We were here for Mother's Day Brunch with a group of about 8, and 2 small children. We were there for approximately an hour and a half before any food came out. When it did come out it was wrong. We had to ask many times for additional place settings and drinks. It was incredibly disappointing especially since looking around, it didn't seem like there were more than a few other tables sat for this event. When the food did come out it was wrong (my children were asked if they wanted chocolate chip pancakes, they said no, and got chocolate chips in their pancakes. Thank god no one melted down over this) among other things. Eggs were cold, etc. Unfortunately we will not be back.

They all engaged the customers in conversation and made a real effort to get to know everyone. The food was really good. I had a Nick Rocco hero (I'm thrilled to be back on Long Island where heros are the correct nomenclature). It was delicious and big enough to share. This tastes exactly how you'd imagine, the pesto was aromatic and well distributed, the grilled chicken had a slight char though it was a bit on the dryer side, and the mozzarella and peppers added a nice freshness to it. Their mac salad is decent and their house pickles are zingy. Now, the size of this thing is the real problem. It quite literally fit in the palm of my hand and I wasn't exactly full after it. Then for my entrée, I got the flat iron steak with gorogonzola and chimichurri sauce, and my friend got the catch of the day which was a mahi-mahi. I liked the steamed veggies and mashed potatoes that my steak came with and she really enjoyed the fish then when we got to the end, we each got to pick a dessert and we tried the cappuccino mousse chocolate cake, as well as the chocolate ice cream.
