I went with friends. The waitress was very friendly and happy. I thought I was going healthy with the crepes, they were, excuse the expression, gross. Tooo much pie filling, too sweet, I couldn't eat them. Everyone else's meal was great. The atmosphere was common diner like, which was standard. read more

You have to love a diner. They have everything you want any time you want it and the way you want it. The food is here good. The service is also good. And, it is a typical diner right down to the yummy cakes on display. read more

Decent place to get breakfast. Food comes out pretty quick and the service is kind. Love the cool murals on the ceiling. Omelet was delicious, toast came pre buttered (always a plus), the home fries were not great though, a bit overcooked. Had some eggshell in my omelet too. read more

Awesome!!! Everything was Spot On, The Food, Wait time, & ALL delish!! Will definitely Order from this Diner many times!!

Had a great server. Started with a bowl of chili....very good, had a little welcome kick. Soda was good, fries very crunchy and patty melt was not the greatest but hit the spot with grilled onions and mushrooms. The pickle was good to boot. Establishment was also very clean read more

This is my place I love to eat. The food is wonderful. The service is fantastic, and the prices are great. I would rather eat there than any other place. It is clean and the menu is grand. We sit down and the waiters and waitresses immediately bring our drinks. We feel like family there. The specials are delicious and the portions are more than enough, I often take some home. I go all different times many times a week, and definitely every Sunday after church. Long Neck Diner has it all! Go and Enjoy read more

Excellent fried chicken! Flavorful, juicy, crisp skin. I also liked that the sandwiches and entrees come with a salad. Service was fine, but drink replacement was slower than most joints. Batter-coated french fries. Pepsi products. Cheesesteak sandwich was fine, but they use those roasted peppers, and I would prefer fresh ones (are they canned? is this a way of skimping on ingredients a little like so many places seem to be doing?). Huge menu. read more

In the middle of a strip mall sits this larger than you think full service diner. Came here for 1st time based on many favorable recommendations as well as Yelp. It was past lunch so an early dinner it was. I chose the special Fried Cod with fries and it included a soup. The other options are a salad or vegetables. I went with the baked onion soup for $1 upcharge. It was worth it. This soup is prepared a bit differently than I and I am sure many others are used to. Instead of a piece of bread/baguette they top it with flavorful croutons and top those with the melted cheese. It was nicely flavored and I finished it all. The only thing I would ask for would be a bit more broth. Entree choice was the Fried Cod and fries. Four pieces of fish nicely fried, not too greasy. The fries were seasoned and pretty tasty. Had to have a dessert to top this meal off, plus all cakes are baked in house! Have the Coconut Cake! This was so fresh and delicious and not overly sweet and not loaded with the shredded coconut. It was just right. A coffee with this cake would have put me over the top. Server offered it but I had a full soda. Their menu is quite extensive with many side choices of salads and soup with the entrees and sandwich offerings. Service was quick and attentive even as the diner filled up with dinner patrons. We were asked many times if all was ok with our meal. Will be back again! Check it out! read more

We had breakfast at this wonderful place on Sunday. It was very busy, but very organized and our wait was only 15 minutes. My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing which was the scrapple omelet served with home fries and toast. It was beyond delicious. Their menu is quite extensive so there's something for everyone's taste. Our waitress was very nice and our food was served hot and coffee was perfect. Cant say enough about this place! read more

Clean, great staff, good menu food not greasy and plentiful! They do a military discount too! Very popular place!

Our service was terrific and this place has great diner atmosphere- friendly, casual, clean. Our sandwiches and coleslaw and fries were yummy. But the cream of crab soup was really below par- NO crab found in either of our cups, very thick and " flour-ful" , It was so thick that the sprinkle of old bay on top never mixed in. I'm sure a crab broth or flavor was used but this was the first soup we have had there that I felt I would never reorde! read more

Service was fantastic, waitress offered me a to-go cup for my coffee without me asking. Some items seemed overpriced (pancakes and waffles) but other items were priced well. Food was good. read more

Long Neck Diner - Country Omelette - Diners Near Me - Millsboro, Delaware

Never had a restaurant (that lists hours open till 10pm) take a take out order and when arrive to pick up doors locked. Man inside says we are closed. I know I was speaking with Long Neck Diner because I asked several questions regarding menu. If you were closing early why didn't you just say so at 4pm when I called. I even said what time person would be picking up, if that was a problem should have said so. Dinner time on a Saturday night.....don't count on your take out order being filled!! read more

Went down to the Delaware beaches for a weekend in July. Just my daughter , myself and one of my besties. Our first morning we went out to look for a nearby breakfast spot and happened to find this place. Its located in a strip mall but hey sometimes the most low key places are hidden treasures. The server was friendly and we had planned to go back the next morning but time constraints stopped that plan. One of the best diner breakfast we've had. The creamed chipped beef is a must have. After I ate waffle scrambled eggs and bacon I helped out the other two with their breakfasts but got too full. read more

Great Service, Nice Atmosphere & decent food for the price. Good selections and enormous servings. Usually way more than we can eat.

My family and I have come to this restaurant about 3 to 4 times. Generally speaking it's not a horrible place. However the food is all microwave frozen food except for maybe the eggs they have to make by hand. On this particular final visit, my legs were over hard, also ordered a steak. Basically I ordered steak and eggs with a Yingling. The eggs were cold to the touch, the steak was literally a chop steak which I refuse to eat at the price that they were asking so I requested sausage links instead, I said just throw me six sausage links in exchange and it's cool, he provided four links instead of six. My wife's food was microwaved, my daughters food was microwaved, the waitress that handled the final bill which amounted to $55 was extremely rude and standoffish when I mentioned that I had a military discount. The bottled Yuengling beer cost me five dollars and it was actually the only part of the meal that wasn't microwaved or cold...well it was cold, which was good! I'm not to the type to complain, because my dad used to complain all the time when he realized that there was subpar service and product being offered to people at premium prices. I know this restaurant currently has a 4.4 star rating, however I do believe that this rating has come from the older crowd that attends this restaurant on a regular basis and not to be an ass but perhaps they have retirement money or their taste buds no longer work to identify microwaved food I am not sure. I will never be attending this restaurant again and I advise everyone I know to stay as far away from it as possible, Taco Bell for $20 i can feed seven people. I am not one to hate on mom and pop run establishments but this is literally fraud the food cost is not that high to charge families $55, for breakfast. I give longneck diner 1.2 out of four stars. read more

Long Neck Diner - Price of breakfast for a 3 person Family. - Diners Near Me - Millsboro, Delaware

We live close to the Long Neck Diner and go there often. The food, service and atmosphere are great. Portions are large and most customers leave with leftovers. Pricing is also great. Almost all choices come with soup or salad, fries or vegetables, coleslaw and pickle. The staff is friendly and helpful and seem to want to please. Alcohol is also on the menu. Long Neck Diner has it all and you will not be disappointed! read more

I walked and sat down and looked at the menu and realized all of the pricing here is really high and as far as I'm concerned, exorbitant $13 for a hamburger, $16 for a sandwich open face, I mean if you want to go there for lunch and that was the menu that I saw Was at least $20. No thanks don't care if the foods great good or a difference just too freaking expensive read more

I wasn't too sure what to expect because I had read some of the reviews and they weren't overly nice. So here's my review... I went for lunch with a friend and this was for both of us the first time there. I had a BLT with french fries and I have to say it was one of the better BLTs and french fries that I've had in a LONG time. The french fries were crispy and the toasted BLT sandwich was spot on. And the price was very very reasonable. You pay a lot more in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach area and the Long Neck Diner is just a little further to drive. Inside the restaurant it was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of roomy dining booths and clean. It was a really nice dining experience. I will definitely be back. read more

Was impressed when I first tried this restaurant , but after going back several times find that the food varies alot ,as far as quality and quantity that you get... same food ordered before has been cooked different with different taste and the amount of food plated .Also the service varies depending on the wait staff that you get. Would not keep this place on preferred place to go. read more

Long Neck Diner - Reuben sandwich and French Fries - Diners Near Me - Millsboro, Delaware

Steak Marinara over linguine was very good. Nice service too. Have pretty enjoyed everything I've eaten here.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. I ordered from DoorDash tonight (05/31/21) and the food was just awful.. disgusting would be a better word. 1st off, I ordered a Long Neck club on wheat toast. Bread was soggy and way too small to hold a sandwich that size. Suggestion, you guys should really rethink that combination. It sounded good, but did not taste good. The fries were soggy and sopping with grease. The only thing that was salvageable was the pickle. My wife got the roast turkey.. which was more or less thick cut turkey lunch meat that had no seasoning or taste. Suggestion, introduce your menu items to Salt and Pepper. Asked for the gravy on the side (again no taste) and the dish was covered in it. The mashed potatoes were like watery potato poi with this ghastly onion tastes to it. It too, had zero seasoning or salt. It was like taking the money and burning it.. So, do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost. I think I might even be crazy enough to say that Serendipity is just a teeny weeny bit better.. not by much, but a little better. You can see my review on that disaster. I wouldn't even serve what we got tonight to a homeless person, that's how bad it was. read more

This was our first restaurant when we moved into Millsboro. The service is friendly and good. Food is good also. Give it a try!

The food was pretty alright. Not something to be amazed about but not too bad. However, when me and my family were eating we stumbled upon a fly in our dish. It looked like the fly was cooked with the food. We didn't have to pay for this dish. Afterwards, the food made us feel a weird sensation in our stomachs. Later on, my cousin threw up from eating the food. read more

Made the trek from Lewes to Long Neck to have the advertised Shepherd's Pie for me and fried chicken for my spouse. Not available. It was only 6:30. Went for the lamb stew and questioned why a stew with potatoes would be served over noodles. Too many carbs for this senior citizen. The salads were fresh though and the best part of the meal. Our server seemed to be hard working and efficient...just not at our table. Sunday night might be better for ordering a pizza! read more

Best thing about this place is the omelettes, and you can get them every time of day. I love the scrapple omelette. The asparagus and crab omelette is great too. I don't get the home fries with onions (they ask of you want them in the potatoes or not) at night in particular bcuz it's too greasy, for some reason. Wait staff is friendly and dependable. read more
