Lomo Saltado
Harry P.

Lola's Peruvian in Glendale was an excellent experience from start to finish. I ordered the Conchas a la Parmesana and the Lomo Saltado, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The Conchas a la Parmesana were cooked perfectly tender scallops topped with a rich, creamy parmesan sauce that was full of flavor without being overwhelming. The Lomo Saltado was just as satisfying: juicy, well-seasoned beef stir-fried with onions and tomatoes, served with crispy fries and fluffy rice. Classic, authentic, and done right. Service really stood out as well. The staff was attentive, friendly, and fast, making sure everything came out promptly and that we were well taken care of. Shout out to Brandon for the great service! The restaurant itself is clean, well-organized, smells great, and has a warm, inviting ambiance that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. Highly recommend Lola's Peruvian in Glendale if you're looking for amazing food and top-notch service.

excellent Steak!

Lolas is best Peruvian restaurant has the best food and ambiance, plus they even allow dogs, which is why I keep coming back to Glendale. The ambiance here is just perfect. The hospitality on Friday night is simply amazing, with music that transports you to the streets of Lima.

Aji de Gallina - delicious!

This is for Doordash so I can only describe the food which was outstanding! My favorite Peruvian dish is Aji de Gallina and Lola's made is to perfection! So much I could not finish, though I tried! Such a creamy sauce, so much chicken and the perfect spice. OMG. When I am here I am ordering this every time! I topped this off with the crocante de lucuma which I had never tasted before. I LOVE finding new things and this one made the best of this year... Just think, a butterscotch flavored fruit that is fibre rich and good for you made into a mousse pie! HEAVEN! Definitely suggest you try this amazing dessert! Loved this meal!

Quinoa cau-cau and fried plantains. Delicious.
Lucine O.

I ordered the quinoa cau-cau and my friend and I shared the platanos fritos with my friend. The fried plantains were fairly standard, but the cau-cau was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I have never had cau-cau before but I was absolutely delighted by my meal. The flavor was amazing (the balance of spices was on point) and the meal was incredibly light. I loved the combination of vegetables with quinoa as well. 10/10 recommend. Price is medium-tier but the portion size was pretty good and kept me full for a good while. Staff were kind and food was prepared quickly.

LOMO SALTADO

Lola's has been on my bookmark for a while now, so I was really excited to try it with my friend today. Lola's is in the heart of Brand Ave. And as soon as you go inside, it's definitely a vibe. We started with bread and the ceviche mixto. It was light and refreshing. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and she ordered Saltado de Camarones. Both were delicious, but I do wish they had a little bit more protein and gave more "green" sauce. The service was good. Just a little tip for you, there are plenty of parking in the back at a private lot or you can look for parking in front of the restaurant. Just a warning... If you don't have your front license plate, you will be ticketed... Everyone in front of the restaurant up and down the street, got a fix it ticket for the front license plate. Me included which kinda ruin the lunch for me!

Great tasting Peruvian food . Good service, and beautiful ambiance . Chi cha brought back many great memories with its authentic flavors. This spontaneous stop did not disappoint.

Beef LOMO SALTADO

This was a perfect lunch stop. Amazing quality food. I had been craving lomo saltado and this place beyond exceeded expectations. The beef was wonderfully tender and the veggies charred so nicely. Rice and Milanesa de pollo also perfect. And the Peruvian Pilsner was actually seriously tasty even off the bottle. Would 1000% reorder. Wonderful service and really nice ambiance. Thank you very much.

Firstly, I wish this place had more business because the food quality that they had a the indoor vibes of this restaurant deserves more attention. I haven't had much Peruvian food before, and I'm so glad that I was able to try this restaurant. I ordered the beef saltado and it was cooked to perfection, I just wish for my own personal preference was more sauce to pair with the rice. The server was excellent and always checked in on us which was definitely nice. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant to try more items on their menu

Yuca frita

We ordered takeout for dinner from Lola's during a quick overnight stay in Glendale. It appeared closed from the outside, and we almost went to another place. Fortunately, another group decided to open the door and when I realized they were open, we followed suit. The staff was welcoming and helpful. After briefly looking over the menu, we ordered the following: Yuca Frita a la Huancaina $18 Seafood saltado $29 Lomo saltado, beef $29 We took our meals to the hotel and immediately dug in. I was pleased to see that the portions were generous, especially since they're on the pricey side IMO. My seafood saltado came with a good amount of seafood and the sauce was flavorful. My son also devoured his lomo saltado with no complaints. I only had a few bites of the yuca frita, but it was also delicious. Lola's was a great pick for dinner!

Disclaimer this was my first time trying Peruvian food but wow wow wow! Difficult to imagine anything else topping their Lomo saltado. Also the bread their serve before the meal comes out. Phenomenal. A must try for anyone in the area looking for excellent Peruvian food

Parking can be a little tricky since it's on a busy street, but it's definitely not something that should stop you from visiting. Not only is the place super cute and clean but I found the food to be incredibly tasty. All three servers (Aida, Carmen and Gisela) were very attentive and a big great help with me maneuvering the extensive menu. I have not really been to many Peruvian restaurants, but if this is any way typical, then I'm certainly a fan . The question is not WILL I be back...but rather WHEN I will return. The answer is VERY SOON whether or not my car needs additional service. . One more thing to note. As I texted a few friends, talked with a few employees at Pacific BMW and casually texted and talked with friends while I ate...it struck me many people I know have been coming here regularly and ALL had similarly good things to say about this Peruvian gem in the muddle of Glendale.

Dried bread and dipping sauces were brought while we perused the menu. Our food came quick. First was the chicken soup we ordered as an appetizer. It was delicious! Warning - the red salsa side dish is super hot. We tested it first, added a small splash, and loved it. Next was a sliced beef and marinated onion sandwich. It was well filled and really tasty, our favorite of the night. The green salsa that comes with it is a perfect compliment - savory and spicy like a molé, but not too hot. We will order this again. Then came the beef heart, not a dish for everyone, but a personal favorite. Seasoned with a great dry rub and cooked on wood skewers, it was on par with the best yakitori I have ever had. What made it even better, however, were the sides. The hominy was perfectly chewy and seasoned. Mixed with the green salad, the potato chunks, and some of the green and white dipping sauces, well, it was an excellent compliment to the dense beefiness of the roasted heart chunks. OTOH, the salsa that comes with the beef heart, while full of chopped scallions and such, was far too sour for my taste. It was like pure lime juice. I tasted it and set it aside, only adding a few bits into my mix of sides. The final nice touch was the price. Total for three dishes was $40 before tax and tip. We will be back. The closest public parking lot is a couple blocks to the north, but we found a metered spot right out front. The ham and cheese is our household "fix," and I'm pretty sure my family would trade me for a fresh stack of them if given the opportunity. I always make sure to grab a few empanadas to go too.
