Long John Silver's o' Long John Silver's. Let me preface by saying this is a heavily biased review. LJS was my birthday spot every year as a kid until it wasn't. See, I'm visiting from NY where they no longer exist so when the opportunity arose to have some on this vacation I had to. My order was simple, 2 pc fish, 3 pc chicken, hushpuppies and I added a 3 pc shrimp. Everything was perfect. The batter was so crisp and so hot, the fish planks were flakey while the chicken planks were meaty and firm. I can't explain the flavor of this besides SALT but wow it brought me right back. The hushpuppies are these crispy, fluffy, oniony balls of bread that go perfectly with the mains, I could eat these forever. The shrimps were also good, though these in particular retain a bit too much frying oil. I had no issues with customer service and although my food needed to be fried fresh both visits I felt like it was still ready pretty quickly. LJS baby come back, the kids miss you.

Yummy

The food isn't very tasty, I don't know why, but I've been here three times and each time it seems like they've added too much salt!

You're gonna wait for a minute. But the food is always hot and stays fresh. I've never had a bad experience with the taste.

The food was amazing. The most mouth watering shrimp I've ever had in my years on this beautiful earth.

Love their fish & chips! The best! Never disappointed and wish they had a restaurant in the South Bay Area.

Facility was somewhat maintained. Restrooms are decent only drawback is they don't participate in the TV promotions.

The menu they have is exactly how I remember, with battered fish/chicken filets and hush puppies front in the center.

We waited for 30 minutes to be seated even though plenty of tables were open, waited another 30 minutes to place an order, waited another 40 minutes until the food came out. At least the decor was "cute" pretty standard for a seafood boil and had TVs. We got 3 pounds of shrimp with the flavor mix and the spiciest level of heat in addition to some Cajun fries. The seafood was so bland and the fries were so dry with little to no seasoning.

It's one of those "low-key hidden but worth finding" spots. Don't let the location fool you! I went on a Tuesday during the week when it wasn't busy at all -- nice and chill vibes. But babyyy once 6 PM hit? Dinner time activated. The crowd definitely started rolling in and you could feel the energy shift. So just know traffic picks up later in the evening if you're planning a visit. Now let's get into what matters: The staff? Super attentive and kind. I love when servers check on you just enough without hovering. And the food came out HOT. Not warm. Not "it's been sitting." I'm talking steaming, fresh, straight-to-the-table heat -- which is exactly how a crab boil should hit. Portions were generous because I was overly stuffed and still had plenty left over for the next day (which honestly might be the best part). Nothing like reheating a seafood boil and running it back. Thank you for hosting me and my guest -- we had such a good experience. I'll definitely be back for my next crab boil fix lol

The ambiance is elegant--definitely sets the tone when you walk in--but the happy hour menu is a bit limited and on the pricey side. Now let's talk about the highlights. Our waiter, Sean, was amazing--attentive, personable, and truly made the experience better. We ordered a few items, and the flavors did not disappoint. The lump crab cake was delicious, the lollipop lamb chops were cooked just right, and the African lobster sticks were my favorite. The sliders, though, were my least favorite of the bunch. As for drinks, I had the Narrative Chardonnay--smooth, dry, and just right. Yolanda enjoyed the spicy margarita, which she said hit the spot. Eddie V's definitely feels like a hot spot--one of those places people come to see and be seen. It gave me a little bit of that Friday's-in-the-80s energy, just elevated with a touch more class, because of the folks who were there. I have to admit, it was a little amusing watching the reactions at the front--those quiet "what in the world..." looks from the hostesses and waitstaff when certain people walked in. I even caught a little whispering and nodding in certain directions... like, "Oh, we see what kind of night this is about to be." And if you read between the lines, you could almost hear it--"Yeah... we probably ain't getting no great tips tonight." Beyond the Menu -- because great dining is about more than what's on the plate.

They are so nice and they are fast. They also get you order right the first time. You will never feel ignored there. They have the best lobster rolls. Their Connecticut Style Lobster Roll is my favorite. It is warm Maine lobster poached in butter with a swipe of mayo topped with green onions and old bay. I don't care for mayo and they always remember not to put it on. Their Maine Style Lobster Roll is chilled Maine lobster and thin sliced celery tossed in lemon aioli topped with green onions and old bay. I prefer the hot one. My husband loves the chilled ones. It's rare to find places that genuinely prioritize kids like that. Then it got even better--when our food arrived, the staff surprised my children with a small Easter gift. Such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture! You can tell this isn't just about serving food; it's about creating a warm, family-friendly experience. The team was incredibly friendly the entire time, and their kindness didn't go unnoticed.
