The restaurant consists of three floors, all decorated amazingly. We were seated in the basement area and had a wonderful server named Jordan. We started off with drinks. I had a non-alcoholic strawberry garden fizz, my husband had a tequila old fashioned, and our son had a Shirley Temple. For an appetizer we shared the Maine Lobster Caprese. Next we ordered the Nando wedge and French onion soup. For our entrees we enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallop Bucatini, Agrodolce Wild Duck Breast, and our son had sides of macaroni and cheese and Parmesan Truffle Pommes Frites. While we were absolutely full after these courses and had parts of our meal boxed to go, our son insisted he had an extra stomach for dessert. We ordered the Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee. We had the bourbon soaked cherries that came with the crème brulee put on the side. The menu selections, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food were all amazing. We can't wait to come back with other family and friends. *I did forget to snap a few pictures of some of our dishes.

We started off with the lightly steamed oysters and it was really good. It came out with a sauce on top of it and I liked it a lot. We pretty much picked the seafood we wanted in our boil bag, picked the flavor, and the spice level. I tried the medium heat level with the juicy special seasoning. It wasn't too spicy and I felt the spice level was just perfect for me. The seasoning was also pretty good. It was pretty well seasoned and they didn't overdue it with the seasoning. The seafood was cooked perfectly. It wasn't overcooked or anything like that. In all, I had a pretty good experience and will probably be back if I'm ever in the area.

We ordered a dozen of oysters, crawfish, snow crabs, clams, and cajun fries. The oysters were very small, so they gave as 14 instead. We also tried 3 different seasonings off of the menu: cajun, lemon pepper, and signature Pier 17 seasoning. You can mix the flavors with different seafood you order. Surprisingly, the best one was lemon pepper, and the other two tasted awful! It was not the cajun I know, rather it was very blend and very greasy. I would not pay this price for the quality of seafood I got. Their service was really awesome though, we got seated very quickly. Our waitress always checked on us to see if we need anything else. She was quick and patient with our needs. However, I would not come back for food.

For our appetizer, we tried the crab cakes, and we were not disappointed. My date ordered the bone-in pork chop with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection and tasty. I ordered the scallops florentine butterfish special for Mother's Day with a side of kung pao brussels sprouts and broccoli. My date and I both agreed that the broccoli left us disappointed, as it was bland and not seasoned (as we have found at most restaurants). My fish and scallops were tender and fresh. The kung pao Brussels sprouts were flavorful and had a nice caramelization. It's definitely a great date night spot!

I've been to various locations and can always count on a solid meal, so you now have a loyal customer! Service is always stellar, and tonight was no different. My only complaint, if I'm being picky, was that I sat at the bar, and the lighting was so dark I couldn't hardly see my food. I'm all about setting the mood, but it was a little extreme, and I don't recall it being that way at any other location. I had one of the specials, the unicorn fish and that was my first time ever trying that particular species. It came with a diablo sauce that had just enough spice, rice and perfectly cooked asparagus. I was offered bread and dessert and even a drink Togo and enjoyed chatting with the bartender. Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty…read more My husband and I have been regular customers for years and have visited this restaurant several times a month. We have always enjoyed the steaks, seafood, and especially the salad bar. Unfortunately, our last visit was enough for us to decide we won't be returning. For quite some time, the quality of the lettuce on the salad bar has been declining. I'm not talking about a few rusty edges--I'm talking about brown, transparent, wilted lettuce that should never be served to paying customers. Over the last 10 visits, I'd estimate 8 of them had lettuce in unacceptable condition. I've always picked around it and kept quiet. This time, after paying premium prices once again, I politely mentioned that the lettuce was not fresh. I was told multiple times that they were "working on it." Thirty-five minutes later, my husband had finished his entire meal while I was still waiting for fresh lettuce. The salad was my meal. When the lettuce was finally replaced, there was very little fresh lettuce put out. To make matters worse, while I was serving myself, old brown lettuce was dumped onto the area where I was getting my salad, including on my tongs. Whether intentional or not, it felt dismissive and unprofessional. What disappointed me most wasn't just the lettuce--it was the lack of urgency and concern. The waitress could clearly see that I had no meal while I waited, yet the situation dragged on for over half an hour. When you're charging roughly $25 for a salad bar and over $70 for dinner for two, customers should not have to beg for fresh lettuce or wait 35 minutes for a basic ingredient to be replaced. We genuinely loved this restaurant and gave it chance after chance because we wanted to support a local business. Sadly, this experience was the final straw. We won't be back. Fresh food and attentive service shouldn't be too much to expect at these prices.

Prolly 4/5 minutes in reality. When you're waiting to eat your food it feels like forever lol. It was a late Sunday afternoon and not busy either. If you want the luxury of accepting cards, you should be responsible for the fees. I'm over going places that charge me just to pay them. Either be a cash only establishment or don't charge fees for using cards! Bloody Mary was fire though! Atmosphere is cute and aesthetically pleasing but just really not worth the price. I think this might be one of the most overrated restaurants in the area. But there's not many seafood choices so I guess do with this review what you will! Be warned slow service and take cash.
