Expensive, especially for really small portion sizes. Fresh ingredients but nothing jumps out flavor wise. Slow service in case you are in hurry. Why all healthy places cost an arm and a leg? read more

I stand corrected in terms of Lola's having bad customer service. I was contacted directly by the owners and they explained the situation and how they made a significant effort to correct it with their staff. They seemed genuinely concerned about my experience and wanted to make it right, which is top quality customer service in my book. I will likely come back again and give them another shot as a result. read more

Lola's is a true gem! The perfect cafe to enjoy a hand crafted latte or yummy breakfast or lunch with a friend. We were on the area for a water polo tournament and were so taken with this delightful cafe that we brought the whole team back for lunch! The owner is amazingly gracious and clearly has followed a passion to create something special. Don't miss this place! read more

Went here with a bunch of ladies and had an awesome experience. Yes, its crowded but that's a sign of a thriving, successful business. My first visit, the owner Matt, introduced himself and welcomed me. The coffee was good, and I took home some salads that were healthy and awesome too. I was most impressed that the owner was behind the counter, talking to customers....that's how you build your business, get feedback and make it better. That's the sign of someone who really cares about what they're doing. Going back with more friends to support a local, independent business that is doing an awesome job. read more

I ordered the lox, mascarpone, French baguette. It was wonderful! The staff seemed genuinely nice. The time to order and receive my food along with price was reasonable given the quality of the food. I will be back with my family soon so they can enjoy as well. read more

I usually don't write reviews but Lola's is simply the best! I've been coming here for a few months now. I usually just get a drink in between my gap in classes but they have amazing food as well! The baristas are so incredibly sweet and the drinks come out amazing every time. Matt is an absolute blast. He's so kind and makes an effort to be kind to every single customer. He always asks how my day is going and then we talk about the band shirts we're wearing. This place is adorable and I recently I tried raspberry Brie Nutella sandwich in which I was so pleasantly surprised. I love this place it's an absolute gem. read more

THIS AVOCADO TOAST IS LIFE CHANGING. I would travel miles and miles to order it. Luckily I don't have to.

I LOVE this place! Where else in South OC can you get a healthy, delicious lunch (or breakfast - we were here for lunch this time) at a place that's not a chain? This time, the owner was manning the register and helped me decide between my options. He was spot on! Everything I have eaten here has always been top-quality and tasty. read more

I love this local coffee, breakfast (do yourself a favor and try the breakfast burrito) and treat spot! Customer service is fantastic! Food and drinks are delicious! Great ambiance and decor as well with a nice patio to enjoy on a beautiful day. So much nicer than the commercial chains. read more

We have been here a few times now. The food is excellent, staff is pretty friendly. The owner is there on a daily basis making sure everything is flowing properly. I have tried 3-4 different plates, have not been disappointed yet. PROS= great, rustic, home made feel to their food. Drinks are ridiculously good. I enjoy the lavender arnold palmer but they also have stumptown on tap!! The Louis grilled cheese is some kind of delicious!! CONS= It can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to get your food. If you are trying to fit this into your lunch break, you may not make it. Expensive. For what it is (sandwiches and salads) it is on the higher end for an order at the counter kind of place. Crowded - Sometimes there is no where to sit. They have some larger tables, you might have to share with someone else, if you are lucky. All in all, we enjoy coming here, but they need to add some more affordable options to their menu. read more

Arrived at 12:30 on a Tuesday and was told it would be at least 30 mins for an egg salad sandwich. There weren't many patrons and tons of people in the kitchen... Ok.. 30 mins. 30 mins later I got served a curry chicken salad sandwich. I told them I didn't order that. They said I could either eat that or wait another 30 mins. Really, those are my options. I took it because I was with colleagues who had already eaten so we couldn't wait another 30 mins. Would have given 2 stars but went with 3 because the food was good. Service... Not so much. read more

This place reminds me of the family owned coffee and breakfast places I used to go to with my folks in NY. As a kid. I love the non coorporate feel. The food is fresh and original! The coffee is out of this world! My favorite is the bullet brew! The owners are super super nice!. And.. and i have to say.. the one lady with the 2 star review must have been having a bad day. I go there at least twice a week on my way to my my office and love it. I will gladly pay a few dollars more for fresh original food and to support the small family owned business! This is what America is all about! Thanks Lolas cafe LDR for being here! read more

This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Ladera Ranch. Their options are not only healthy but also very satisfying. I love their lavender latte and avocado toast. They're always very courteous and the food presentation is so aesthetically appealing which is a big deal for me! Honestly I haven't tried any of their lunch options yet, but I heard a lot of good feedback. Besides, the place is always buzzing and full at lunchtime when I drive by so that should tell you something! I highly recommend this place. read more

The atmosphere is lovely - relaxed, pleasant. I will definitely return! read more

This was my first time here as I just moved to the area. I ordered the honey vanilla latte and was super disappointed at the lack of flavor especially given that it was $6! The avocado toast was ok I've had better..for a totally of $18 bucks and just "ok" flavor I'll definitely be trying another coffee spot. read more

I visited Lola's for the first time today for breakfast and ordered avocado toast and green tea. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavor was delicious! I also love how sweet and quaint the cafe is. My experience was so awesome that I decided to go back for lunch the same day and ordered the oven roasted turkey club sandwich, and that was equally awesome! I met the owner, Matt, and he was very kind and open to feedback, which I believe are great qualities for entrepreneurs, and people in general, to have. I highly recommend Lola's Cafe for breakfast, brunch, or lunch! read more

Amazing place with a great feel. Avo and Egg Smash is to die for. Lavender Latte is tasty too. Will definitely be back

Ladera really needed Lola's. Most of the food options are seriously lacking in this community. Lola's food is delicious, and the atmosphere is inviting. My only problem now is not to look like the weirdo that eats there every other day. read more

Absolutely delicious! Recently started working in the area and I have been trying all the food places for lunch. I found Lola's and finally tried it today. I was planning to just get the Matcha Green Tea Latte I saw on their Facebook page, but when I looked at the menu when I went in, I knew I couldn't pass up the Italian chicken sandwich! Wow! It was better than I could have hoped for. Fresh organic free range chicken, basil and an amazingly flavorful homemade pesto sauce. The chicken was so flavorful it was unbelievable and it was all on the softest most delicious baguette. I meant to only eat half because I am going out to a big dinner later, but I couldn't stop myself. Plus it's not an overly huge portion which is great because who needs a foot long with a pound of meat for lunch! I have had a hard time finding somewhere that doesn't give a portion that induces a food coma when I get back to work. I also tried the green tea latte and it was perfect. The staff is friendly and I love the open floor plan with lots of windows and a clean beautiful style. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone about you guys. Thanks for the great experience! A perfect new addition to the area. read more

So good! Decent price, excellent coffee, healthy, tasty, and filling food, and quaint environment! Will be back for more!
