I brought in my Infiniti G35 coupe for an oil change earlier today (8.17.2016). I wasn't familiar with the brand and regular was $36.99 and synthetic is about twice as much so I got regular. I was the only one there and the process took about 10 minutes or so. The guys were approachable and informative. They also did some courtesy inspections and recommended additional service, but I was not pressured. Overall, it was a good experience and the station is very clean. I usually leave any auto shop feeling like I've been mislead or taken advantage of. Not here. I just bought an used Volkswagen in tip top shape and I wondered what they would say was wrong. The guy told me my car was in excellent condition and only needed the oil changed. Because it's a German car, services tend to be able to go longer than the industry standards. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Went for a simple oil change and didn't even go half a mile afterwards and my car started smoking and almost died on the road. I luckily was near another oil change station and they informed me that Lonestar had put too much oil in it. I went back to have Lonestar fix it and the guy there laughed at me and acted like it was a joke. He cursed and was rude. Overall the guys here are rude and clueless. Stay away from here! read more

Great service, to the point. Took 15 minutes state inspection. No wait, went in Sunday around 9:45-10:00 am. Recommend oil change, informed him I was going to wait till a certain milage, was not pushy. Very helpful, gave me info and renewing my registration if needed at Kroger. Very nice guys. Stopped by to check out prices for an oil change the guy was extremely rude, bashed other oil change places for being competitive, tried to tell me "as a female" I guess assuming I didn't know that the vacuum and Check fluids...well yeah everyone does that's part of the service. He continued to bash anther local oil change place and said if I wanted crappy services should go there. I felt completely disrespected and talked down to. I'm sure if my husband was there his tune would have been completely different. I did not get service and will not be back. read more

I read all the great reviews and decided to come here. Big mistake!!! I came in for an oil change and to have a turn signal replaced (fairly simple I thought) when they told me it would be $100, I thought it to be a bit pricey, but whatever... But then when I got in my car I noticed my tire pressure monitor was now on. When I brought it to their attention I was told it's probably just a sensor issue it'll go off soon... So I started driving home and noticed my clock was off. Reset that no big deal. When I got home I noticed my key fob didn't work, and doors didn't lock... So I called (this is now 6:15pm. They close at 7) no answet, left a detailed message about what was going on. As I went out with my family that night I noticed my internal lights didn't work... You know what's fun??? Getting in and out of a vehicle at night with a 10 yr old, 2 yr old and 1 yr old in at night with no lights... Now, I cant tell you exactly what time it is, because every time I turn off my car, my clock resets completely... Now we come to the good part. I get up on Saturday morning, early to come get my car fixed. Drove 20 minutes to come back to this place. First I was told it sounded like an electric problem, and they can't help... But then after ward the guy from yesterday (I wish I had names) recognized my car and said you're the guy who left a message yesterday... (Now wait... You listened to my message and didn't call me back??? What good business does that? "Oh we got the message that we messed up something let me not respond to make it right...". So it gets better... I was told one guy was working on my car then, they switched in the middle of changing my lights and, they don't know what the other guy did... (I didn't know what to do with that info) so another person looked at the car, called the guy who was working on it yesterday and found it was a simple blown fuse... This fixed the problem of the clock, the lights, the door locks, and the tire pressure monitor. So I thought I won't give them this negative review no harm no foul... Whatever. But as a drove toward my home, I attempted to turn the radio on... Guess what??? Now that doesn't work. My Bluetooth, CD, AM/FM... Nothing. Sooooooo I turn around and come back. (It is now 10am. I know this because my clock works again... Yaay) and when I pull back up and say, hey my radio now doesn't come on. You fixed all the old problems, but now there's a new problem... I was told to come back after 12:30 when the original 2nd guy that was working on my car gets in... No apology, no empathy, just come back later. Then he says "I have other customers, so just come back"... So I figure I'll take this 2 Hours to write reviews about my experience since you don't care enough to fix the problems you created. If you have an option... Don't go here. Clearly they know nothing about cars, or good customer service. They seem friendly and conversational, but they truly don't care. You can tell a lot about a place in how they handle their mistakes. And lone star failed miserably. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

I've been going here for years and see a few of the guys move on and others come in.....Even so, the professionalism, honesty and common courtesy continues from person to person and they seem genuinely happy to make sure the customer leaves happy as well. They will remind you of any additional services your vehicle may need based on the manufacturers recommendations but they don't pressure you into doing it. It's just part of willingness to ensure you have the facts needed in order to maintain your vehicle in the best possible way. Sometimes they can do the recommended service there and then or refer you to someone else who is equipped to do a particular job. They really try to do a good job consistently. read more
