not mobile friendly so I accidentally fat fingered onions instead of jalapeños. I've been coming here for over 20 years...I don't know what happened to this establishment, and it breaks my heart. Poor Service, Worse Attitude I got there at 125pm today, and I had to be somewhere nearby at 2pm. That's enough time to stop, place an order and enjoy one of my favorite pizza spots on Oahu. Ordered a pizza slice from "LA" (initials on the receipt). Waited 15 minutes. Pizza was never made/warmed up. When I asked where my order was, the staff member admitted he hadn't even started it. That happens sometimes. Stuff gets busy, mistakes occur. But here's what killed it: I asked for a refund because I was on a tight schedule, and I was disappointed and frustrated. His responses were something that blew me away. When I said I was "waiting for 20 minutes for my order", his automatic response was, wait for it... "Well...it wasn't THAT long (20 minutes)." Wow! LOL. This guy has ZERO skill in de-escalating situations it's comical. He is actually extremely proficient at escalating situations, which is pretty mind-blowing for someone in the service industry. I then said calmly "Ok, how about I say 15 minutes? Is that fair?" No accountability (I don't even remember if he apologized or not). Just attitude -- like I was wasting his time and I was inconveniencing him. I would've walked out fine if he'd just said, "Hey, I'm really sorry about that. My mistake. Let me make it right." and really meant it. Like, actual regret for missing my order. Things like that does not exist at this location. I then told him that I've been a coming to this location for 20 years, and even gave this location 5-star reviews. The dude couldn't care less. I've been in business long enough to know things go sideways sometimes. People get it. I get it, I've been there myself. But you can't respond to a legitimate complaint with sarcasm and disrespect. I left, but realized I forgot my water bottle at the table I was sitting at. When I walked back in to grab it, the same guy -- muttering under his breath "20 years!! 5-star review" something like that, mocking me. His response wasn't to reflect on that. It was to mock what i said. To mock me. You've got a culture problem at this location. New owners? I'm only speculating. I don't know what happened to this estabishment, and it breaks my heart. I loved your pizza. For twenty years. But I can't support a business with this culture. There are other Boston Pizza locations -- Kailua, Aikahi, Hawaii Kai, Waialae -- where the people actually care. That's where my money goes now. You don't have to be perfect. You just have to care. My favorite is the spinach, mushroom and garlic. I always get that and I can usually try another piece from my daughter because they cut it in 2 pieces and she always get something different. This past dine in, they had a Carbonara pizza, that was pretty good, buy I'd have preferred a little more white sauce. The crust is the best. Its crispy and chewy. I haven't been to Boston's Pizza in such a long time!!! Why though? I have no clue! I need to be coming here more often when the need for pizza strikes! I've missed their delicious, extremely large slices of cheesy goodness! Not to mention, I absolutely live all the Boston paraphernalia! Go Red Sox! Go Celtics! I'm not a huge fan of the other sports, but Go Boston! Lol. The space is large and open while lots of room and tables. My kids made friends with the kids sitting next to us, and decided to camp under a couple tables. Most of the staff are nice and friendly. One person rolled her eyes at me when I asked if they could cut one slice smaller for the kids. When the pizza came to the table, it was cut once like all the others. I can't believe I forgot how good Boston's pizza is. It's been a while and I usually go to the one on Waialae. It was my first time at this location and I like it better. They have a bigger selection that's already pre-made and you can actually dine in. Their pizza slices are huge, but on the pricey side. You get two pieces per order. We got the pepperoni $7.64 and cheesy garlic bread $6. You order what you want in the display and they'll heat it for you in the oven. The pepperoni pizza was cheesy, gooey and really oily. I guess that's what makes it good, lol. Their marinara sauce is full of bold flavor. You can see the workers making the pizza from scratch. They toss and twirl the pizza dough in the air. I picked up 2 pizzas from the Aiea location on Friday afternoon. I was surprised that they were so busy! Lots of people had ordered online and their pizzas were ready for them. There was a constant stream of people the whole time I waited for my order. The lady who was taking orders is a rock star. She was taking orders, ringing up people, calling out orders, cutting pizza, packing up the pizza...everything all with a smile! There are tables so you can dine in if you want to. There is a large parking lot so parking shouldn't be a problem. Had to wait about 30 minutes for my 2 pizzas which was no problem. We ate the pizzas at home a few hours later so it wasn't 'fresh out of the oven', but they were good! The fam liked the spinach, garlic mushroom one more than the Boston Special. I love this convenience of being able to get a slice without committing to a whole pizza ! This place is definitely one of my go-to drop in pizza places when I just want to treat myself. Most "slices" are about $10. But don't let that price tag deter you, these slices are HUGE! I made the mistake of getting what I thought was two slices (total price came to be about $21) but I left with half a pizza . And when I say half a pizza I'm talking Costco size half a pizza!!
