I stopped by this Lolli & Pope store to refill my bottle since I was already coming here to visit another store. This store isn't as big as other location but I think the size works for them. When I walked inside, I went straight to the gummies area. I wasn't sure if I wanted the watermelon gummies again or another treats so I went with the dinosaur gummies. They didn't have that many selections of candy so you are limited here. After I filled up my bottle, I went to pay and there was just 2 girls working the cashier area. I know from time to time they would give out free sample in front of the store but today there wasn't anybody there.
A little on the pricey side but the store is worth the visit. They have a unique variety of candies that you can definitely gift others.
BE WARNED! BAD SERVICE First thing you can do to improve is to send my order. We ordered items from Europe that arrived faster than your merchandise and you are in the same city as me. Thus far we have only received one item and arrive squashed with torn packaging; totally unacceptable to give as a gift. We definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE
Super adorable candy store that my nieces and nephew loves going to when their in town to visit. They have so many kinds of candies especially my favorite sour ones and mango ones! They are also friendly too!
This is my first visit to this store. This is a sweet tooth's heaven! They have it all! From truffles, macarons to gummy bears and candies from England. Even some cold drinks! Think of your favorite kind of candy or chocolate and they have it here. The weather was blistering hot outside, over 100, so I didn't want to buy something that would melt in my car. Next time when I'm in the area and the weather isn't so hot, I'll pick up some treats for myself.
I had a chocolate box from here, as it was one of the well known stores for sweets, however it didn't meet any of my expectations. I wanted to like it but they all tasted not authentic and very buttery, and heavy. I have tasted other brands similar this but this one was one of the worst. I actually couldn't taste good chocolate taste at all, they tasted like cheap and fake chocolate truffles. I was really disappointed and this is overpriced for the quality of the chocolate.
In a word, this candy store is simply GORGEOUS!!! Literally the cutest sweet shop I have ever set foot in! Located in the Glendale Galleria, it's in between Kids Foot Locker & the Disney Store. The storefront itself is adorable! We were greeted by a friendly employee handing out samples. When you walk in, it's sort of a sensory overload~ there's a counter with individual chocolates & macarons, a back wall full of gummies & candies you can purchase by weight, another wall of beautifully pre-packages treats... All-in-all, a great selection & variety of candy types and sweets from different countries! Yes, it's a bit pricey but pretty much what I expected going in. Will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in Glendale!
And I thought, Lolli And Pops inside the Glendale Galleria closed down permanently. I found out that they moved just a few doors down. I love the new setup compared to their old location. The facade is now painted in a very nice shade of mint green which felt very welcoming and inviting. The store is very clean and very organized. Inside is a very wide selection of candies and chocolates neatly arranged in shelves. There are also truffles and baked goodies in the glass case by the counter. At the back is a huge golden teddy bear where different gummies and candies sold per pound were. Just scoop your favorite ones and pay them at the counter. The employees look too cute in their uniforms which compliments the decor of the store. Sadly, I find their items a bit pricey but I could enjoy a sweet indulgence every now and then.
Absolutely gorgeous and nicely organised shop. Tons of candies to choose from. Very delighted to see many of my favourite English and Japanese sweets. Staff members are very polite and spark up fun conversations. Four stars instead of five because of the prices. Assorted scoop candies are $15 per pound. A Velvet Crumble will cost you $5. Too much. This is just a great place for someone like me who uses a variety of colours in their cake-baking decor.
Monique is simply the best. She and I had a fun time trying to layer some boozy bears into a refillable jar earlier this afternoon. She convinced me that there was so much space than I thought there was in these jars. I feel like I got my money's worth!! I had a fun time selecting flavors and what not. She and I shared some good laughs between layers. She had to help some customers in-between our filling 3 jars of bears, but we got the job done. Some of the flavors of boozy bears that I purchase included speciality flavors like the following: Sparkling Rose Rum and Coke Mojito Light Champagne Island Rum Sour Peach Sour Strawberry Daquiri Irish Cream Mai Tai I'm not 100% sure if they call these dummies "boozy bears" but that's what my girlfriends and I call 'em. It sounds cute, for sure. Keep in mind when you're shopping here, you're paying a bit more than you would for something you'd find at Target or someplace like it. You're paying for speciality items. And actually, if you are not shopping for speciality items when you're here, they you may as well go to Target. I don't come in here looking for something simple like a Twix bar. I come in here looking for things like boozy bears, hard to find old fashioned candies, loose bulk chocolates, candy bars imported from around the world, green tea white and dark chocolates from Japan, etc. Monique provided great customer service. She was cheery. She was helpful, not just to me but several customers at a time. She let me know about some of the great sales and promos going on, especially the one where you join the loyalty program and you'll be almost immediately gifted a free 1lb bag or their original 12-color gummy bears. Who can complain about that? I almost want to sign my hubby up too so he can get his own lb of bears. This store is beautiful and is really a fun stop. Their display case of truffles is fantastic. I miss their old location. It was HUGE. But I feel like it proved to be just too immense for the amount of business that they were doing. I felt like they'd tried to make some real ambitious moves but maybe it just was too much for their shop. I hope one day they might try again. It's nice to find everything from the old school abba zabba bars to pouches of unicorn poop and waffle cups, huge gummy snakes and bears, Japanese imported candies and treats, super sour things that make your eyes bug out, mermaid treats. . . really, you name it they probably have it. Their prices aren't through the roof like you might imagine. This is not my first visit to this store, as aforementioned, but this had to be, hands down, my best and favorite experience. It's a pretty cool location they have any candy you can think of any part of the world! If you have a sweet tooth is definitely the place to come. The staff in the store is very nice but the line to pay was a little bit confusing. Different staff members told us to stand in different locations but it's no biggie. They also give samples outside the store if you want to stop by for a sweet treat.
Where was this place decades ago? I used to dream about a place like Lolli and Pops. Love candy as a kid. You should see all my fillings. Of course these days, I watch what I eat and make sure I don't get dentures soon. So, I limit my candy intake. This place is heaven to most kids. They have every candy you can think of including candy from different countries. Lolli and Pops is sectioned off into different areas from packaged candy, gummy section, hard candy, chocolate. There's even a frozen treats section where they sell Cool Haus ice cream sandwiches. An ice cream parlor can be found where you can get floats, ice cream and sundaes. My favorite things to get here are the different flavor gummi bears. They have expanded flavors such as concord grape, wild cherry, passion peach, green apple, raspberry, and mango to name a few. It's about $12/lb. So, a bit pricey but at least you can get a variety of hard to find candy.
Been here a few times now and still my favorite candy store. Can I live in here? Probably not. But any time I'm in the Glendale Galleria, I'll be sure to drop by! There are 6 different rooms of candy. There's a Vintage room, International room, Chocolate room, Funky room (I'm pretty sure that's not what it's called...but it's funky), Jelly Beans & Other candies room, and my favorite room...the GUMMY ROOM!!! Complete with a gold gummy bear statue to rub for good luck. There are candy sticks, truffle balls, giant candies, soda pop, pez, etc. You can find pretty much any kind of candy here! This is also a great place to shop for gifts/presents for the holidays or special occasions, because...who doesn't like candy? =) For those who aren't into the sugary, chocolaty, gummy stuff (weirdos), there are also some...nuts? And honey sticks! I LOVE HONEY STICKS! =D One of the coolest things about this place is the ice-cream float section of Lolli and Pops. They make floats, shakes, and so much more! Oh! And a BIG PLUS?!?!?! They have FREE WIFI! WOW! There's no way someone can come into Lolli and Pops and be like, "this place sucks." I can't wait to stop by again next time so that I can indulge in MORE yummy goodness!!!! =P'''''

This is such a cute candy boutique. They sell European and Asian candy, as well as some American staples. They also have the "loose"candies in bins that you can buy by the ounce or pound. Then, they have the case that holds various choices truffles, petit fours, chocolate covered marshmallows, and other more unique sweets. Everyone there is kind and helpful, and they do a great job explaining things if you need clarification or specific assistance. read more

This is my first visit to this store. This is a sweet tooth's heaven! They have it all! From truffles, macarons to gummy bears and candies from England. Even some cold drinks! I have been to countless candy stores and this one tops it all. Yes the prices are a little high but the quality is great. They have little jars you can stuff your candy into. If you bring the jar back you get a 10% discount. If you're a white chocolate lover like me, they have a whole corner for you. Alcohol filled chocolates, different type of soda pops, etc. If you're in the area. Check it out!! read more
I love this place! It's like a giant adult's wonka store...could be for kids too but everything looks so refined and classy and ORGANIZED (must be the old school wood decor). It's almost like taking a tour of all the candies...walk through the lollis to the gummies to the rock candy, international room, etc etc...ending right at the Sundaes and Shakes counter! I think out of the entire Glendale mall we were there the longest! It smelled amazing too (esp that gummy room)! All the employees were very friendly and willing to help, especially my girl Stephanie (she made sure to give us a name haha!) The chocolate counter is smack in center, and that's where we went first! We got: Golden champagne truffle: Looks like a ball of gold! I couldn't taste the champagne much, but the chocolate was velvety, melt in your mouth, rich goodness. Peanut butter puck: I love peanut butter. LOVE IT. This tasted and looked like a classier Reese's (not as cloyingly sweet, richer, creamier PB on the inside). Firecracker truffle: My friend loved this one. Just enough chili to make a statement, with some fizzy candy to make you hear the fireworks boom! We also got a limoncello, but my friend gobbled that one real fast...guess it must've been really good! Will definitely be back to explore again! read more

I have gone here before and it was pretty good. Their candy is pretty good. Though yesterday when we went it said online that they were closing at 7. So my fiance and I got there at 6. The plan was to get dessert. Though when we got there the gate was half shut. The two employees were just sitting talking about whatever behind the counter. We yelled asking if they were closed. The manager told me that they were closed for now because they had too much that they "needed" to get done and would be back open at 8. Then would close for good at 9. This was ridiculous. So, we went over to see to get something instead. We were in there for 20 ish minutes and the whole time they spend just sitting behind the counter doing nothing. My fiance and I were quite upset since that is what we wanted to do and if they really had stuff they needed to do, why werent they doing it. I am petty sure they are not actually allowed to close like that because they gate was not fully shut. This way their not electrical record beside no purchase that they closed. Over all it was just really frustrating and ridiculous. Expectally since they were doing nothing. read more

Yelp 2014 Challenge #57/100 A candy shop- all for me? They have so many chocolates and goodies that you can get, like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. You go in and you can get whatever your heart desires- they even have matcha oreos. Yes. They sell some store chocolate (like Andes and tootsie rolls) but those are not what you go for. They have gummi bears. So many different flavors. Watermelon, green apple to say the least. And you can sample all of them if you can. Their cola gummies are also great.And in that section, they also have a giant gummy bear that you can take pictures with. Chocolate, they have sugar free raisins. Then they have all the traditional chocolates that you love(see attached pictures). And to top it off- 4 for $10 Mexican Coke! (And OTHER drinks!) They also have a malt/shake section of the store that you can go to haha. Welcome to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. You will never leave. read more
This place is so cute, I felt like I was a lollipop kid in the wizard of oz. I was about to start singing.. that's just how cute this lil candy store made you feel. Very bright and clean... definitely their was good vibes up in there because it put me and my sis along with nephew in good sprints.. The nice women working there where very nice and polite. We were greeted when we walked in and were told we could sample any (and I mean any) kind of candy we wanted. I love sour belts and their was some I had never had nor heard about. So after a few sampling I went with cherry/lemonade, sour green apple and watermelon... they were so good and I might add fresh. I would also like to say they have vintage candy that I hadn't seen in years and it straight took me back to memory lane... ohh and prices are reasonable. So when ever you have that sweet tooth (we all do) or you want to find some sweets from back in the days this is the spot... also for you chocolate lovers they have a big glass case showing you all the goods....I stood back from that cuz I would have bought all of them... What a fun store!!! My bf and I spent a good hour in here looking around and standing around simply not knowing where to begin and everywhere you looked there was a yummy surprise waiting for you. You can ask for samples of things and man did I say there was so much to look at??? Candies and chocolates from all over the world, popcorn, ice cream, and sodas! OMG SO FUN. Plus the gift jars that you can fill up with whatever you want (starting at $10) are an awesome idea and the jars are super cute (vary in design). read more
I Love This Place!!! I came here the first time with my mom on one of our shopping days we hadn't been to the Glendale Galleria in a while so it was our first time there. I had such a great time literally "like a kid in a candy store" I had to take my own kids back - so a few days later I did. I returned with my kids and we seriously spent almost 2 hours in this place. We walked from room to room sampling the candies that they offered us and they even walk around with samples of their shakes" You'll wish you never tried", they're that good! and I've seen how they make them they are not healthy AT ALL!!! But so worth it cause it's a once in a while treat!!! So after we walked around sampling and loading up our bags with goodies we sat at the soda fountain. We ordered shakes and hand mixed sodas and watched as they made all those nostalgic treats right before our eyes. This is a great place to spend time with the kids. Candies by the pound are not expensive my kids each came out with a generously filled bag for about $5.00 each. and if you spend $10.00 you get a stamp on your punch card and once you have 10 punched out they give you a $10.00 gift card and money spent at the fountain also gets you for a punch on your card. So next time you're looking for a place to treat the kids or anyone really this place is it. Guaranteed fun to be had! and before you leave "DON'T FORGET TO SMILE" at their photo booth which allows you to take pictures and then email them to yourself for FREE!!! read more
Butterbeer!!!! A candy shop that sells Butterbeer when I can't make it to Universal Studios?! Sold!!! Well, actually, it's Butterscotch Root Beer Flavored soda, but hey, that's what got my attention to come here in the first place, hehe! ;) This was back when Harry Pottermania first started, and since then, whenever I'm craving some Butterbeer, I'll make a pit stop down here. (I could get the real thing at Universal whenever I go back there, but for now, this'll do :) Besides Butterbeer, they also got other Harry Potter candies such as Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Flavored Jelly Beans or Jelly Slugs too. Not only that, they also have assorted candies and chocolates from all past decades, which will delight and bring back happy, nostalgic childhood memories for adults and kids of all ages. My favorite sections happens to be the jelly beans and gummy bears sections. They have a huge variety of flavors, but I mainly gravitate towards the red flavors, hehe! Pricing Unit: If you're using a bag to get candies: 1lbs or more = $11.00, and anything under 1lbs is $15 (and so, you are encouraged to take more candies). You can mix and match candies and chocolates together. They also have gummy bear jars, mason jars, tin cans, and paint gallon size jars that you can also fill up to the brim, and those don't require any pound amounts. Just pick your size, and pay the assigned price. Best of all, the candy jars are refillable depending on what size you pick. They have a price listing there, and staffers will be walking around to help out with any samples you wanna try or answer any questions. Service: Friendly staffers that'll help you out. They do encourage you to sample the products before buying, and so yea, get ready to feel the sugar rush, lol! Before, they had a soda fountain section, but they are downsizing, and so that's a bummer. Then again, not a lot of people liked it, and so it's a good thing they're just selling candies now. Overall, it's a cool candy shop to check out. As long as they have my Butterscotch Root Beer Flavored soda, jelly beans and gummy bears, I'll be back next time! read more
While wondering around the Glendale Galleria, this whimsical store caught my eye. For some reason, something about it reminded me of Harry Potter. Lolli and Pops has so many nooks and crannies to explore! The store is divided into different rooms, all dedicated to candies from to different countries. In the freezer section I noticed Coolhaus ice cream sandwiches!! And in the refrigerator, I spotted novelty soda flavors like bacon and buffalo wings!! Eek! They carry nostalgic candy that will instantly transport you back to your childhood as well delectable looking truffles. They had an area for a soda fountain, but it still seems to be a work in progress. Lolli and Pops is definitely worth checking out! read more
3.5, but upgraded to 4 because Yelp. First impression was overwhelming. It seemed like they had everything. They have rooms for gummies, chocolate, ice cream stuff, and so on. But wait, WHERE IS THE BACON?! The owner has nixed 99% of bacon from his shop. I found maple bacon sea salt caramels that employees had no idea existed in the shop. *The caramels have 0% bacon in them, just bacon sea salt and flavoring. With all of the gourmet chocolate bar combinations here, they intentionally left out one of the best flavor combinations. The chocolate bar section is oh so impressive. You've got bitter, sweet, salty, savory, spicy... There was even an overly excited chocolatier in the room explaining his favorite nutty bars. I settled on a potato chip chocolate bar (by a company that makes a bangin' maple bacon bar). Samples are available, just ask. They have an okay soda and kettle corn selection. Employees went missing when the chocolatier and I went looking for bacon. I slipped on a gummy bear out front of the store. Meh. They do have a rewards card that gets punched when you spend $10, so that's a bonus. read more

I absolutely love this store. I love that they offer so much variety of different candies and sweets from other regions as well. I like the presentation of the store because it really makes you feel like you're in a high end candy store. I also really like that you can customize your candy jars in case you want to gift the candy or you just like the aesthetic. I think the store is aesthetic for photos. This store of sugar, located on the first floor, is pretty amazing. Walking in feels less like a candy store and more like a museum of various types of sweets. It contains an impressive amount of different chocolates, candies, and other delightful treats! They also have a fridge with these drinks you may have never seen before that piqued my interest. You can sample some of the items that are placed along the walls in the jars if you ask an employee (I would not recommend you give yourself permission lol.) The employees are really nice and keep an understandably sharp eye on things, so try not to feel too awkward. The variety in their selection may bring you back to your childhood since they do have selections that one may not be able to easily find in everyday stores. Amongst the vast collection are sweets from other countries such as Europe, Central America, Asia, Etc. Although it won't necessarily break the bank, it can get pretty expensive. Some chocolate bars can run anywhere from like 6-15 dollars. There are other cheaper items as well as items that will cost more. Overall, there's something in here for everyone and is definitely worth a look at the very least. read more
I caught my first glimpse of Lolli and Pops when my son and I were on the escalator near the center of the Glendale Galleria by the Food Park. First, we saw their Ice Cream Parlor & Soda Fountain lined with stools on the perimeter of the shop. Unfortunately, that section is not up and running yet, however the candy then caught my eye and I had to explore every nook and cranny in the place. There was one section with all sorts of non-chocolate candies for $12.00 per pound. I was overjoyed to find Brach's Root Beer Barrels. I have fond memories of stealing my older brother's secret stash of these when I was a kid living in San Mateo. What kid doesn't love candy, but these were my favorite back then and they still are. My son really shouldn't be eating candy with his braces, but I told him he could pick a few things out. Yes, I am a bad Mom. I'll just make sure he brushes his teeth more often. He decided to get some Smarties. I was happy about that because I love Smarties and I'll probably eat most of those anyway. Check out my photos because I took plenty of them. I felt like I was in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. The only thing missing was a river filled with chocolate and the machine that sucks up annoying kids. There is a separate theme to every little room. One room has all sorts of chocolate covered nuts and other things. One of their employees was giving us lots of free samples and all the bulk chocolate is $15.00 per pound. We sampled the dark chocolate covered expresso beans, chocolate covered pecans infused with an almond extract, milk chocolate covered potato chips and by that time I was dying for a glass of milk. On my way out of that room I spotted all the Malted Milk Balls that were dipped in anything you could imagine. If you are on a diet you need to stay far away from this place. read more
I love this shop! Whenever I'm in the Glendale area, I stop by. Huge assortment of bulk candy options, a chocolate/truffle counter, an international section, a retro section, and so much more! My fav is the gummys area. I can get a load of pineapple gummy bears without having to sort through a bag and picking them out. They also have energy/caffeine gummies. Zoom zoom! Walking in for the first time might be a bit overwhelming, so take your time and explore! It's quite a bit like a Willy Wonka candy shop, if you imagine it a bit more upscale. read more

Review 35 The last time I passed by here (that I recall), there was construction going on. I was surprised to see this great addition to the Glendale Galleria since they've lost many of their tenants in the recent years. I quickly went for the gold and was looking at the chocolate pieces they had on display. Honestly they all looked amazing and stylish, I kinda wanted to take one of each! I decided on the Mint Chocolate Chip, real mint shaving and chocolate chips!! Now how can I describe this mouthwatering orgasm. It's filled with a creamy soft chocolate that has a hint of mint, when you first bite it: the chocolate literally oozes out as if was under pressure! On instinct you quickly move into a sucking and licking action as you slowly chew the chocolate you've bitten. The chocolate chips add a much appealing crunch to your bite and melt almost as they're chewed. You quickly move to the second and final bite as you suck your fingers of any melted dark chocolate you left behind! Yes it's this good! Plan B. read more

The best candy store I've ever been to! Craft chocolates, European chocolates, German candies, Japanese sweets, fresh fudge, and tons of select-your-own gummy and chocolate varieties in an old fashioned ice cream parlor setting with candy-themed decor. Plus there was a free photo booth! How could I leave here without buying something for my sweet tooth? It was tough to resist the urge to buy liquor-filled chocolates, flavored honey sticks or a cute Hello Kitty Pez. I will definitely be back. These treats will be great stocking stuffers for the upcoming holiday season. Find this store in the Glendale Galleria on the first floor. read more
